I was directed to the fitting room by an employee and started changing normally. I wasn't wearing a bra, so I was already partially undressed when I noticed the small sign pictured above the mirror stating, "You are being watched by Karma Camera." I was honestly extremely uncomfortable and didn't know what to do. There was nothing explaining what a "Karma Camera" was, whether the sign was serious, or whether someone could actually see or record the changing area. I stood there for a while trying to figure out what it meant before eventually finishing changing while trying to keep myself covered as much as possible. My mom later went back to the store because I was still so distressed by the experience. She asked an employee about the sign and was told that there is not actually a camera and that an employee put the sign up as a way to scare people out of stealing. I'm obviously relieved by that explanation, and I want to include it here so I'm not implying that I have evidence anyone was actually being recorded. However, I still find the sign and especially its placement incredibly inappropriate. It's inside a designated space where customers are expected to remove their clothing, and nothing about the sign indicates that it's a bluff or a joke. My mom was uncomfortable with it as well, and there was a young child using the changing room before her when she returned. I have personal reasons that the possibility of being watched or recorded while undressing is particularly upsetting to me, and this experience caused me a significant amount of distress. I really wish the store would reconsider using this particular method of theft deterrence in a changing room. I'm attaching the photo mainly so other customers--especially anyone with privacy concerns or past experiences that could make something like this triggering--can see exactly what is posted and make an informed decision before entering the changing room and undressing.

We like to host at the park by our house which is way up in Evergreen, and they only charge a small fee for that extra driving. I really appreciate their willingness to work with us even though we aren't in there included area. The characters are out of this world--they really love what they do. They don't just show up and walk around, they play games. We had two princesses come one year and they taught the kids how to be princesses for an hour. This year we had Spiderman along with a princess and they played hide and seek and red light green light, then had the kids make magical wishes. Seeing all the kids absolutely lose their minds running to the characters is hilarious. I also want to point out that they have never cancelled on a party. As someone who depends on them for a core part of the entertainment, this is critical. I absolutely love this group. The only thing I will say, is you have to watch your junk folder. This isn't their fault though so it doesn't impact the review at all, and when I called back in, they were able to guide me to the email that had further details on our party.

I checked out their website and chose a character that I knew my granddaughter would love! The owner, Jacqueline, responded quickly and was so helpful and professional. She sent over the contract and PayPal invoice so I could pay the deposit and submit the necessary paperwork to secure our request. Unfortunately, due to the archaic operating system on my computer, I was unable to submit payment through PayPal. I called them and they told me, no problem, they would come to me to collect the contract and deposit!!! I can't explain what a big help this was, as I was planning a soon to be 4 year olds birthday party in just a few weeks and had so much on my mind already!! Jump to the day of the party, we received a morning confirmation text of our chosen characters arrival. He arrived on time and greeted the kids. Some loved him, some were scared, but he handled it all with ease. He made sure to include everyone, played games and danced, took picture after picture and had energy left over!
