Recently I went to watch the Hail Mary movie. There were people on their phones and talking while…read morethe movie was playing. Went to the staff and reported there were people disturbance. Nothing was done so I asked for a refund. What appeared to be a manager was reluctant to refund my money. She defended the kids causing the disturbance and asked if I didn't expect kids to be kids. My response was I expected the adults working there to rectify the problem. Clearly they need new management or new owners that care a customer left their business because they could not enjoy a movie they paid for. Born and raised here 60 years I've never had an experience like tonight. I will purchase this movie on Netflix or Prime to avoid being the problem even though all I did was to try to support a business I've seen hundreds of movie in, small town only offers one theater unfortunately. My advice is go to Mammoth theater where they appreciate your business.

I've been coming to Bishop, California to visit my grandma for my entire life and this was my first…read moretime being able to go to the movie theaters in town. It was such a wonderful experience and I wish that we have been doing it more often. We went to go see the new Wonka movie and the sound and picture were very good. I loved the Bishop history that played before the movie and it was a nice little touch. We ended up getting there a little early to make sure that we got good seats because they are not assigned and we were worried about our kids being able to see the screen. But they do have booster seats for kids that they were able to use if they could not see. I highly recommend to go and see a movie at this cute little theater.

What I got instead was a dealer who treated my losses like a personal comedy special. Every hand I lost was met with smirks, chuckles, and full-on laughter -- not subtle, not professional, but the kind of laugh you give when you want someone to feel stupid. Nothing says "hospitality" like being mocked while losing money. It gets worse. This same dealer actively pressured me to bet more, repeatedly pushing me to raise my wager like he was my financial advisor with a personal vendetta. "Come on, one more hand," "Double it," "You'll win it back" -- constant, uncomfortable, predatory commentary. I didn't come to be hustled by the person running the table. And then the cherry on top: He announced it was the "last shoe" -- only for me to later find out there were THIRTY MINUTES left before the table actually closed. Thirty. Minutes. The only explanation? He wanted to go home early and didn't care who he misled to do it. Lying to players to speed up your shift is next-level unprofessional. But wait -- there's more. * Cards were slapped down aggressively like the dealer was mad at me for losing * Zero table etiquette -- rules changed depending on his mood * Eye-rolling when I asked basic questions * A vibe so hostile it felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by existing * Management nowhere to be found, as if this behavior is completely normal here Casinos are supposed to be fun, exciting, and at the very least neutral. This felt like psychological warfare with chips involved. I've played blackjack in plenty of casinos. I've lost money before -- that's part of the game. What I've never experienced is being laughed at, pressured, lied to, and rushed out by a dealer who clearly had zero respect for players or the integrity of the table. Do yourself a favor: take your money, your time, and your dignity literally anywhere else. Wahaana Casino doesn't deserve any of the three.

It was really interesting to see the various exhibits that show how the…read morePaiute lived, gathered food, cooked, dressed, and planted (including a garden outside which explains the different plants and how they were used). The exhibit really goes into detail both in the examples and the text. The person working there when we visited was very helpful in explaining everything as well. Be sure to check out the board which tells about many of the events happening around the cultural center. I'm definitely looking forward to going back, especially if there's going to be an event!

However when I asked 1 of the dealers where my freind went who had been playing he said "a woman took him to the bathroom go rescue him". Then I looked & saw my buddy at a machine. Still not too bad.. But then on the way out another dealer mocked us on the way out (as we were drinking the free casino water) by saying thats some expensive water? Yes, I did tip the dealers. New name.... Same dealers & same adversarial vibe. Yeah all casinos take your $$ & gamblers should expect that but at least most other casinos hide that so that u can feel u had a good time in spite dropping $$. Not this place ... new casino name but same dealers & same vibe.
