Such a beautiful store in the shopping area of Positano with a really bad customer service. The older lady who I'm thinking is the owner was soooo rude. She was getting upset at people for touching the stuff. Lady this is a souvenir shop and people need to look and even touch before buying. If it wasn't for the tourists you wouldn't even be in business. So please change your attitude. The store was packed with tourists when I took the pictures and I didn't even notice the sign til I exited the store. I loved the products in thstore and bought 2 beautiful tablecloths from one of the nice sales ladies that approached me. I looked around in other shops but couldn't find the ones I saw at this store. So I ended up buying them from here. read more

Was there in April and they definitely invite you in with the giant candles and lemon scents. It's like most of the shops around - specializing in lemon stuff (candy, limoncello, candles, lotion, etc) but it's one of the larger one. A lot of reviews seem to be complaining about customer service but we had a fine time there. Their candy was better quality and less expensive than some of the other touristy spots and we bought a few gifts for friends back home. Positano is LITTERED with shops like this one so you can find the same stuff almost everywhere, but we were happy with this spot and enjoyed the free candy and limoncello samples. read more

Good selection of everything "lemon"! I bought Limincello and a lemon ornament. The store was clean and the display of their items were beautiful. They also had jewelry which I almost bought but they didn't have the style in silver that I wanted. It's a great place to visit for special gifts to bring back home. (I didn't take any pictures. This store is a rip-off. My fiancé and I came in here during our visit to Positano. It was the only store we walked into that did not allow you to take pictures of anything inside the store...like a big lemon decoration or a bar of soap (what am I going to do with the pictures? I only use them to document my trip to have as memories!). We bought some candies, an air freshener, and soaps. As we were checking out and I was signing the receipt I realized that something wasn't adding up. I questioned the cashier about the charges and she quickly handed me 5 euros as a refund for what she overcharged me (clearly she was aware of what she was doing and thought she'd get away with it). The air freshener we bought was supposed to last 6 months (as it said on the label) but it barely lasted us a month before we had to throw it out. read more

We happened to stumble upon this shop by accident way back in 2010 while on a cruise along the Mediterranean. The quaint shop sells all kinds of goods, from plates to postcards, but the ultimate two things we purchased were their mouth-watering lemon drops and limoncello liquor. The lemon drops are packaged so nicely you don't want to open it. The limoncello we picked out came in a beautiful glass bottle which we gifted to a special aunt back home. read more

I was drawn in by the lovely lemon scents. The ladies on the sales floor were accommodating and helpful. However, when I was paying, I asked if I could use my Amex card (there's a sticker on the door indicating that American Express is accepted). The cashier (an older woman wearing a lemon bucket hat) was extremely rude. She asked, "why would you ask that? Do any other boutiques accept it?" She was extremely condescending. For a shop that caters to tourists, her attitude is unacceptable. read more

Good lemon-themed souvenir shop - candy, soap, limoncello, dishware, etc. They have the most reasonable prices we could find in Positano. A slightly aggressive sales lady, but that can easily be overlooked. It's the first lemon shop you come to when walking from the main road down towards the water, and it smells amazing - it will lure you in. Their lemon drops (the larger ones) are to die for. I can also vouch for their limoncello - it's some of the best around (not too sweet, just smooth and delicious), it's well priced (€10 for 20cl), and it comes in a stiff cardboard box that not only protects it on the trip home but also makes for a great presentation if you're gifting it. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but the old lady who runs this shop was so rude. I was so shocked by her tone and demeanor. If you're in the area and is looking for souvenirs please go elsewhere. There's plenty of other shops that sells the exact same stuff with better customer service! Misread the price tag on a bag when we checked out I was shocked with the total amount since we didn't purchase much. When asked about the price on the bag she shoved the price tag in my face and say I should check it before buying. WTF so rude!!! Clearly you need a new pricing gun with better ink. Even my husband thought it was marked the same price that I thought I was marked for. 18.00 she kept on saying this is hand painted it's 180 if you want cheaper tote there's those printed one instead. She repeated it 3 times. Finally got annoyed and told her off that I f*** got it. I honestly wouldn't mind paying that price for the bag but with that sour attitude I rather take my business elsewhere. read more

If I could leave less than one star I would. She was so rude to me and my friends. We were all buying a 5 euro candle. I paid for my candle first and my friend went after me. The lady was already very rude to me and gave me attitude. My friend went after me and tried to pay with a credit card and she threw a fit and started yelling at her. She said that "the youths of today don't know that credit cards are taking money from shop owners and giving them to the bank". Mind you my friend had no problem paying with cash and there was no sign saying there was a credit card minimum. She then went on to say that we were the reason the the global economy was tanking and we were ignorant to the fact that credit cards are killing her business. Im sorry but the reason you are failing as a business is because you are rude to paying customers. I wanted to return my candle after she was so rude. I did not want my money going to her. read more

The lemon smell lured me into this lemon gift shop. I found a candle to purchase and went to the register where an older lady stood next to a sign that said "handmade by the lemon lady" and was dressed in lemon garb. When we said "ahh, you must be the lemon lady" she went off. We were chastised that there were 4 of us only buying one candle. She was rude and disrespectful to us claiming we were teasing her about being the lemon lady and that she has 10,000 tourists coming through her store each day all saying the same thing and not buying enough. My family decided to say nothing back to her and walked out without buying the candle (or anything). I would NEVER go back there and would encourage others not to buy from someone who clearly hates the tourists whose money she relies on - it makes no sense. I am shocked at her rudeness, the way we were treated, and very surprised she is still in business. read more

I agree with an earlier review one of the older sales ladies does seem quite aggressive. As you walk into the shop they have a lovely lemon candle burning which smelt beautifully I asked if it was with citronella and she answered very abruptly that everything was purely with lemons. As the beautiful smell beat me from not buying anythinng in the shop I bought a candle. Very disappointed now I am home smells nothing like the one in the shop and when lit is just very smokey. Glad I didnt buy the very big candle that they had!!!! read more
