Philly cheesesteak
Jay G.

One of the few places open on a Sunday night in town and the staff are friendly but the food is mostly just average. The cheesesteak was a little better tasting than it looks with their house sauce.

Super combo sub. Only 1 piece of ham, 1,1/2 piece of turkey and 1/4 piece of roast beef.

Very skimpy sun and horrible spaghetti sauce. It was just supposed to be spaghetti with marinara sauce on the side not meat sauce. Service was good. Food horrible.

Would rather buy a frozen pizza from Walmart than eat here. The pizza just isn't that good. Pizza is Covered in grease. Also, Roaches crawling around just doing their thing. Very out of date seating and tables.

Nasty lonely wings, waste of money

Personal pizza looked supermarket bought and heated. Not as good as other pizzerias we've tried in Horry County.

I have been going to Santino's for years. The Service is good. Everyone has a great attitude. Food is served fresh out of oven.

Good food but not so good service. VERY casual and is a "hang out'. Pizza is great.

A very long wait for delivery (may be due to Saturday arrivals/multiple delivery orders) but the pizzas were not hot and not what we expected when delivered. Adequate tasting pizza. The Deets: We usually get pizza our first night arriving in Holden Beach and this time was not different. However, this time we decided to go with trying some place new in Sorella Pizza & Pasta (I would have preferred a pasta/meal from here but house ruled pizza, I go with the flow). Choices were made with the Hawaiian Punch 16" pizza (ham, pineapple, bacon, shredded mozzarella, tomato sauce from online menu) and the Holden Beach Hammer 16" pizza (online menu described as their "everything" with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, black olives, tomato sauce). I can understand that Saturday arrival can be a busy day for restaurants doing delivery and it was explained that it would take a long while. But it was at least an hour and half or more, and the house was getting restless. The delivery person apologized for the long wait time and we appreciated that. When we opened up the two pizzas, first of all noticed they were not hot. Again, there were a lot of deliveries I am guessing but it definitely was not hot and with it being just down the road a bit, a bit disappointing. The Hawaiian Punch pizza was the one that did not really meet everyone's expectations. The crust, while thin, seemed to be a bit underdone. If I get a thin crust pizza, I do expect it to be crispy as well. Also the toppings were a bit underwhelming as well but I found the taste adequate for being hungry, I had a couple of slices. The Holden Beach Hammer pizza was more of a rectangular pizza in appearance and the crust was significantly thicker and more doughy (personally, not my favorite type of pizza crust). The toppings seemed OK but not over generous for what was described, however tasted adequate again. It may be chalked up to a very busy Saturday arrival day time, but I feel this delivery pizza experience was more around an "OK" one if anything. I am hoping to try Sorella in the future where I can get one of the Italian pasta or meal menu selections to see how they do with those.

We love this place food is AMAZING. Come try for yourself…read more Crew & Owner is OUTSTANDING. The girls are so sweet and friendly

Located on the end of the small strip mall anchored by a Food Lion, the restaurant is easy to find…read more There is plenty of parking, all across a traffic lane. A handicapped space is relatively close to the door. There is a small step up to the sidewalk at the entrance. There are two entrances to the restaurant. The one on the right enters into the bar area which includes the seating area as well. The left entrance is for picking up to go orders. The area is small so can get crowded. We had placed an order by phone and were greeted soon after entering. We had arrived a bit before we were told the order would be ready so were not surprised when we were told it would be a few minutes before everything was completed. We waited another ten minutes or so to receive our food. The entrees were well packaged inside a plastic container which was placed inside a styrofoam to go box. This was a very nice touch and well appreciated. The pizza was in a typical cardboard box. The Mambo Italiano included a decent amount of sausage and pepperoni over a bed of spaghetti. The sausage and pepperoni were slightly spicy, as advertised. The flavor was good, and the marinara was fine. I would have preferred more, but it was possible to get some in every bite. The spaghetti was cooked properly. The Pasta Giovanni was very good. There was plenty of perfectly cooked chicken included. The pasta was also cooked perfectly. There was quite a bit of oil on the bottom of the container but this could be avoided easily. Overall, the entrees were a good amount of food for a fair price. The Rockefeller pizza was also very good. The pizza included a good amount of shrimp and certainly did not seem skimpy at all. The flavors were somewhat muted under the garlic, but overall the pizza was very good. Although this was out first trip to Christopher's it will not be our last.
