Thanks to my friend for recommending this hotel - lovely & charming, and it's an old 18th century palace house. We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite on the roof - which offered a great view of other nearby rooftops :) Front reception staff Antonio and the lady who works at night - both very welcoming, friendly & helpful; they speak English well. The hotel feels safe too - all guests must enter a code on the security keypad at the front door to enter.
Rooms are very clean & spacious. Our room had two twins next to each other. Beds were comfy. Lights & air/heat only work when you insert your key card. Free WIFI. Room doesn't provide cups/glasses, fridge, or coffeemaker. However water & hot tea is available next to the lobby. Bathroom has a bidet, nice shower but the cold/hot water is separate controls so frustrating to get the temperature just right. Shower has soap & shampoo dispensers, and soap dispenser next to the sink - green tea scent is wonderful :) The floor feels like marble and a bit slippery - so be careful :)
Breakfast is 10 euros, and starts at 8:30am. Buffet includes fruit, donuts, cake, meats, breads, eggs. I found the sitting area very cold b/c there is an open roof ... it's winter time :)
Hotel is very convenient to restaurants, shops, and major sightseeing - e.g., Las Setas de Sevilla, Sevilla Cathedral, Royal Palace Alcazar, ... a longer walk to the Plaza de Espana. Sevilla is the perfect walking city. We walked everywhere.
About a 20-min taxi or Uber ride to the airport - taxi fare about 24 or 29 euros, and Uber is 14 euros.
The USD/Euro exchange rate is great so the hotel price was super reasonable. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. read more
