The IV therapy I received three times did help with my migraines, the 4th time this woman put me in the hospital. I'm allergic to latex and asked her not to touch me with the gloves. She said "I'm barely touching you, settle down." Two hours later I was I the ER after I had to Epipen myself on the freeway. I would like to say that this was an honest mistake, but she was hostile and defensive when I called the office. I missed a week of work and had hundreds of dollars of medical bills. I contacted the owner, who gave me a refund and an apology and I kept Yelp out of it. But then I started to feel an obligation to warn other patients. Kim is confident in her skills. So confident that I witnessed her tell other patients to ignore directions from their real doctors. One very elderly man had very red swollen lower legs. Kim commented on them in a scolding tone. The man asked "should I tell my heart doctor?" She said "no, just go home and eat some watermelon." I have a close family member with congestive heart failure, swollen lower legs are a dangerous symptom, not fixable by watermelon. I believe in complementary therapies, but that's not what's happening here.

I often saw his wife, the receptionist, giving gifts to the child patients. However, like another person mentioned, there's a side to Dr. Tsai and his wife, Susan, that comes out whenever there is a deviation from this tightly controlled environment. In my case, the osteopath that Dr. Tsai was co-treating with was out of town and unable to help me when a molar got loose due to the dental treatment that the other osteopath was supervising. Dr. Tsai felt how loose the tooth was but refused to cover for the absent osteopath. He said I would be safe if it only lasted "up to two weeks." At three weeks, the tooth was on the brink of falling out, but the appliance was still in while we waited for the return of the other osteopath. Again, he had the option of helping me fix the appliance (at the dentist's) that week. He not only refused but this told me that it was okay to have this tooth getting looser for "up to three weeks." When I asked him to clarify, because last week, at two weeks, he had said "two weeks," he argued with me, insisting that three weeks was okay. Then he asked Susan when the other osteopath would be coming back to town. "Next week," she said, and he ran his hand through his hair in irritation and then walked away. That molar was so damaged it is now a source of endless problems and has made any further orthopedic or orthodontic interventions next to impossible. It literally would have taken him five minutes to help save that tooth, and by extension, my jaw. To watch him walk away from something so simple, easy, and ethical profoundly shocked me. I guess he was afraid of stepping on the other doctor's toes, but this was an emergency. To be gaslit, told that I had misunderstood the first (accurate prognosis), simply because he refused to help was highly unethical traumatic. To make matters worse, Susan became very rude to me after this.

I have the unfortunate status of having seen DOZENS (this is not an exaggeration) of health care…read morepractitioners for a chronic condition. Another non exaggeration is that Dr. Tsai has been far and away the most impactful at actually *resolving* what is going on. I cannot wrap my head around how he works but for me, the very tangible proof is in the pudding. I was fairly debilitated before and have slowly gained SO much functioning back. His work has even given me the gift of being well enough physically to consider having children (which was off the table before due to my being so symptomatic). Dr. Tsai is truly a gift and I feel blessed beyond compare to have encountered him. Also he's an absolute darling: sweet, kind, brilliant, genuine, and so relatable. Don't let his quiet exterior fool you. ;) Caution: contrary to what we are led to believe, there is usually no quick fix for things. I've dealt with this problem for so many years so it has taken time to resolve. The patient needs to have both a positive attitude about the ability to heal (there is substantial psychological research to support this), the patience to let the body rest and recoup after treatments, and the patience to respect your body's process. For reference, my problem is/was primarily a neurological one. I know OMT usually deals mostly with physical issues, making my insane improvement all the more remarkable. I had issue with my vision, balance, and sensory integration. You also cannot imagine how great it felt to have a doctor sit down and show me on a physical and graphic model of the brain what the heck was happening inside. So many other clinicians dismissed me since they were not educated enough to understand my situation

Dr. David Seto is truly a rare find. He's not only a board-certified medical doctor and osteopathic…read morephysician, but also a highly skilled acupuncturist. He currently practices at the VA Hospital, which speaks volumes about his deep commitment to healing and serving patients like me...people who have spent years visiting countless doctors and specialists in search of real answers and lasting relief. After so many frustrating experiences, finding Dr. Seto honestly felt like hitting the jackpot... and I don't say that lightly. He is kind, compassionate, humble, and extraordinarily gifted at what he does. Despite his impressive academic background, he carries himself with genuine warmth and humility. His credentials are exceptional: Princeton University for his undergraduate degree (on scholarship), New Jersey Medical School for his medical doctorate (also on full scholarship, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors), followed by residency in Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. He's board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. What truly sets him apart is his dedication to integrating Eastern and Western medicine. After his formal training in the U.S., he lived in Beijing, China (2013-2015), where he apprenticed under Dr. Wang Ju-Yi, a pioneer in classical Chinese acupuncture. He has accumulated thousands of hours of advanced clinical training in acupuncture and osteopathic manipulation, and is a member of several prestigious organizations including the American Academy of Osteopathy and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. During my first visit, what stood out was how thorough and thoughtful his intake process was. He took the time to ask deep, meaningful questions about my history to uncover the root cause of my issues, something no other doctor had done before. He discovered a long-standing blockage in my system and addressed it using a powerful combination of osteopathic manipulation and acupuncture. After just one session, I felt a remarkable difference throughout my entire body. This is not an exaggeration. Unlike the rushed, impersonal experiences I've had with many Western doctors, Dr. Seto devoted over four hours to my initial appointment, determined to understand my condition from every angle. It was the most comprehensive, patient-centered experience I've ever had. I also want to mention Yvonne, his incredible office manager, who was kind, patient, and thorough in explaining everything before my appointment. She made me feel completely at ease. At 65, after years of bouncing from one specialist to another, I finally feel like I've found the doctor I've been searching for. This was my first time experiencing the combination of osteopathic manipulation and acupuncture, and though I had some doubts initially, I'm so grateful I kept an open mind. If there's a wait to see Dr. David Seto, let me assure you... he is absolutely worth the wait.

I paid for my lab test at the clinic and later got a bill from the lab saying the invoice was never paid (meaning the clinic never paid them, even though I paid the clinic). I called and they said they were taking care of it. They asked me to send them my payment record because they didn't have a way of pulling it up themselves, which is wild. Months later I received another letter from the lab saying the bill still had not been settled and they were sending the payment to collections which would affect my credit score. They also sent me the incorrect imaging form multiple times. I needed an ultrasound and they sent me one for a mammogram. I flagged it and they sent me a new one but it still said mammogram. The info for what kind of imaging I needed came from them, so I really don't understand how they kept on getting that wrong. Just really poor attention to detail. It took multiple emails and calls just to get the right order. They also email you but don't check for your replies. I've had to call to follow up on emails. They also gave me the results to my imaging three different times. It was the same result, but somehow they hadn't recorded that they already gave them to me, so every several weeks they would call me to give me the same result. All of these issues stemmed from one visit if you can believe that.
