There are several parks in the Crystal Heights neighborhood, this is the South Park. Since this is a neighborhood park there is no parking lot or restrooms. There is however a very nice shade covered playground with climbing structures and slides. There are also swings. The park also has benches, a grill, sand volleyball court, and large open area for play. There are trees for shade and nicely maintained landscaping. This park is ideal for exercise, taking the children to play, or having a cookout. This is a very nice recreational amenity for the neighborhood.

This park also has a huge soccer area with several fields. Opposite is a walkway around the man made lake. There's lots of parking and facilities, it's not a reserve but it's an enjoyable nature walk.

The playground is fenced in for the kids and the bathrooms and water fountains are really close. The playground has some shade but not in the right spots and the shade it does have isn't big enough. There are two sides of the playground - one for tots and another for toddlers. The ground is synthetic cushioned. Families are almost always friendly and we usually stay about 40 minutes each time. Parking mostly available right in front. We tried to fly a kite one time but we're told not allowed at any city park with lights - to prevent getting tied up in them.

It was named in honor of Pompano Beach Commissioner George Brummer who was elected in June of 2003. He was the successor to his friend, the late Vice Mayor Herb Skolnick, who served three decades. Brummer was well known and liked in Palm Aire where he served as President of the Civic Association. He was the one to suggest the creation of a park for Palm Aire. At the opening of the park George Brummer was praised for his leadership in both business and community issues and he was recognized as a champion for the Palm Aire community. At the dedication Brummer said he wanted people to use and enjoy the park. George Brummer Park was designed to appeal to all ages from youth to seniors. Park amenities include six popular pickle ball courts, restrooms, large shade covered playground, benches, tennis courts, basketball court, bocce ball, handball, and outdoor exercise equipment. While I was visiting there was a children's birthday party and people were playing basketball. I was actually kind of surprised at how many people were using the park given the heat index. A lot of the people in Palm Aire live in multi story condo units and this is the only outdoor recreation area they have. Fortunately the park is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The City of Pompano did a great job exceeding Brummer's vision for a recreational area that the residents of Palm Aire can enjoy for years to come.

Hidden Lakes is a small 1.4 acre neighborhood park. I discovered it while doing some shopping in the area and I am always looking for somewhere new to walk for exercise. Park amenities include benches, a foot ball field, pavilions, picnic tables, playground with climbing structures and a small slide, water fountain, and tennis courts. On the day I visited a party was being set up in the gazebo. Unfortunately the park didn't have any kind of walking trail. This park is best suited for people who live in the neighborhood since there are no restroom facilities. It is also quite small and limited. There aren't many parks in this area of Boca Raton so despite it's small size it is still a good resource for play and exercise for the Hidden Lakes neighborhood.

He kept our group of about 20 engaged. Gophers and their habitats are protected in Florida. There's a man-made lake in the middle of the sanctuary, which is up to 60 feet deep in places. The soil that was dug out to make the lake was transferred to the Sports Plex to level that land during its construction. We saw a tortoise and a raccoon during the walk and heard many birds. The walkway was paved and wide. This park is part of the million orchid initiative, we saw many tiny orchid plants attached to trees Although the sanctuary locked when there is no tour, there is a paved walkway outside the gated area. There is a nice playground for children and restrooms. The sanctuary is located in a Coral Springs neighbourhood. There is sufficient parking.

It would be nice if it could allow for local school education and others to be able to have walk throughs with scheduled guidance. Neighborhoods in Plantation are characterized by leafy tree lined sidewalks and beautiful neighborhood parks like this one. Marcano Estates Park has a large open field for play, and a playground with climbing structures and swings. Part of the park is on a lake so parents need to keep an eye on the kids so they don't wander off. Paved pathways wind through the park. This is a great place to take the kids to play, have a picnic, walk the dog, or just enjoy being outside in the beautiful Florida spring weather. On the day I visited kids were enjoying the playground. It is nice to see families playing together and enjoying the parks with their kids.

The neighborhood is in close proximity to Coral Square Mall. Ramblewood has three community parks, Sherwood Forest Park, Ramblewood Park, and Countrywood Park. This is a neat and well maintained neighborhood park with no parking or restrooms but It does have benches, an open play area. a picnic tables, shade trees, and a fenced in playground with shade cover. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is even a house for sale across the street. This is a convenient place for neighborhood kids to meet and play. For a park with more amenities visit nearby Sherwood Forest Park.

We soon found George Snow Park on Google Maps, and would never have known it was tucked away off of Glades had we not specifically been searching for playgrounds. But what an ADORABLE park this is! We stopped here around 10 am or so on a Saturday morning, and it was initially just us and one other mom and her kid. We headed straight for the swings (my son's favorite), and then afterward let him have free reign to explore what he wanted. He loved the setup with all of the spinny toys and bells! As we stayed longer, more and more families started showing up, but it didn't ever feel too crowded while we were there. We loved how shaded the playground area was -- the weather was still slightly cooler then, but I know that shade is all the more appreciated in the summer. He was still a little too small for the bigger playground sets (he hadn't quite figured out stairs at that point), but now that he's grown a bit, I will absolutely bring him back here on our next trip to South Florida so he can explore further and go on the slides! I have yet to find a playground in Tampa as nice as this one!
