Considering the size of the lot, the amount of stores in the shopping center you would think that they could have had the lot plowed after 2 days, it's not like the stores are open overnight. Someone could seriously get hurt walking in the lot. I am surprised how bad it was. Yes I understand that Wednesdays storm was a large amount of snow but I am sure that whoever has that contract had to be paid a lot to keep it clean. Again someone could definitely get hurt walking..................

The selection was decent but it was hard to find items with the amount of chaos. The best section in this store had to be the children's section as well as their sun glass selection. The staff here was very polite and we hope the next time we come in the place is a bit easier to navigate.

I cant say enough gushingly positive and wonderful things about this newer craft store in the New…read moreHartford Shopping center! Located way down on the left hand side of the center, it is not to be missed! Heartsome Handicrafts is a store that showcases various local crafters. They have everything you could imagine and more. It is like a year round craft show! The prices are so reasonable and the owner herself is a crafter. She is friendly and knowledgeable not only of her products, but of all of her crafters as well! If you see something you like but might be interested in a different customization many of the crafters are able to do so! My pawprint heart was made just for me! I also commissioned a wood portrait of one of my dogs that came out stunning. In the future I hopefully look forward to having a wool husky made from a picture of my other dog. All these things I probably wouldn't have been able to afford elsewhere. So many items are unique and for sure not just the same old things you see at fair after fair. Please check them out for yourself or to find a great gift!!!

Please do not listen to Kathleen L.. Maybe she is demanding and expecting too much. First,…read moreshouldn't go into a thrift shop, any thrift shop, looking for a particular thing. Second, never expect whatever you look at to be in tip-top condition or even having all its parts. It's a thrift store. You want top quality, look to purchase from regular retail stores. That being said, of general thrift stores, being Salvation Army, Goodwill, and Thrifty Shopper; I found Thrifty Shopper has more better products. Salvation Army quality and items seem like they are picked over/items often just trashed than have value. Clothing way overpriced and Salvation Army and Goodwill. That being said, clothing might have a stain, have a rip, miss a button; so either look into getting it repaired, fix it yourself, don't buy it. Surprising how much good things found there, simply because people do not look into how an item works(emptying trash in vacuum). Had good luck finding good deals. Do yourself a favor. If going into any thrift shop, test all electronics(ask for outlet to plug stuff in, prepare for there not being a power adapter for what you are looking at. If you keep expectations low, you will always be surprised. Finding stuff, personally had best of luck at Thrifty Shopper stores in general(two are in Syracuse as well). Expect there to be days you look, but don't see anything you want, need, or of value. You want to seriously find something with a guarantee, there is Amazon.com, EBay.com, Letgo.com.
