Such a cool little perfume shop! The owner was so sweet I loved hearing about how the family business started and learning about the different scents. Me and my husband both picked out a scent to take back home with us. It's currently my fave! read more

Review from 5/18/2015: Ahhh typical stinky American. Yeah, talking about myself here. We had just walked The Path of Gods and smelled horrible. Shop keepers worst nightmare stinky Americans in his beautiful little shop. He was very kind let us sniff a lot. He (assuming he is the owner) really had a passion for his perfumes we ended up picking one with a little hint of lemon smell:) Perfect because I wanted to walk down to Chez Black for dinner and needed some help in the fresh department. Back home, I have been complemented on the lovely light sent. Win win for me:) read more

I was in Positano back in 2017 and happened to walk by this shop as my friend and I were roaming around town. The gentleman there was polite and friendly, happy to show us their different scents and products. I'm not a perfume person because I'm sensitive to most perfumes but their Sera di Maggio smells so amazing. I've been using this for the the last 3 years, using it occasionally, and running out now. I purchased 3 other scents/perfumes but gave them away as gifts to friends because they kept asking about what I used. I always get so many compliments for the Sera di Maggio and now I'm trying to order it online to be shipped to the US but no luck. I highly recommend everyone to stop in and take a sniff. Anyone from Los Angeles who happens to visit Positano, please bring me back a bottle. I'll pay you. Thank you. read more

I was taking my night stroll and came upon this cute little soap and perfume store. I met Gennaro and Filamena. Gennaro showed me the floral and citrus perfumes they make. I really like the lightness and simple clean scents they offer in nice looking perfume bottles and mostly made in the back of their little store. I will come back for some soap and scented oil. read more

This is a must if you like light, refreshing fragrances. This is a family run business since 1922. I spent some time in the shop sniffing every lovely soap and perfume. I tried the Limone and Mediterraneo fragrances on me and, after much deliberating, bought about a dozen soaps, a lotion, and 3 small bottles of Mediterraneo for myself, mother, and sister. My biggest regret is that I didn't buy a larger bottle of the fragrance and more soaps. They are absolutely lovely. The shop owner was so nice an patient with me while I checked out everything. He explained the history of all the products. read more

My husband and I stopped by this shop while walking back to our hotel, the woman was such a sweetheart and let me take home some samples. I couldn't stop smelling them after I left, they settle so beautifully. I woke up early the next day just to get the perfumes I liked and the owner was such a nice man. This store is a must if you are in Positano. These lovely employees made me think about coming to Positano again just for them! read more

I normally hate perfumes, due to their artificial, chemical or cloying scents but I LOVE the perfumes here! I bought two for myself and one for a friend! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful as well! Its a family business- started in 1922 I believe, and their products are just lovely. Certainly stop in here if you're in Positano!! read more

I visited this place on my last trip to Positano and absolutely loved it. Its a family owned bussiness that has been making olive oil, ocean and lemon inspired soaps since 1922!!!The store is located on the main street in Positano and is open quite late.Their ocean and lemon soaps and scents are amazing. Also, I never tried a better body lotion! The owner Genarro let me smell and try everything before I made up my mind. I bought my mom a travel sized bottle of their lemon scent and she loves it! Wish I could order their products online:( Will make sure to stock up next time I am in Positano. read more

Gennaro is amazing - if you want, he will give you in depth perfume knowledge. This is an experience. Unlike the staff at Nordstrom/Niemans - these are natural handmade perfumes and oils which the family will encourage you to try all of before you make a purchase. No selling needed- you will love these infectious scents! I bought 4 different scents in oil, soap, and toilette spray. I spray on "Saracens" at bedtime and waft off to lovely dreams. Great value/ reasonable price! Thank you, Gennaro and the Barba Family! We'll be back! read more

She was getting upset at people for touching the stuff. Lady this is a souvenir shop and people need to look and even touch before buying. If it wasn't for the tourists you wouldn't even be in business. So please change your attitude. The store was packed with tourists when I took the pictures and I didn't even notice the sign til I exited the store. I loved the products in thstore and bought 2 beautiful tablecloths from one of the nice sales ladies that approached me. I looked around in other shops but couldn't find the ones I saw at this store. So I ended up buying them from here.

They had a large number of US brands and some I didn't recognize which were better than I can get here at home. I get the feeling this is the US equivalent to CVS/Walgreens.
