We visited this outlet mall on the pass through to rain forest. This mall just located on the east of Airport and next to highway Route 66. That's the reason this mall name after the route. There is plenty parking space for the mall. We went in the mall from the mid sections. It is a huge play ground for the kid with Tree Hopper like aerial adventure items. A lot parent was waiting below the park. Kid love it. This mall has a lot of metal like statues shape like the robot in transformers movie. These statues were showcase through tout the mall. The mall also has a indoor Grand Prix for the kid and adults. The food court is small. But do have something you may want. The visit take 1.5 hours to visit. Love the concept and store. But I don't see too much of discount. read more

Service was good and the place was very clean and nice. Not too many name brand stores but the ones that were there were good, but I went looking for the Nike store and found out they were not there anymore for over a year so of course I was disappointed! Part mall, part fun zone. There is lots to do here, a little bit for everyone. If you want to shop there's a good amount of stores to choose from, like Perry Ellis, Nautica, Adidas, Sketchers, Burlington, Van Hausen, Aeropostale, etc... but the main attraction here is the entertainment. It is kind of like being at a theme park. Throughout the entire mall are statues so you can take pictures. Caribbean Cinemas has a movie theater here, the is a Just 4 Fun playground, and the best part is the Sector Sixty6 zone which has a go kart race track, bowling, arcade mania , and an obstacle course, all indoors. This is a great place to spend with the family, especially on rainy days; the kids will love it. There is a food court, a newly opened Golden Corral (only one in PR), and even some food trucks outside by the entrance of the mall. Obviously, gets packed on the weekends so parking can be a pain, even if they have lots of parking. read more

After dropping off my in laws at the airport my husband and I were looking to do someting. We thought about taking our son to a playground. Because of the weather we thought an indoor playground would be best. We've taken our son to the Just 4 Fun playground in Plaza Carolina. Out kid loves that one. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach them to see if they were open. Fortunately, they have a location at the Outlet 66 Mall in Canóvanas (not far from Carolina). They were open, so we went there. I hadn't been to this mall in over a decade. It has changed a lot. There are different stores from what I remember and there are more games and fun things to do, such as go karts, arcades, bowling, a movie theater, Just 4 Fun. And they have tons of statues. It seems kind of like a theme park. We had lunch at the food court then over to the playground. Our son had a blast. Very much worth it. We will be returning. read more

The outlet ain't bad has an arcade and a few things kids can do a ton of stores to shop a food court it's a decent size

This was a big mall that we were told had lots of amusement options. The drive over was about 20 minutes from Isla Verde. Traffic wasn't too bad. The parking at the mall was full as many were out shopping for the holidays. We found parking near Burlington and entered through their entrance. The mall has a go cart spot, arcade and movie theater. There are many places to eat and hang out in the mall. We are enjoyed some popcorn and Chinese while we people watched and shopped for several hours. The mall was crowded as I mentioned earlier but pretty clean. I didn't notice any litter or overspilt garbage cans. The shopping in the mall is limited. Besides Burlington there weren't any other big name stores located at this location that appealed to me. read more

Such a disappointment. This mall is not even close to what it was when it first opened. First, lots of stores have left and now several spaces are just empty. Second, it was invade by several entertainment businesses (bowling allay, bumper cars and arcade). This might work for some people but it is not my cup of tea. If you are looking for an true outlet mall you might want to stop by Prime outlets in Barceloneta, PR. This mall might be a couple hours away but you will certainly not leave empty handed just like I did today. read more

I really enjoyed shopping here because they had a lot of stores that I shop at. Its not exceptionally large but I found the selection ample. The parking was a little scarce on a Saturday afternoon (but it was Father's Day weekend too). Its a standard mall style setup with a food court. I spent about $200 and bought stuff that I thought was worth packing my suitcase with. I felt I did find some deals that would be hard to find back at home. Gotta have some retail therapy on vacation! Three stars for selection.... just about the same old stuff you can find in California... only difference a sprinkle of no name el cheapo clubbin clothe stores. You know, stuff you find at BASIC or Papaya but far more hoochie! That's how they roll in Puerto Rico! I left with one bag... snagged some nice Nike Shox for $39! My Mom and the Aunties went clearance happy at Liz Claiborne. The food court was unique... note to self... don't expect to have authentic locale eats at the mall food court! It was decent but... I'm sure it could have been better. We had this Cassava stuffed Chicken that was pretty good! The black beans and rice was dry... When you're on an island that has all this old world charm to it with amazing landscapes to distract you, you often forget that it is part of the United States. That is until you come to the intersection of Route 66 & Route 3. Then there is this giant outlet mall simply known as "The Outlet @ Route 66" It has all your typical stores like Guess, Gap, Nike, CK, Sunglass Hut, and others that you find at any outlet mall on the mainland. The mall has a slightly worn & forgotten feel to the inside, however everyone here is certainly warm and inviting. If you're the type to spend hours in an outlet mall this one certainly won't disappoint. However for me it was simply the same as any other large outlet mall found elsewhere with nothing special to draw you to make a purchase. read more

Nice shopping option between San Juan and destinations east, such as the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar. Several moderate level designer clothing options and it's small but modern and being updated. It has a lot of fun entertainment options. Bowling, movie theater, car racing, many advanced sit in computer games and very large modern arcade. read more

It's an outlet mall. Just like the ones back on the mainland. Food court has plenty of great-smelling options. There are lots of familiar stores to choose from. I personally enjoyed the amazing service at the Polo outlet, but everyone everywhere was friendly. Great deals all around. If you're in the mood for some discount shopping, this is a great place to go. If you're looking for an authentically-PR shopping experience, don't bother. read more

We stopped by this place coming from El Yunque and going back home. I came in here with thinking that I was going to walk out without anything and I was unimpressed with the outdoor appearance of the mall. Once I went inside I noticed that the mall was clean and well-kept. I walked into many stores and everyone was very nice and ready to help. I also found great deals there that I would normally find back home in the states so I bought a few things. I would come back if I'm in the area! read more

We stopped on the way back from El Yunque which was our first disappointment as trails were still closed due to hurricane. So we decided to stop here on way back to hotel. We almost didn't because from the highway, it looked abandoned. At the last minute, my husband made a quick left and we decided to see if it was open. Very shabby looking from outside. Upon entering, it was almost a ghost town (for Puerto Rico). Let me just say I lived on the island for 9 years and Puerto Ricans LOVE to shop. They are lined up at Plaza before it opens. Never have I ever seen any kind of shopping mall or store so devoid of people like this one. Inside, like all Puerto Rican malls, is nice. Actually, many are beautiful. There were several works of sculpture inside. But it looked like several stores had left. A few stores were closed possibly because it was July 4th. There was absolutely nothing special about this mall. My husband was looking for a pair of sneakers but found nothing. Nike was bolted shut and nothing in Burlington or Skechers. We weren't hungry but if we had been, there did seem to be good choices for food. read more

I liked this outlet as it is indoors and cool. It's unusual but they have a full on gym in this outlet mall. I would definitely work out at this place if I lived here. They have awesome deals at the stores so it depends on the timing and specials. Reebok was giving a special where you can buy anything and the next 2 items are free. read more

The outlet at Canovanas is basically a standard American Outlet Mall. Mostly comprised of regular known retailers, but there are a few stand alone Rican spots. The Nike and Guess Stores are pretty nice. Its a great place to stop if you're traveling out to Yunque or Fajardo... read more

Pretty close to average American outlet mall, only with much worse parking. We did take a random visit to the food court to try The Hot Potato - a big potato covered in tasty cheese sauce and bacon bits for 3 bucks, which we enjoyed while a cockfight played on the food court TV. OK that part is a little different from the average outlet mall. The slice pizza from Reggio, the place next to it, was awful, stuffed with tasteless sausage and pepperoni - strange because you can get some pretty good pizza on the island. read more

This is where you will find anything and everything!!! BEst stores, best shopping, Great selection of restaurants... Movie theaters!!! Banks, jewelry stores...best place to go at all times with family, friends etc...always fun and close to everything. Xmas season is the best offers. I always go when in town! read more
