I needed…read moreto get my transmission fluid and filter replaced for my warranty, it was a mistake on my part I did not catch the due mileage in time and went over a bit. I do get my oil changed every 3000 miles when warranty requires 5000 because I do take care of my truck, too expensive not too. Well they said they would "misread" my mileage so it would keep my warranty valid. I dropped by on Monday to make sure my truck would be services on Friday as it was when they could schedule me in, they did not tell me they would accommodate my request then or at our first conversation either. Picked it up on Friday and the counter guy said he could not change the milage because it was wrong to do so. But lying to me that he would is quite acceptable in his mind apparently. The owner came over and started telling me about its a battle repeatedly until I told him we are not in a battle we have a disagreement that's all. He raised his voice and kept telling in about its a battle in business and I don't understand and kept ranting on and on. I told him it was ultimately my fault because I missed the milage but I would have gone somewhere else that would done my request. If I wasn't able to find another company I would have just done it myself because it would be out of warranty anyway and save myself $660 which was my bill, pretty excessive actually.

They just said it was getting older and just makes noise. Newman's figured out what the noise was and fixed it. We also had them put on new Shocks, Struts and new headlight assemblies. Our car runs like its on rails again. Very professional and friendly. Didn't try to up sell me anything like most mechanics will do. Payment methods and branding were discussed between both parties, and at no point were concerns formally raised or resolved before payment was withheld. If there were issues or misunderstandings, we were and still are open to addressing them professionally. Unfortunately, after the work was completed, our calls and emails went unanswered, and the agreed-upon payment was not made. We would prefer to resolve this directly and professionally rather than through public comments.

I understand that one of them was to dispose of the old tire. That's OK. But the next one was after hours cost. I asked told the mamnger I picked up my car today. I was told it was ready. Heard the guy whispering to another guy when I got there that he may need to jump it to start it after starting the car I say the same things coming up on my dash i question the guy about it and he shrugged it off. I asked if it was good to drive and he said yes . paid $355 got down the road and the entire car cut off on me in the heavy traffic. I called the manager and asked why didn't he fix it. I took it elsewhere since that was insane to me and come to find out the previous dealership has put a GPS locator on it and for some reason that day after driving it and owning it outright for over a year, the GPS was activated and it would not start, it took the other mechanic about 4 hours to figure out the issue and I was charged $35 to take it off. I would of likely paid upwards of $500 if I would have allowed Prothro to look at my vehicle. I can not imagine why anyone would use their services.
