My son has a critical illness which I mentioned, and they suddenly couldn't see him. Very disappointed in the lack of care and compassion from this practice! Agree with the other poster that the front desk staff are particularly rude, most times we have engaged with them they are very rude.

She had a bitchy attitude to begin with. Maybe because I'm not a child they treat anyone over the age of 18 like degenerates. Know your role receptionist. The women working in the office are very rude. I made an appointment a week ago for a physical which they confirmed. They apparently called and texted a phone number that wasn't mine on file or the one I called from to make the appointment. Then they were telling me they needed to confirm the appointment but when I call to make an appointment there shouldn't need to be a second confirmation. They told me "we can't see you today" so I left and there was nothing said after that. Not a have a good day or nothing. Very uncomfortable and disgusting attitudes. Anyway they suck and are very rude women working in there. Glad I won't be back and I'll never bring my kids here

The door is clearly labelled and opens with ease. You simply walk up the stairs and through the door. The outer office has plenty of comfy seating and lots of pamphlets and fliers full of useful information. There are multiple people available as part of this group. I have seen Nina twice since my first review. She is warm, welcoming, smart, and very understanding. I'm sure she could make anyone feel right at ease. Her room is full of comfy places to sit with atmosphere that lends itself to being able to talk. While I haven't seen the rooms used by the others I'm sure each is as comfy.

Working with Julie Price truly changed my life. I've worked with other therapists and I've never…read morefound the balance of compassion and competence that I found in Julie. She helped me learn, and put into practice, the skills that I needed to move forward to the next phase of my life. The changes began after my very first session. Working with her for just a year, I was able to plan a move across the country and get a job I would have originally been too stuck to even apply to. Helping me understand the flux and flows of life, Julie helped me through my cousin getting a cancer diagnosis, understanding how to set boundaries for myself, and how to break out of my family role while also helping me tackle the emotional reactions that all these situations evoked. Julie is honest and a catalyst for growth. Sometimes I didn't want to hear what she had to say, but I always needed to hear it. She helped me conceptualize tools and skills that I can take with me and work on everywhere I go, I always left her office knowing exactly the step I needed to take and with back up plans in place in case I needed them. Throughout therapy I felt empowered, and when I was frustrated, I felt supported. I grew more, emotionally and as a young adult, in just the year I worked with her than any other given year of my life at once. Julie got me out of my head and making moves in the physical world that really showed results in my life and changed the way I view myself and how I connect with the world around me. I highly recommended her to anyone who is seeking therapy because I genuinely believe that if you're ready to put in the work, Julie can help guide you on your journey forward.

The caregiver caring for my mom 24/7 at HarborChase in Madison, Connecticut, has been truly extraordinary--compassionate, kind, patient, and incredibly generous in spirit. She has provided my mom with exceptional care while bringing warmth, dignity, and reassurance to what has been a significant transition for our family. Her dedication and genuine concern for my mom have meant more to us than we can express. Just as important has been the professionalism, communication, and responsiveness of the Heather Homecare team. They have worked closely with the assisted living team at HarborChase to facilitate communication and ensure everyone is aligned regarding my mom's care. When time did not permit us to handle important documents and paperwork ourselves, someone from the agency personally came to pick everything up. That level of responsiveness and willingness to step in made a meaningful difference during an already demanding time. What makes Heather Homecare stand out is that the exceptional hands-on care and the professionalism behind the scenes truly go hand-in-hand. We have felt supported not only by a remarkable caregiver, but also by an agency that communicates clearly, follows through, and understands how important it is to make a difficult transition as seamless as possible for both the client and the family. We are deeply grateful to Heather Homecare for the care, compassion, and support they have provided to our family. Exceptional elder care requires skill and experience, but it also requires heart, communication, and genuine commitment. Heather Homecare has demonstrated all of these qualities, and we recommend them wholeheartedly.
