I'm so glad that I was recommended to her and even happier that I chose to hire her. She listened intently, asked probing questions, challenged the perceptions and facts and went to work. Her writing style was tight and direct; she went for the best decision for me. Her negotiating discipline got me the outcome that was best for me and my family. I've already referred her several times and would not hesitate to do so again in the future. If the occasion came up again I'd hire again in a minute. What she charged was a lot, but very fair for the work she put in. She worked way more than the billable hours and pushed back to get me the result that I wanted. She even did some additional work that was needed pro-bono since it was the right thing to do. read more

They don't listen at all. Just tell you how you don't have a case. If they can't take any more clients, that's one thing. They shouldn't tell you you don't have a case though for their reason. Just seems like a dishonest place. If your case isn't something a toddler could win, they aren't here for that. If I could leave a 0 I would! BEWARE do not hire Kristi at Sapphire Legal. There is a Facebook Group Victims of Kristi Favard created by cheated, disgruntled clients. Look it up and do your research! Kristi will promise an easy win, large settlement, etc. take your money and rarely, if ever, you will hear from her again. As my employment attorney, she missed the required deadline for a response by my employer, produced a document full of mistakes and grammatical errors, and never returned my former employer's phone call. She never produced a document outlining work hours and even moved her office to another location without informing her clients and had phone lines that were out of service for days. She NEVER answered her phone in the over 50 times I tried to call her. In an already stressful time in your life you need an attorney you can count on and trust. I would leave 0 if I could. I was going though really hard time with my employees, and I got in touch with Kristi in August, 2021. She took $1,000 (as attorney fees/consultation) and promised me that she can help me with my case. The last time I hard from her it was February 2022. This lower is very unprofessional and unethical. Please read the most recent review by Chelsea P.'s review that was also negative!! I couldn't agree more with what Chelsea experienced and my heart goes out to her and the experience she had. UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO GO THROUGH A SIMILAR SITUATION WITH THIS LAW FIRM. Don't bother reading reviews that are years older. Maybe during those times this law firm actually cared for their clients but definitely not anymore! I would not recommend this place under any circumstances. The law firm decided to terminate this relationship with me AFTER being fully paid the discussed amount. I was encouraged to take the option of paying them first rather than any other options they had. Of course they were extremely delightful to deal with during the first call where Kristi Favard showed sympathy towards my situation and said I had a solid case. She was even great after receiving all the proof I had on the company against wrongful termination. All of a sudden I started to hear less and less from her and her and the law firm's responses not only became scarce but rude. Their issue with me was that I wasn't following procedure in dealing with the case manager only but emailing the lawyer herself. Well, when I wouldn't hear from the case manager or had questions directly for Kristi, I wasn't allowed to reach out to my own attorney!!! They did eventually come back with an offer from the company which I thankfully declined. Days later the law firm terminated their relationship with me. I went back to my company and said that I was no longer being represented by the law firm and I was able to negotiate a much better offer than what the lawyer had initially come back with as their final offer! What a ripoff! Please find another firm that will take the time to listen to your case and will treat you like a human being. This firm is not worth it at all!! read more

Do NOT hire if you want to win your case. She simply FAILED US- This firm struggles with staffing issues constantly and loses Information and often forgot the reason for Our lawsuit. I don't expect her to be proficient in commissioned positions in the auto industry but she simply didn't even try to understand, she didn't call with questions ever. She simply sent out a 400k demand letter with no evidence or understanding of the claim and was simply laughed at by opposing counsel which she crumbled under. Her "team" was absolutely Horrible with communication which caused us to fail to meet critical deadlines. She frequently traveled to other states like California for (i assume) Big money cases and simply can't be troubled with anything less than million dollar paydays... She is quick to lock down a retainer then closes your case shortly after claiming she doesn't have enough information to pursue the claim. She does not conduct investigations nor subpoena records again mocked by opposing counsel. So now I am left a letter - not a phone call that's she closed my case and now it's beyond time allotted to file a claim with new counsel... . ABSOLUTELY reckless and a joke to the legal system. If I could give her negative stars I would. Kristi Favard is by a wide margin the most unprofessional attorney I have ever encountered, I believe she is a predatory attorney who uses unenforceable and unethical contract language to keep money for work she has not performed. She misrepresented court requirements while trying to get me to pay her more despite our existing fee agreement, and also agreed on a course of action in my case to only later ask for 2X her original fee. She was over an hour late to our conference, and got key details about the case wrong. In over 2 years she filed one amended complaint and propounded discovery, then went silent. It wasn't until I read defense's response that I learned they'd been trying to get ahold of Kristi but she never responded, completely unacceptable. She badgered me to pay $6,000 for the dispositive motion phase to "file or defend any dispositive motion", no motion was ever filed and she claims she can keep the entire $6k. She ultimately abandoned me before the end of my case for asking about a refund and I had to represent myself to finish it out. She sent me a letter that sounds like it was written by a teenager, complete with insults and fabrications. She also tried to get me to sign a liability waiver and non-disclosure agreement (she didn't want me writing reviews) while I was unrepresented, which is a serious violation of ethical rules. From the other reviews it sounds like she's done this to many people. If you feel Kristi Favard's conduct was unethical, particularly if she got you to sign a liability waiver without telling you to seek independent counsel, you can make a report to the Washington State Bar Association (https://onlinegrievance.wsba.org/), anything you submit to the BAR is protected. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your legal representation. I really wish I had. read more

If it gave me a chance to choose zero stars I would. I talked to my lawyer once over the course of almost a year. Once i lost my case being represented by kristi, I was left alone to figure it out on myself. She will not fight for you. And she will never return your call. I came to sapphire legal attorney Kristi Favard during a time of need and vulnerability. My employer was treating me in a manner inconsistent with a company employee agreement and was operating in violation of federal, state, and municipal regulations. Miss Favard seemed understanding and empathetic during my initial $750 consultation. She convinced me that for a bulk rate of $7500 she would represent me through letter writing and negotiating of my case against my employer. As my situation with my employer further deteriorated I at least thought that Miss Favard was working to back me up. She wasn't. She had initially stated that she would send a demand letter to my employer within weeks of taking my case. This never happened. She instead left me hanging out in the wind. Phone calls to her office were met with rude responses (Alexandria) or not answered at all. Pivotal emails sent to Sapphire legal and Miss Favard went unanswered and thus further put my employment in jeopardy. Miss Favard's staff eventually (5 months on) put together a demand letter for me to review. This letter was so out of touch with reality as to be laughable. When confronted with the notion that the demand letter lacked factual basis and was inconsistent with what I had been presenting as testimony office staff (Alexandria)became offended. Attempts were made by Miss Favard's office to shift blame to myself for their own lack of action. I was eventually unjustly terminated from my job and needed legal assistance more than ever. Ironically Miss Favard's showed a renewed interest in my situation once I had beenn fired. Because Miss Favard had delayed action on my case for so long I felt as if I was now stuck with dealing with her in lieu of searching for a new attorney. For her part Miss Favard was able to convince me once again that she could help me resolve my issue this time through a law suit. I was suckered in to paying her firm another $7500 to file a law suit with a promise of a $2500 refund from my original agreement with her office. 4 months on from my termination neither of those things have happened. Upon her failure to act as my attorney I utilized the BBB in attempt to make contact with her. Sapphire legal and Miss Favard failed to respond to the BBBs request for information. I have now reached out to the Attorney General of the state of Washington and will be filing a complaint with the Washington state bar association. Miss Favard is now in possession of $15,750 of my hard earned money and has never sent a single page of correspondence to my now former employer in representation of myself. I believe that if she would have stood by the terms of our mutual agreement that I would still be employed and my family would not be suffering. I only hope that it is not too late for me to find sound, professional, courteous representation to work out my employment issues. As for the 5 star reviews given here and on other review sites for her service I am highly dubious of there origin. Please look at other google and yelp reviews to confirm what I suspect. As of this writing it appears that the Sapphire-legal website has been taken down. So shady! I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from this establishment. When I first approached Kristi about a legal settlement case, with a proposed agreement document, Kristi said she knows the situation very well, and that by retaining her services I will get a better settlement agreement. After the case ended, Kristi claimed she achieved a better agreement, probably not noticing it was word for word the original agreement text. I asked for a partial refund, and Kristi refused. I wanted to give Kristi the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge that I didn't need her services, and suggested to have a phone call, before posting a negative review. After multiple inquiries from my side, a phone call was scheduled. The phone call was postponed last minute, followed by no-show. Kristi replied in writing (charging me 1.5 hours for the time it took to write the reply), and I think this quote sums it all: "Requests for refunds are one of my biggest annoyance ..." (if that is the biggest annoyance, does that mean it happens often?). In the following multiple email exchanges (still never got the courtesy of a phone call), Kristi never expressed self doubt, claimed to achieve results that were given by default, and used offense as a mechanism of defense. Similar to the other review, I got the same feeling that they take way too many cases and cannot give a good customer service. Seems like a one-person show, surrounded by multiple paralegals that act as gatekeepers. I would not recommend this establishment, and would encourage you to do your homework. read more
