Prices seemed fair for basic coffee given the location and spacious outdoor seating. An espresso is 1,35 euros. Just a tad more expensive than your local coffee spot. The more dressed up coffees (flavored lattes, cappuccinos) were 4 euros+. I'll stick to an espresso. The bathroom though was disgusting with no toilet paper and also was not working.

Great place for a night cap especially on a warm Spanish night! Bartenders and servers were incredibly friendly and professional. Oh and the bartender gives a good pour! I don't think this place really needs another glowing review, but here I am. I stumbled upon it…read morecompletely by chance on the first day of the arrival, after a long drive, simply because it was close to where I stayed. I knew nothing about it at the time, so I wasn't surprised later when I checked Yelp and saw how consistently praised it is. The restaurant sits directly across from the stunning Baroque San Luis de los Franceses (18th century). From the moment I walked in to ask about the menu and timing, the team was incredibly welcoming and patient, carefully explaining how everything works. We took a short walk to explore the neighborhood, got lost on the way back, and somehow found our way back just in time before the restaurant closing. Despite that, the staff remained warm and accommodating, especially when helping us navigate the wine and jerez selections. I was too tired and out of practice with my Spanish, so I reluctantly switched to English, and it was still completely fine. The food was outstanding, exactly as everyone says. There are no substitutions, and once you've eaten there, you understand why! Everything is intentional. They go out of their way to accommodate you within their philosophy and to make the whole "slow food" experience feel thoughtful, relaxed, and special.

It is small and intimate, with seating on the street, at the bar and in a cozy and calm dining room in the back. The drinks are creative, I LOVED the sangria!. Also we great service from Vicki and the rest of the staff. I am a New Yorker and I think service is important, and these guys hit the mark.
