Korene joined us for 2 hours and performed face painting and balloon twisting. She is a PRO with these kids' birthday parties. She is SO organized! Amongst the chaos, she never once lost her cool. She has her system DOWN! We had 26 three to five year olds running around with 5 - 10 of them hovering around the balloon/face painting station at any given time perusing the awesome menu of popular face painting styles and balloon characters which made it easy for the kids to choose exactly what they wanted and to move through the waitlist quickly! Most of the kids opted to do the face painting so I didn't get to see all the epic balloon characters that others have written about, however Korene made an INSANE Thomas the train balloon for my son before the party and presented it to him when she arrived. It was truly a piece of art! I hope it last a very long time. :) I received a ton of texts from the parents after the party telling me how fun the party was and how much their kids LOVED the face painting and balloon twisting. I'm so grateful to Korene for adding so much wonderful energy to our party and entertaining all of our guests. Lastly, I want to thank Korene for her responsiveness and flexibility with the last minute location and time change to the weather!

Our artist was absolutely wonderful - showed up promptly, was professional, kind, and friendly. We ended up having much fewer children than expected at our party, so most guests were adults. The artist did a great job making everyone feel welcome to have a face (or hand) painted or to request a balloon creation, regardless of age. It was so much fun for children and adults alike. Hired for a 5 year old birthday party…read more She spent 30+ minutes per kid, and used up all of the time we paid for with a significant number of children still wanting their faces painted. We ended up paying extra to have her stay longer and finish. On top of that she was pestering my wife and other guests for "sugary, non carbonated drinks" all afternoon. She kept complaining to my wife and guests of elbow pain and requesting ice for it in a bowl. Then when the pizza came for the kids she asked for multiple pieces of the kids pizza. After we had cleaned up the whole party she and her "assistant" were still not done packing up their stuff. When they finally finished packing their stuff into a rolling suitcase they flagged down my wife and asked her to ask me to come fold up their folding table and carry their bag to their car. For $500 I would think you would bring your own drinks and food and pack your own crap.
