I didn't want him to be stressed or stay somewhere longer than he needed to. Petworks took him for 2 hours a week before our wedding to make sure he was comfortable with the place. The Friday before our wedding I dropped him off & confirmed we were able to pick him up Sunday evening. All the other places we looked at would not allow us to pick up our dog on Sunday we'd have to wait till Monday & pay for the extra day. Being able to pick up our dog when we wanted to was wonderful & they took such good care of him. For the price and the wonderful service you simply cannot best this place! She allowed plenty of time for our last goodbyes. My old girl hadn't had a chance to rise from a long nights slumber and get the morning's usual long long drink of water. It wasn't until after Dr. couldn't find a vein that I realized why. She didn't know that my dog was in much better shape than she thought. I was unprepared for an abrupt needle that delivered the 'sleep' medicine. My dog took a seizure. Very upsetting to me, as I was expecting a quiet passing. Dog was immediately unresponsive then gone. Dr. was kind enough to explain to me when I called the next day about why the shot needed to be delivered in the manner it was. Perception, I guess. Dr. Salinger completed the task asked of her. She did it well. Very professional, kind lady. She was not familiar with my doggy beforehand and that's on me. Special Lady.

Luna is older and no one knows what her life was like but she's very anxious and I will never be able to get her to a vet. She doesn't let me hold her or pick her up. I hoped to have her calm when Heather arrived. But Bella would have none of that and chased her from the bed just before she got here. Heather managed to corral her (nothing short of a miracle) and clip her nails in no time. I can't wait to tell my son about this experience. While we were out of the country and our dog sitter got sick, she stepped in with day doggie visits to help make sure the doggos were cared for and got plenty of outside time as well which was much appreciated. It's important to contact groomers early, especially during COVID to help with scheduling. They only take cash right now, which was no problem for us. Their prices are amazingly on the lower end, for the end result that you receive. Jimi received a bath, anal glands expressed, full grooming all for $35. We have been in California where the prices are well over $50, before tip. They deserve a great tip each visit! It was great to have someone listen to what you want and do it exactly as you ask. I was able to send pictures and description to help. Our Jimi is not a fan of having the hair taken out of his ears, as now we were told. That's what I want to hear after a grooming, things that were tough for the groomer so I can let the next one know. Very appreciative of that. When we are back in the area, we would definitely use Pretty Puppies Grooming!
