Queda en el casco urbano de Bayamón y tanto puedes llegar a pie como en transportación pública. Amplio estacionamiento. Tienen un montón de años establecido y a mi entender ninguna tienda es una ancla sino que es un centro con una combinación de tiendas y servicios. El Huracán María 2017 lo destruyó en gran parte pero resurgió como el Águila y ahora es otra cosa con todo nuevo por dentro. Caminar por sus pasillos es una sensación distinto a la monotonía de otros centro comerciales.

Came during the week on a Tues and it was not too crowded, which was a welcome treat as I do not like shopping malls at all (nor shopping in general). I really enjoyed this mall, though, as it has a bit of everything including some non USA stores. Mall doesn't look like much from the outside and you cannot tell (at least from our entrance) that it looks like a mall until you get outside. Very clean, upscale, and has something for everyone.

I guess I'm spoiled because I live near Plaza Las Americas, The Mall of San Juan, and San Patricio Plaza. This mall, although nice, is not worth going out of my way... well, except for the Marshall's. I loved this Marshall's. What I didn't like was the food court. It is spacious, but about half of the stands were either vacant or closed. Leaving a sad amount of options. Luckily, there are several good options on the outside. There is also a Caribbean Cinemas. In addition to the Marshall's Megastore, this mall has a Best Buy and TJ Maxx.

I think the East is among the better Asian restaurants in the area, and Aliss has nice Christmas decorations. The House at this location is smaller and more low key than the other two.

What it does have it the surrounding area. Whether officially or unofficially, the nearby businesses are considered to be part of Plaza Guaynabo. That means places like Planet Fitness, Capri, Aliss, The House, East Asian Bistro, Buns Burger Shop, and the Caribbean Cinemas. The reason I come here is for the cinema, Buns, East, and The House. Also, nearby is Natas, a small coffee shop that sells Portuguese natas (very delicious). In other words, it's the food and entertainment that makes this area worth it, not the shopping (a least for me).

I did find that it was a comparable to other boutiques back in Florida. It's the 11% tax that is annoying. The upstairs has El Mercado and it is literally an upscale food court. I wish I could've eaten here every single day I stayed in San Juan. There were many different options such as Chinese, Italian, and Hispanic foods. There was a really fun bar up there, as well as a crêpe maker. I ate at Finco and it was delicious I will definitely make it a priority to eat there more than once next time around. There was live music on Friday and there is a Fogo De Chao as well as a blue martini.

In the Village you can find restaurants such as Bottles (one of my favorite restaurants), Wilo's Eatery & Bar, Cayo Caribe, Tijuana's, Ikebana Sushi, and more... plus a few fast food options. There are also stroes such as Party City, Office Depot, and Pet Smart. As for the mall itself, it is not very big. Plaza las Americas and The Mall of San Juan are far bigger. Here you can find TJ MAxx, Bed Bath and Beyond, Walgreens, Capri, and a few other smaller stores. The Big Kmart shut down a few years ago.You can also find specialty stores like Metro Comics, Teatrocentro (dancewear, theatrical makeup, and costumes), and Don Rey Cigar Shop. The food court is small and unimpressive. The best thing the mall has going for it is the newly renovated cinema. It has been turned into a VIP Cinema with a full bar, lobby lounge, recliner seats with foot rests, and and good food. It's great and not that expensive. Overall, San Patricio Plaza is decent. It's not my 1st or 2nd choice for shopping. However, it is my 1st choice for movie going. Also, San Patricio Village is a nice concept that provides good food options.

My senior year, my friends and I would come here during lunch period to eat at the food court and play in the arcade room, which was huge. Some things have changed. That arcade room is now a Claro store. The arcade room is now by the cinema where the bookstore and coffee shop used to be. The new bookstore is on the other side of the pedestrian walkway, near the parking structure. And the cinema got an upgrade to a VIP Cinema. This was always the main reason. To come here and now it is better with recliner seats, gourmet food, and a bar/lounge area. The food court has generally stayed the same, with some minor changed in eateries. It's never been that great, but it beat eating at school. Most of the stores are on the ground floor. The main attraction at this mall was the Kmart, but they closed about 3 years ago. It seems they will remodel the space and create what will be called The Square. No idea when they plan to have it ready by. The lower level always had the sucky stores (at least I thought they sucked), except for Teatrocentro. But now they moved to the ground level, and Metro Comics moved down to the lower level. Shopping was never the reason I came here. Every now and then I come here to check things out but I prefer Plaza for shopping. San Patricio Plaza, together with Galeria San Patricio (across the street) and some surrounding stores/restaurants form San Patricio Village.

At least 30 percent of the inside shopping center were vacant store fronts. The IMAX theater was HORRIBLE!! we had to wait on the line for 45 minutes (not a second less) just to buy some popcorn. Again, it could be the NY mentality, because the locals seemed just fine with waiting this long. Unacceptable. There should at least be more than one option to purchase movie tickets, rather than being tortured to wait on line. They are FAR behind with technology.
