Caribbean Cinemas has a movie theater here, the is a Just 4 Fun playground, and the best part is the Sector Sixty6 zone which has a go kart race track, bowling, arcade mania , and an obstacle course, all indoors. This is a great place to spend with the family, especially on rainy days; the kids will love it. There is a food court, a newly opened Golden Corral (only one in PR), and even some food trucks outside by the entrance of the mall. Obviously, gets packed on the weekends so parking can be a pain, even if they have lots of parking.

It is less upscale than Plaza and has more bargain stores. Stores are typical regional mall american stores with some local stuff (Capri, MeSalve, Kress). Food Court has great variety to choose from. Full service restaurants include Pizza Hut and Chili's. Unfortunately, there are no cinemas currently. Anchor's stores are Sears, JCPenney, Best Buy, TJMaxx, Forever 21, and Capri (local discount department store). Right outside is a Econo Supermarket and a Walgreens. So basically, its a good mall. Its not as massive or classy as Plaza Las Americas, but at 200+ stores, its still a great mall. It has a good balance between different types of stores and its much easier to navigate than Plaza since it's not as huge. Plaza Carolina is close to SJU airport and the Isla Verde hotels.

I'm looking thru the front window and an SUV rolls up and the guys yells, "they're closed, but should be open soon." It was the owner and he came over, unlocked the store and let us in. This place had an amazing selection of liquor and wines. Local and imports. They had a a great selection of crystals, hand crafted soaps, incense, jewelry, hand crafted art and so much more. They had some of the traditional tourist swag, but it was minimal, most of the store is filled with hand cultivated, quality products. . I got my daughter a beautiful rose quartz stone mounted on a stand. My son got a mini hand carved teak chess set (for only $45!!). I got my parents some local infused rum (was hard to decide from the big selection of options; guava, coco, piña, and so many more). Also got the kids some geodes to smash. They looked the same in the outside, but were each completely different on the inside. The owner is a Brooklyn transplant and he's the nicest guy ever. We solicited his opinions and he was a straight shooter, telling us his honest opinions and making great recommendations. He and his wife operate the store and you can feel the love the there. I stumbled upon this souvenir store, the Souvenir Depot, while walking to Stone Cold Creamery…read more It's funny because they have the same or similar items as in the Old San Juan area, but at lower prices since it's not in the touristy cruise ship area. For example, the same hats in the Old San Juan district were $24.99, but at this shop they were $14.99, and at the airport they were $29.99. Magnets were $12 for 4 or $12 for 3, depending on the type you wanted. I saw magnets in Old San Juan for $6.99-$7.99 each and at the airport for $8.99-$9.99 each. The bottom line is that most everything is made in China, Thailand, or elsewhere, not in Puerto Rico, so does it really matter which store or where you got it? No, not really. On a side note, it's lame to give a business one or two star because their hours aren't updated on some random webpage that isn't associated with the business. Do better, Yelpers.
