It was 10 minutes of a cold read telling me very vague things that would apply to almost anyone, and then she told me I was stuck in limbo and she couldn't read me any further unless I agreed to her "monroe method." She wanted me to pay $1200 up front and was VERY adamant about getting me to agree to it, spent 15 minutes trying to get me to agree and even going so far as cutting the price in half. I had the extreme pleasure snd honor to meet Lynn Van Praagh-Gratton at a group Reading in Queens…read moreNew York thru an invitation from a dear friend. There were a lot of people there. Just being in that room gave me a feeling of pure love and peace. Many "connections " were made with many loved ones who had crossed. During the second half , Lynn asked if anyone knew someone whose name was Larry. I kept looking around to see who this person was and realized that was my brother in law. Lynn continued his message by saying he was married to my sister (gave her name) then said to give her a message. Then Lynn said my husband Ron was speaking and thank me for wearing something that no one knew about and he was taking care of our son. Even my son who passed in January came through. She told us about the many signed our loved ones send us everyday. I am blessed to say I find dimes in unexpected places. I even had a group reading at my home where each one who attended got messages from their loved ones who have crossed. Lynn is a true gift to us. The messages received from our loved ones has brought healing to my son, my friends, sister and me. I highly recommend the purchasing of her book Divine Dimes. The most uplifting book I have read. She talks of different things about how to be aware of our loved ones sending us signs like the dimes and other signals sent us. Lynn is truly a genuine medium helping us heal and feel the love of our family who have crossed. I will always be in contact with Lynn and will buy her books. I pray that Lynn will continue to help us connect with our loved ones and am truly blessed to call her my new friend . Love Suzan F

Wow! This woman confirmed my appointment for a psychic reading and simply her tone on the phone…read moremade me run! She was so disrespectful. Constantly asking me if I had the money in CASH. Yes! I had the money in cash for her but if she is a psychic you would think she would be passionate about her work not as worried about getting her fee. No one would show up without the appropriate amount of money. That's clearly all she cared about and her gruff nature was more than scary and unnecessary. Obviously if people are going to a psychic, they are looking for answers to help them perhaps get over something. In many cases, it's trauma. Do not trust this woman to tell you anything or help you find answers. All you will find is a made up something so she could get paid. Run! Do not walk! Do not call! I'm hoping to find a sweet soul who is passionate about their line of work and who treats potential clients with respect. Wow!

I went here with a friend for a sort-of info session/open discussion hosted by 4 women with…read more"spiritual" gifts. They discussed numerology, astrology, reiki, hypnotherapy, meditation, "talking" to spirits, tarot, etc. I would consider myself to be more of a believer than not, but I do have my limits. While I found the topics discussed to be interesting and sometimes enlightening, I was a little put off by some of the topics. I DO believe that spirituality can help heal physically and mentally...to a degree. To say it has completely cured cancer with no other treatment I think is a dangerous thing to tell people and extremely unlikely. Also, as a supplement, or in place of psycho-therapy, absolutely. But to insist that no one needs medication for a mental disorder can be damaging and reverses the progress we've made in the mental health community. It IS OK to take medication if you need to. There is enough shame surrounding the stigma of mental health as it is. No one should be embarrassed for taking medication. However, those are a matter of opinion, and would not discourage me from returning for a reading of any kind. The women were knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to.

She asks questions and tries to get tidbits of info from you that she can use to assume other things. Everything she said during our medium reading was generic and something she could have inferred by something else that we said or agreed to. Nothing special was said that really truly made me believe my loved ones were there with me. I felt she could have said the same exact things to someone else and they could have also applied. She chooses "safe" options to say if you don't give her a lot of info to feed off. Truly heartbreaking to experience. I just hope Catherine finds it in her heart to no longer prey upon the vulnerable by faking and taking their money during their difficult times. Please look into another place to go to!

Which was nice cause it didn't feel like there was any distraction. She asked me to open my right hand and she told me everything that has been going on. I didn't say anything to her prior - she was in my head with incredible accuracy. And same for my friend. She was legit and it really put us at ease. It wasn't like she told us it would be all rainbows and butterflies either. It was the clarity we needed on the situations - and again we didn't say anything to her, just sat down, opened my hand. When we asked her to honor the price that was PLASTERED on the side of the building - she refused, saying if she did it for us she would "have to do it for everyone"...so I wonder if that's how she gets people in the door then rips them off.
