As a study abroad student from America, the Giacomini brothers welcomed us with open arms for the 5 months we resided in Rome during the spring of 2008. Their panini are impeccable, they never hesitated to get us a cold bottle of wine from the back room, and they provided useful travel directions and suggestions for day trips to places such as Sperlonga. The service was also good, and the staff were friendly and kept things moving despite how busy it was. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the restaurant was absolutely scorching hot inside and extremely packed. It made the meal a little less comfortable than it could have been. Other than that, it was a great place to eat with quality Italian food. If they can improve the temperature and crowding, it would easily be a five-star experience.
