Depois de passar uns meses na Coreia, comecei a amar coffee shops! Qualquer Santo Grão me dá uma boa lembrança do meu intercâmbio :) A filial do Itaim é maior (2 andares) e tem um espaço bem gostoso ao ar livre. Durante a tarde é mais tranquilo e você encontra várias pessoas trabalhando ou estudando. E à noite começa a ficar mais divertido e bem cheio! O ambiente está preparado para qualquer tipo de ocasião e adoro isso! Pessoalmente, eu gosto mais do brunch do que os pratos principais. Os pratos são muito bons, mas nenhum deles se destaca comparado a outros restaurantes, por isso o Santo Grão não ganha 5 estrelas. Gosto muito também dos sucos variados que eles têm, valem muito a pena! Meu preferido é o Alma Verde.

Santo Grão is a great (if a bit over-priced) option for bringing out of town guests or a date any time of the day in Itaim Bibi. They have a varied menu with lots of healthy options including accommodating gluten free or vegetarian friends. The star of this location is the very clever giant umbrella which covers the entire patio of more than 12 tables. The umbrella can be retracted making for a great outdoor atmosphere in any weather. At night they light up the patio with romantic tiki torches. Fresh fruit juices and creative coffees in the daylight give way to creative cocktails and sangrias as the day goes on. They will usually serve you their awesome eggs Benedict any time of the day even if they're no longer cooking off the breakfast menu. It's one of the better places to enjoy a poached egg in the city. They also have some more locally inspired brunch options. The salads and wrap sandwiches are not quite as gourmet as the prices would lead you to believe, but the atmosphere generally makes up for it. In the past I had some issues with service being slow and forgetful, but they've changed the waitstaff lineup and since then I've had a great time. They often have someone who can speak English if needed. The patio space is dog friendly. And the downstairs of the indoor space has super comfy seating for a chat over coffee or relaxing drink after work. read more

I was disappointed by how much food quality varies from one visit to the next. Got the same pollo con guacamole dish o had gotten before (and was looking forward to) and got some Prett burned up dried up chicken this time (see my photos from first and second visit). Very disappointing indeed. No consistency even on the same week. read more

My co-worker and I were wandering one evening trying to decide where to eat. With so many choices in the area, it can be difficult to decide! As we walked past Santo Grao, the ambience looked amazing so we decided to stop. We managed to get a seat outside on the side of the restaurant, so we could enjoy the weather without the noise level of the front. Fortunately for us, they had English menus so we didn't have to pull out our phones and Google Translate. But that also meant our first waitress had a very difficult time understanding what we wanted to order. I think the hand-off to other wait staff didn't go as smoothly as they would hope, as it took quite a while before we were able to place our orders. When the food arrived, we were very pleased. As others have noted, it can be a little pricey for what you get, but everything was well prepared and the presentation was nice. I order the focaccia appetizer (mostly because I wanted to try the hazelnut "butter") and my co-worker ordered the bruschetta. Both were good, but the bruschetta really needed a little acidity, like maybe a small drizzle of balsamic vinegar. My chicken dish was tender, juicy and very enjoyable and my co-worker loved the stuffed eggplant; it was huge and way better than she expected. Overall, a pleasant dining experience and somewhere I wouldn't object to revisiting, but not somewhere to visit if you're in a hurry. read more

Came here to meet up a HS friend for late dinner since it was close to my hotel. It's in a pretty convenient location walking wise and it's close to club Provocateur as well as other bars and clubs. We didn't have reservations but a table was open outside so we sat outside under the large canopy umbrellas. I ordered their sangria and was craving ice cream so that was what I had. We also tried caprese salad and others in the group ordered actual food. The sangria was a large glass of delicious-ness and the vanilla ice cream really hit the spot. I didn't try the other food, but was told everything was delicious as well. I think this place is great to chill and drink to get your night started. Lots of eye candy here too! :) read more

Amazing place for brunch. Their caipirinhas are on point. We had the Carpaccio, bruchetta and facaccio. They were excellent , very fresh, great flavor. The restaurant is located in one of the nicest areas in Sao Paulo, Highly recommended! read more

A really nice place to grab a 'quick' coffee or if you have the time, to sit down and fully enjoy their menu. It includes a broad selection of brunch dishes from excellent smelling cheese sandwiches, granola yogurts, to anything with scrambled eggs or fruit. Add to that an amazing selection of coffee. If that was not enough why not top it off with one of the best fresh fruit juices you are likely to ever have. Very friendly staff doing a good job keeping you happy in English too. read more

Santo Grão in Itaim Bibi has quickly become one of my favorite spots in São Paulo. The food is consistently excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really impressed me was how well they handled my food allergy. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure my meal was safe without compromising on taste or quality. Como posso avaliar melhor uma empresa que poderia atuar para minimizar o sofrimento animal e incentivar o tratamento digno aos animais e nada faz. Para isso bastaria o Santo Grão assumir um compromisso público de cessar a utilização de ovos de galinhas confinadas em toda sua cadeia produtiva.
