I don't think you'll find a vet who is nicer and cares more about the health and well being of his patients.

This is to express enduring appreciation to our vet, Dr. Hadley Warwick, for his informed, common…read moresense, loving care of our corgi Daisy. Under his watch, she stayed healthy and perky, but her final battle with IVDD could not be countered, so we relied on him to send her home. The room was set up with subdued lighting and a plush covering on the table provided for comfort. Slowly, and over a period of almost an hour, he entered and left the room, patiently administering the medications to allow her to gently drift away in peace. Although the loss was heartbreaking, it was the most peaceful euthanasia of a pet I have experienced. Afterward, he assisted as I carried her to the car and gave me a hug. From the attention Dr. Warwick gave our pet--in life and in death--it is obvious he loves his work and his clients. We are grateful. God bless him and his wonderful staff for helping us through this deep loss and for the personal care, attention and dignity they continue to offer to the families and furry friends of our community.

Love this team! We just switched after going through three different offices (all in South Olathe…read moreand Spring Hill). Our standard poodle has suffered for three years with allergies and asthma and all three vets we went to just kept saying to give Benadryl and Zyrtec or Claritin and we kept reporting that it wasn't working!!! So happy to have found our new veterinarian. He listened, treated our sweet girl and by the next day she was like a new dog. Like others have stated, the office isn't new and flashy but who cares when all you want is for you babies to be treated well and for someone to actually listen to your concerns.

I felt like Dr. Meerdink didn't know my pets or truly listen to me. She confused our 8 month old cat (who she had seen multiple times several months before) for our new 4 month old kitten. She asked if the older cat was our new cat. When our older cat slowly lost his ability to walk, Dr. Meerdink was unhelpful in her (non) diagnoses. After medication did not help, I called her and she said she didn't know what else to do for him, without running any bloodwork or anything. Dr. Meerdink gave my cat a shot for his pain, she told me it was prednisone one day and the next she said it was cortisone, when in fact it was neither of these medication. As we repeatedly took our cat to the vet for his walking issues it took her nearly a month to run any bloodwork. This place charged us over 450 dollars for some eye medication and to tell us that his bloodwork was normal and they couldn't help. The only good thing this place has done for us is to refer us to Mission Emergency and Specialty, a place that charged less and provided more. I will not be returning here unless I want to be ripped off and receive poor care for my pet.
