No surprises. Travis the co-owner came out and gave us a bid and laid out a plan how he would run the lines and pipes through the ground. He not only offered a great solution but also pointed out ways to future-proof the infrastructure in case we wanted to build out more of the garden. Riley and Matthew installed the irrigation. What else impressive is that even though they ran pipes underground through an already existing garden, when they were done it was like magic. Somehow pipes were in the ground and you could not even tell there was construction! Even when they dug the dirt out they put the dirt on tarps so that it would not mess up the existing lawn. Although Sanford Irrigation came recommended, their service rep did not take time to trouble shoot issues with our existing system. After he left I spent about 30 minutes identifying several issues on my own by walking and listening zone by zone. The source of one particular "mystery zone" became clear when I simply turned it on and listened for the water source which was bubbling up in a specific location pretty much exactly where I had pointed. So after a $150 bill, their recommendation to "run the system for a few weeks to see what greens up" was a waste of time and money not to speak of a waste of water. read more

Travis and crew were amazing. We had a full system set up in our existing yard and I couldn't have been happier. As a weekend "lawn jockey" I was concerned with how ripped up the yard would get but after 2 weeks it's barely noticeable! The system they set up is so user friendly and automated, I'll only screw it up if I tinker with it too much! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!! $40 FOR A SPRINKLER HEAD replacement, $25 for sprinkler head and additional $15 labor (unscrew and screw the new head on with no digging) total BS! Company came out and quoted work to be done and parts, when job was complete it was found not all work had been completed so called to have them finish the job and complete ANOTHER fricken system check for improperly working heads that weren't found during initial check. So now in addition to having to pay for another system check they want me to pay for the sprinkler head that was part of the original quote. These folks are great. We moved into a home in Sequim WA with an old irrigation system that was leaking and all messed up. Cody was respectful, very knowledgeable and kind. He came on time and evaluated it then ordered some parts he didn't have and came back and fixed leaks and replaced missing and broken parts. He also explained and marked it so I could understand and use it. I highly recommend them if you need help with irrigation. read more

Sanford Irrigation is extremely knowledgeable about irrigation systems, professional, responsive and reasonably priced. Originally we called them we were living out of the area to ask them to winterize our irrigation system. We called while a snowstorm was approaching and everyone was swamped but they came out right away and charged us a very reasonable amount when they could have charged us anything since it was an emergency situation. We had some landscaping work done a few months ago and went ahead and used the landscaping company to repair and replace some of the irrigation system. The other company did a shoddy job and we called Sanford to come out and fix some of what they did. Again, they were so knowledgeable, had all the right parts, knew exactly what to do and charged us a small amount to fix the issues caused by the other company. I only wish we had called them to do the work in the first place! We will never use anyone else for any future irrigation work. read more
