STOP AND READ IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND HEALTH! I went to this business because previous reviews were highly rated and so I thought I could trust them and find a great chiropractor. WRONG!
I showed up at 3:45PM for my 4PM appointment. Immediately I was greeted by four people sitting behind a desk that handed me paperwork to complete (since it was my first time). After completing the paperwork another customer came in and said she had a 4PM appointment with Dr. Sang as well. I was a bit confused, because I had the same appointment, so I kindly asked the receptionist if Dr. Sang was overbooked. She told me "no, " and that I would get a massage before my service and that Dr. Sang would be ready after that.
I was led to a small room downstairs that was lined with 5 massage beds, which were all full of ppl (AWKWARD). Everyone was laying on these beds while a "rolling pin" device in the bed moves up and down your back. It was uncomfortable to say the least, medical treatments should be private right?? I mean I get my own room for a standard massage. At this point I was a little concerned, but I was hoping the appointment would be so great, that I would forget about this "factory-like" operation.
Once I was on the bed for 15 minutes, I asked the woman in the room where I should go next. She told me that I need an electric therapy treatment first, in the same room, two beds down. Meanwhile people are being shuffled in and out of this room, bumping into one another and being hovered over by multiple employees who (I am assuming) had different clients/responsibilities. Once I finished this 10 minute treatment, I am thinking that next I will see the chiropractor. RIGHT??? WRONG AGAIN!
I was then shuffled into another room with two "massage therapist (I use that title loosely) who had 10 minute mall timers and were working on ppl as the rest of us were sitting in folding chairs watching. STILL I WAS CALLING ON THE LORD'S PATIENCE. Patience is a virtue right?
Its now my turn for this mall treatment, I lay down on the bed and the gentlemen tells me I have big knots in my neck and there is nothing he can really do for me, with the 9 minutes allotted. WOW! All I wanted was my neck and back cracked.
Finally, after the 9 minute poke and prod I was told to go back upstairs to see Dr. Sang. Sitting, waiting, sitting, waiting, sitting waiting. By this time I checked the time and realized I had now been at this facility for AN HOUR AND A HALF and never saw the Chiropractor. I got up and asked the young lady how much longer he would be, "about 20 more minutes maybe?!?!?" she replies. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?
Appropriately, I told them I wasn't waiting a minute longer and I refused to pay for a service I never received. The woman simply said "okay." No apologies, no running to get an office manager or the doctor to save a client who could add significant revenue to the business...just a simple "okay."
I then asked the young lady for Dr. Sang's card so I could make sure he understood what his clients experience was....At first she looked puzzled, like this was the first time she had heard of such a thing... She asked me if I wanted the Insurance Providers information.....Hmmmm.... I dont think the insurance provider owned the business. I thought this was Dr. Sang's practice?!?!? When she finally realized that the business owner was the one who employed her, she handed me a card, but was quick to point out that none of the information was in English. THE BUSINESS CARD WAS IN CHINESE (could have been another Asian language)!!!
WOW! I am really disappointed that this business is run soo poorly. Dr. Sang I would suggest you re-evaluate your business model ASAP.My suggestion would be to 1st clearly articulate and inform the customer of your process. Had I known that I would be seen by 3 ppl before you and that it would be two hours before I saw you, I could have made a more informed decision about the time and energy I spent for the treatment I never received. Cut down the amount of ppl you see at ONCE! If not for long-term business growth, at least for moral integrity, you should have a mechanism in place to hear/escalate your customers satisfaction or experience. (other than the "review us on Yelp and we will give you a Starbucks card."
If you want a professional quality medical experience, I would NOT recommend this place at all! There are plenty of other places in the area that value their customers more, maybe even the mall kiosks. Sorry Dr. Sang but this was THE MOST disappointing Chiropractic experience I have had, and let's just say I have had quite a few, so I would consider my opinion valuable and just.
***FYI This is the first time I am leaving a YELP review, that's how strongly I felt about sharing this poor experience, so you (as the consumer) can be informed about what your spending your valuable time and money o read more
