It's okay, not much I saw but there's bound to be something. Not far from Plano, downtown Sandwich, and open land.

Wonderful shop! All the different dealers brings variety to the shop. I have been to many of their special events, good deals and snacks.

Sunday at Sandwich Antique Show

In my opinion our trip to "Sunday At Sandwich" was a complete bust. The entry fee is overpriced at…read morefive bucks. Although the event looks big it's really quite small. Ten bucks for two of us to get in just seemed steep. This is your typical outdoor antique show. Good mix of stuff just not enough of it. We'd hoped to take a long time to see everything but we were done in an hour and we left empty handed. If you live close and have $5 burning a hole in your pocket, go check it out. If you're further away I'd say this event isn't trip-worthy.

Kane county charges the same amount and is at least three times bigger. The Fairgrounds has at least two buildings for indoor vendors and a lot of space for outdoor vendors. It is usually very clean with indoor bathrooms and decent parking. There is closer parking for those with a disability placard. There are many food vendors offering kettle corn, hotdogs, tacos, soda, and such. They also have live music. There were numerous dogs at today's market and all behaved very well. I think I spent more time visiting with various dogs than I did shopping. Items available date from approx mid-1800s to 2000s. Yes, there was some absolute junk that I would not bring to an "antique market," but there were many beautiful items! Prices ranged from reasonable to expensive and while I encountered several overpriced items (imho), dealers were ready to wheel and deal. Everyone I encountered was friendly and having a good time, which is a nice change. It is definitely a family event but I strongly suggest you watch your children. It is not a playground or a form of babysitting. Many children ran around unsupervised with little regard for the older folks or those with a cane or wheelchair. Many of the dogs behaved better than the kids and I blame the parents. With that being said, it was a relaxing day and educational to boot. I recommend this market as I believe there is something there for everyone. My dearly departed grandmother would have loved it! And I believe you would, too.
