If you can make appointments that work around traffic in that area, your visits are less stressful. Despite this, Dr. Fiona McCullough has been an amazing addition to my well-being and certainly throughout my pregnancy. She takes time to listen to your concerns, she is thoughtful in her communication and recommendations. She ensures that you are comfortable and continues to be accessible via email with any questions that you may have. I would recommend this clinic for yourself and your family!

Best I've felt in my whole life. It takes time to break out of the mentality of instant relief and gratification that we've built but you really start noticing a difference in your body. I love her because she teaches me along with helping and healing me. So i understand everything. On top of that, she's super patient and has a really calm, positive energy about her. Thats what you want in a doctor (unlike my GP). Since I've been seeing her - I have never had to go to my GP (except for blood tests) or even the walk in clinic (which used to be a monthly occurrence for me) because now I am armed with knowledge and know what to do. And also because Dr. Hans is always available to help. She's an amazing doctor. Incredibly professional and intelligent. Caring and supportive. She is always doing work after youre gone to help you. Youre not just a file number to her or a 15 min appt. She spends her time with you. If only all doctors could be like her.

She was referred to me by a friend, the only reason I would ever even consider something like this as an option. Long story short, I was developing a number of health problems related to stress and anxiety. Lei consulted with me on a number of occasions to help me with my wellness, that included acupuncture sessions (awesome!) and nutritional advice. Surprisingly, she used very SCIENTIFIC explanations for everything, and it all just made sense to me. I have also used her acupuncture services to relieve muscle pain. I recently had pulled my back and her needles worked tiny miracles. Definitely worth going to as a supplement to your regular doctor. It is worth it even if you aren't covered by insurance. If you are covered, what are you waiting for!?!

I visited Hands of Care with a Groupon for a 60-minute Hot Stone Massage Package, which included…read morethe hot stone massage, an indian head massage, and a face and scalp massage. Parking was an issue here, especially since it was small and most businesses reserved parking spots for their own customers. I honestly just parked in a random spot at the back that looked like a parking space but wasn't entirely sure. My biggest concern was getting a ticket or getting towed, but thankfully that didn't happen. I walked around the whole plaza since I wasn't sure where to access the unit from the back because there were no unit numbers, and then I realized the unit was for Sava Beauty Lounge. I asked one of the staff where Hands of Care was located and she showed me to the stairs to go downstairs. Just staring down from the top of the stairs, I felt welcomed and cozy since the lights were relaxing to look at as you walk downstairs. Ladan welcomed me at the front desk and asked for my voucher number. Unfortunately, my data was out for the month so I asked her if they had wifi to access the Groupon voucher and she was kind enough to provide me with it. She then asked me to fill out the information and consent forms. The space was well decorated that even if it's a rehabilitation centre, it has a spa feel to it as well. Ladan led me to the room and explained the next steps, which included changing, and once I was ready, she came back into the room where she explained the services. She was very kind and welcoming, plus she mentioned that the duration of the massage was for me to relax and she will limit her talking unless if I speak to her...which is great since I don't like talking during massages. The service was amazing. I told her most of my stiffness and pain is in my neck/upper back area and she focused on that, but was still able to get a full body massage in. I have never had a hot stone massage before, but after today, I fell in love! I enjoyed every part of the massage, and it felt like a bonus to even have my face massaged! I have worked at multiple clinics and spas and have tried massages around the GTA, but Ladan is amazing at what she does! She is very caring and also knowledgeable in what she does. I will definitely be coming back in the future. I have never felt so brand new after a one hour massage!

Suzanna is special for three reasons. First, she masters a range of fields of knowledge addressing health: from holistic nutrition and body care, to homeopathy, Chinese medicine and acupuncture (for instance). Secondly, Suzanna uses what best suits your health issue, either one technique, or a number of them combined. And third, and I think the most important, is that you have a say in your treatment. This means that Suzanne respects her clients' wishes, limitations and preferences; recognizing and empowering you as the most important person to promote your own health. We could not be happier with the results, and that is why we strongly recommend Suzanne as your naturopath!

I was very skeptical upon my first first well over a year ago, but half way through our discussion I was at ease. This is quite the feat as I am a very tightly wound individual who works in a high stress field. Suzanne was able to put me on a plan that fit my schedule as well as help me to develop much healthier habits to aid in my health. I have had difficulty with my energy levels as well as my sleep for over a decade. In less than a full 12 months Suzanne helped raise my energy level and most importantly through tintures (which I actually enjoyed!) SHE HAS FIXED MY SLEEP.This was something no doctor had been able to do. I had been to countless specialists and sleep clinics. Suzanne is very caring and helpful beyond words. I have heard of many alternative medicine practitioners and naturopaths that continually tell you to take pills, herbs and to visit them regularly without much explanation. Some not even telling you what is in the things you are given . Suzanne is forth coming about everything she suggests and goes into great detail on why it will be helpful. She does not have you come in repeatedly for unnecessary appointments just to make money. She truly cares about her clients and it shows in all she does. If I could rate her more stars I would! She is definately a leader in her field.

After years of various gut issues, anxiety, repetitive migraines, and chronic back pain - I had…read morefinally reached my breaking point. "*You* are going to a naturopath," I told my boyfriend. He met my glare with an enigmatic gaze but resigned himself to my incessant badgering. After initially reaching out to his former naturopath facility and failing to connect with anyone, I hit Google for Naturopath recommendations. Newmarket Naturopath was the first on the search results page, and after looking at a few other contenders - I decided Dr. Alexandra Lee and her practice were the winners and promptly booked her earliest available Saturday appointment. On appointment day, Dr. Lee greeted us upon entering with a warm smile and a clipboard with the intake form on it. She offered us water, tea and coffee while my boyfriend completed the form and was incredibly gracious. Once we were ready to go, I asked her whether I'd be permitted to enter the office too to receive some insight on what I can do on my end to help the success of my partner's health goals. Without missing a beat, she replied: "Absolutely!" I thought that would be the last of our interaction; this was my partner's appointment after all - but no. Throughout the entirety of the appointment, Dr. Lee made the recommendations and suggested exercises an inclusive experience, often extending the option to me to attempt the demonstrated exercises with my boyfriend. Since our initial appointment, my partner's back symptoms have been near non-existent thanks to the suggested stretches she tasked him with, and his various gut issues have been rendered more or less obsolete courtesy of the supplement treatment plan she's put him on. And perhaps even more startling - he has lost ten (welcomed) pounds. My boyfriend is no longer dependent on over the counter medicines to get him through every single day. (And I'm glad to not have to carry a whole pharmacy in my purse anymore.) To see the sheer jubilation on his face over being gut problem free, having no back pain, a substantial increase in mood and having his anxiety be reduced to a dull noise in the background provides me with an elation that I can't even begin to articulate into words. I cannot begin to thank Dr. Lee enough for returning my partner's body back to him and renewing his confidence. I'm looking forward to meeting with her for my own appointment in October. If you're looking for a naturopath who is warm, thoughtful and addresses your concerns and fears with an exceptional attention to detail - Dr. Lee and the Newmarket Naturopath practice is for you.
