The individuals involved include Dr. Hook and a front-desk receptionist Summary of Events On October 14, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., I received a text message from Bethesda Chiropractic Center confirming my appointment for October 16, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. I promptly confirmed the appointment, and the confirmation text is attached for reference. On October 16, 2025, I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. Upon checking in, I was informed that no appointment had been made for me. The receptionist spoke with Dr. Hook privately, and after a brief exchange, she returned and reiterated that I did not have an appointment. I showed her the official text confirmation; however, her response was not only dismissive but deeply inappropriate. Unprofessional and Discriminatory Remarks The receptionist proceeded to tell me, in a raised and confrontational tone, that the clinic was "refusing services" because I "complained about not getting [my] check on time." She added statements such as: * "We're not taking you because you complained you didn't get your check on time." * "Do you not know it takes more than six months to get paid?" * "What are you going to do--file another complaint? We're still not going to take you." These remarks were humiliating, racially biased, and entirely inappropriate for a medical setting. They drew unnecessary attention and created a hostile environment. Her statements were also factually incorrect. I was injured in a hit-and-run car accident and sought chiropractic treatment because of my injurie; not for financial motives, as was wrongly assumed. Failure to Provide Timely Medical Documentation Between December 2024 and early 2025, I spoke with Dr. Hook multiple times regarding the release of my medical documentation to a third party listed on my medical release form. Despite repeated assurances from him, the documents were not sent for several months. Only after I filed a BBB complaint did Dr. Hook finally send the required documentation. Even in his written communication (attached), he acknowledged and apologized for failing to send the information in a timely manner. Impact and Requested Action The conduct I experienced was: * unprofessional * discriminatory * retaliatory * emotionally distressing * in violation of basic patient-provider standards Don't go here

I came here for relatively minor posture issues and shortly afterward ended up experiencing a…read morevertebral artery dissection at age 25. This has turned into a serious and ongoing medical situation involving chronic pain, headaches, extensive testing, doctor visits, and significant financial cost. The pain began within a day after my visit. My doctors have described the tear as traumatic/mechanical in nature. They explained that vertebral artery dissection is a known risk associated with high-velocity neck manipulation, although they also said there is no way to determine the exact cause with certainty. Months later the dissection has progressed to moderate to severe, and I am still dealing with the consequences. From my perspective, the high-velocity neck adjustments recommended here were not worth the risk. I was hesitant about neck manipulation initially, but I felt there was pressure to proceed with it. After the adjustment I experienced unusual neck pain similar to what I had felt after prior adjustments, though this time it became significantly worse the following day when my neck cracked during a gentle stretch at home. That worsening pain ultimately led to medical evaluation and the diagnosis. Because of how serious and prolonged this experience has been, I strongly encourage anyone considering neck manipulation to carefully research the potential risks and make an informed decision before proceeding. This review reflects only my personal experience, but the outcome for me has been life-altering.

Superior Chiropractors that'll straighten you out…read more During and after the pandemic, I've been spending a lot of time seating down. That's very bad for your back, some say "seating" is the new way to destroy your body. Dr. Dan offered a Groupon, so it was an excellent way to try them out before committing to a doctor's office. They also, offer the service of Mr. Park, the Acupuncturist. They are kind, caring and extremely flexible (pun intended) with their patients. I love the centrally located office, right off of Bethesda Row. They play music which is good for the soul, while they help you straighten out your body. Everyone, the two doctors Drs. Dan and Rosell, are very good at their trade. When seeing a chiropractor, you must trust them completely. You can place you trust in both of these fine doctors. The team that staff the office are made up of the Administrative Staff, lead by Sonja. Another key and vital part of the team, are the chiropractic assistants. They are a fun, intelligent and good nature group that only want to help you get better. Bonus points, they are very personable and love to chat about many various topics like food, travel, life, music and cats. If you are in search on getting in a better shape and feeling better, look no further, these are the best people for you.

But to start: He genuinely cares about his patients. Not just the one on one care for PT, but as you as a person! I get to spend an hour with him and have really good conversation along with getting excellent care. He is very "hands on" which I appreciate. He listens to your concerns. And he goes hands-on whether it be massage or be cupping. And then gives you exercises and make sure you don't leave until you understand what you have to do. I even convinced my own wife to give Jordan a try as her PT and she truly understood what I was talking about. The front office staff is always helpful and polite Every time I call she picks up immediately and it's very helpful. They take my type of insurance which would be a dealbreaker if they did not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. Every appointment with Dr Jordan, I leave feeling heard, encouraged, and like real progress is being made. If you're looking for a PT who will treat you like a whole person and not just a case file, look no further. Highest possible recommendation! It'll be a sad day when I no longer have any PT issues. Sometimes the adjustment relieves my pain within one session but I usually do regular maintenance appointments since my insurance covers it. About 2 years ago, I had really bad foot pain, it took several Piezowaze Therapy appointments to help finally fix it (about 6ish months of every other week appointments). And the pain hasn't come back ever since. When Hena was added to the team, it made this practice even better. Prior to Hena, Dr. Lee did dry acupuncture too but just a little bit and mostly focusing on where I tell him the problem area is. Now that Hena was added. It's not always focused on pain, sometimes if I tell her that my brain fog is particularly high that day or I'm having alot of anxiety, she is able to do certain acupuncture points that helps with that. One particular day, my anxiety level was pretty high, and whatever point she hit, I weirdly felt instantly blissed out haha. That's the first time I felt that with acupuncture. I was very relaxed that day. The blissed out feeling doesn't always happen, but I definitely trust her. She also introduced me to cupping and I am now obsessed with it. I never knew anything about it before, and it's crazy how much it actually helps relieve my back tension and how it detoxes the body. Overall happy with this practice and always look forward to coming in as a part of my self-care and health maintenance.

After my chiropractor of many years, Dr. Levan, retired, he recommended a few other chiropractors…read more Of the various excellent chiropractors I tried out, I found that Dr. Cradic really stood out. Dr. Cradic's adjustments are exceptionally good. He is unusually strong, incredibly fast, and very precise. Parts of my spine, especially in the upper spine between my shoulder blades, often would get stuck and resistant to moving. Dr. Cradic reliably gets them moving, with adjustments that are incredibly fast. Dr. Cradic also used a couple of adjustments that were extremely effective, but I had never seen before. This includes an adjustment of the shoulders that has done wonders for my pain and ability to work out intensively. In addition to adjusting my spine, Dr. Cradic has also helped with my wrists and even an issue I was having with my feet. He mentioned that his chiropractic expertise is actually enhanced by additional training in osteopathy. This, combined with skill and experience, may help explain why his adjustments are so phenomenal. The appointments begin with a combination of heat and electrical stimulation to relax the muscles, followed by a roller table. Sometimes, the roller table comes first, followed by heat/stim. After that, he does the adjustments, along with any soft tissue work that is needed. For example, in my case, he often uses a massage gun on my shoulders and rotator cuff, which I have found quite helpful. The hygiene is also good. For example, each person has a set of pads used for the electrical stimulation assigned to them. You get your own pads, rather than sharing pads. Equipment, tables, etc. are wiped down after each use. One concern I had was parking. That part of Silver Spring can be tricky to park in. However, there is a parking garage right across the street with plenty of room. I have never had any difficulty parking. There is also some limited street parking, but with the garage right there, I have never bothered with it.

Steve's method seemed a bit hippy, dippy at first, but I am experiencing a real change in my back/body. I stand straighter and am more comfortable. Steve's practice is a whole body and mind approach and it has really made a difference for me. Instead of just pushing my body into the position it needs to be in (which was often painful), I have learned how to put my body into the position it should be in whenever I feel a twinge. It is hard work but I love it. I still see Steve regularly and I continue to learn about myself and how I can affect changes in my body that allows me to live without pain in my back, neck and hips. Very different style of chiropractic but it works for me and I am forever grateful!
