She's so kind & always asks me how I am doing? The nurses are always amazing, awesome, patient & kind especially Daisy & Melissa in Unit 3 The Director of Social Services Rafael is awesome! He's always so patient even with an extremely busy schedule! He is always walking the halls making his rounds with the patients. He is very professional & courteous. Teresa Martinez the Activities coordinator is so fun! She loves To dance & sing! I am delightfully and surprisingly impressed with Ramona Nursing & Rehab. It is such a relief to know my father is with trusted and caring professionals. Almost everyone, even people in different stations, know my father by name. They staff will smile, greet you, and tend to your request quickly. They have a great team of healers including PT, OT, Speech therapy. And the administration is friendly as well. They are proactive and patient. The facility is clean and organized. Though the building is old and dated, you can see the effort they put in to keep it as comfortable as possible. Parking lot is always full weekdays. Weekends are much better, less staff at the facility, so more time for visitations.

She ended up needing a g-tube placed and even with that, she ended back at the hospital, twice, because she would pull it out. With as much staff as they have, I feel this could have been avoided. She ended up regaining her ability to eat with therapy, over time. Their physical, occupational, and speech therapy are exceptional! Their speech therapist really demonstrates care and improving patient's independence. Social services and nursing is a joke! Gabriela Lucatero was point of contact in their social services department and there was no support or guidance. I ended up having to reach out to my mom's doctor to make her aware of the situation. Seems like Gabriela didn't really care for my mom's doctor, so when it came time to get my mom's discharge paperwork ready, I literally, had to do it my self as Gabriela always said, "it is difficult to get a hold of the doctor since she's not really here" - I don't see how, if I was able to get a hold of her, I'm sure she could have too. It seems like social services and nursing run that facility and they like it that way. When I let them know I was in contact with Dr. Zhang, they went all wide eye as if they didn't think I would've done that. The charge nurse at my mom's station (who gives the medicine) has the nastiest look on her face. Often times I would crack a smile, hoping she would smile back, but all I got was a sour face. And felt a bit of judgment coming off her. CNAs were wonderful and they were the light in that place! Activities were also amazing! They played bingo, had winning prizes, play music, movies, did nails. My mom had her nails done every week. They were awesome!

The kitchen has adjusted her meals, the RNs/LVNs, DNAs, RNAs, Social Workers, Physical Therapists, Finance Office, Laundry dept, cleaning crew, maintenance staff and Management (sorry if I miss anyone) this staff has been so nice and helpful regarding my mother's every needs. They always keep the family, me and my sister, informed. In fact, my mothers' roommate (patient) told me that she never wants to leave the Manor. She loves staying at the Manor because everyone there are so very nice with her and tends to her needs. I give Suset Manor and all who work there: 5 stars *****. :)

I'm so blessed to have my 94 year old mom residing here. It was the most difficult decision to…read moreplace her in an assisted living facility. Mom resided with my family for over two decades. As her dementia and alzheiner's has progressively worsened and needed 24/7 care. I had a meeting with her physician who recommended and assisted getting mom placed here. It's been over three months since she began residing with Mayflower. I'm estatic with the care, procedures, documentation and treatment she receives from the entire staff. In addition, the cleanliness of the facility is outstanding. Visiting hours for guests are flexible with appointments made within a few days notice and family is allowed to take her out for the day outings - with approval of their physician. I just had a 3 month review with her social worker and she informed me that mom saw a dentist, optometrist in addition, to receiving a flu & covid booster shot. The facility also has activities like game activities, physical therapy, dancing and even threw a Halloween costume luncheon - which mom couldn't stop raving about. If you're considering care of a loved one - I would highly recommend Mayflower Care Center.

Mandy and staff were welcoming and cheerful every time we visited, which was everyday for almost 3 years. The facility was always clean and fresh. My family member participated in all their daily activities with Brenda and Wendy. She was reluctant and shy at first but they became people she looked forward to seeing everyday. They became her family. They watched movies, painted nails, did crafts, exercised, played games, and cooked together. Her bedsheets were changed daily and her room was cleaned and disinfected daily as well. The cleaning staff is amazing. They were always happy to do their job. Nurses and health staff came in to see her frequently...oftentimes just to say hello and check-in. The nurses communicated with our family on a regular basis. They would check in to see us when we visited and always reminded us to feel free to reach out for anything we needed. We also got phone calls to inform us of any changes that were to come up. My aunt & majority of the family was fearful and reluctant to have her in a nursing facility initially. Pine became her home until she passed. Both she and we appreciate the kindness, nurturing embrace, and patience of the staff that accommodated her personality. She stopped asking to come home after she adjusted because they took such wonderful care of her. She was terrified of losing her bed ! Mandy was our lifeline throughout this roller coaster battling with health issues and always made sure my aunt was taken care of. We were reassured knowing she was under the care of staff at Pine & are forever grateful. They really changed my aunt's life & gave us peace as a family. During that time, your staff, including the facility's top management, was a highly trained and excellent team. Having visited many nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities in Los Angeles County, I have never encountered staff as kind as yours who always care for residents with a smile and warmth. The staff are consistently patient and responsible, from the rehabilitation room staff to every nurse, medication delivery person, diaper changer, room cleaner, and kitchen staff. Everyone I met was dedicated, kind, and compassionate. All your staff are exceptionally patient and loving, every day... At lunchtime and in the afternoon, in the dining hall where a group of elderly people gather to eat, I often witnessed touching acts of kindness. For those who were unable to care for themselves, your staff frequently helped them eat one by one, personally feeding them. Sometimes, when those being cared for were uncooperative, your staff always smiled and patiently helped them finish their meals. My mother-in-law has limited mobility; for the past three months, she has been eating, drinking, and using the toilet in bed. Your staff have been extremely attentive and patient in serving her. Because my mother-in-law is 93 years old and cannot chew food, the kitchen prepares her food daily using a blender. Additionally, a white lady named Viola Carreon in the dining hall's activity room knows that my mother-in-law wants coffee, and she brings it to her bedside every day. A tall, thin facility manager also frequently visits her room to check on her. In short, I have witnessed countless acts of kindness at your facility over these past few months. My grandmother has been here 2 times and we still do not hesitate to bring her back. Staff is very polite, nursing care is great, physical therapy is amazing she was able to recover fast from her fall recovery, and she was able to regain her mobility. Medications are always given on time, food is prepared according to her diet needs. Director of Nursing is very knowledgeable with many years of experience, Administrator is very involved with patients and family members, constantly doing room walk-ins and making sure we have everything we need. We get greeted with care and they treat our loved ones with care, most importantly, and there has never been any problems with my grandmother.
