I can't recommend this real estate school enough. Kay Adams is HANDS DOWN one of the most…read moreimpressive people I've ever met. At 85, she has more energy and sharpness than people half her age--it's honestly inspiring. Beyond her deep real estate knowledge, the life experience and wisdom she brings into the classroom is something you just don't find everywhere. I've always been a terrible test taker, so I was really nervous going in--but literally thanks to Kay and Patti, I passed both Pearson exams on my first try. That alone speaks volumes about how well they teach and prepare you. Kay and Patti are an amazing team. They make the class engaging, supportive, and actually enjoyable to be in. The entire process is super organized as well, any questions you have during it are answered asap. If you're thinking about getting into real estate, this is 100% the place to go!!!!

They called me the same day I raised concerns and granted a one-month extension. They also acknowledged that the conflicting expiration dates were caused by a software issue with ESRI and assured me that they are working to fix it. On top of that, they refunded the extension fee I had been charged, which I felt was unfair. Their response was professional, polite, and timely. Now that the issue and extra charges have been corrected, I'm updating my review. Other than the conflicting dates, the course itself was excellent and easy to use.

He took plenty of time to make sure everything was understood and tried his best to make things interesting...but let's be honest, learning the inner workings of insurance is dry to say the least. They provided plenty of learning materials offered as much assistant as is possible. For what it was the class was great and very informative. Highly recommended. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5? They only offer uncovered parking so my car was essentially an oven every time I left.

Update: 2015-08-22 Well, passed my exam and I would say that the materials provided by TesTeachers…read moreare complete and informative. I also did not experience an outtage again, so I'm bumping them up to 3 stars. Haven't heard that they've done anything to permanently mitigate the outtages, but if I do, they get another star or two from me as they have a complete package otherwise. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update: 2015-12 This is a little delayed, but I was contacted directly by TesTeachers and they apologized for the outage and assured me that they do have backup systems but on occasion, even with backups, they've encountered short term outages in the past. They also offered me a highly discounted rate if I chose to do further training through them in the future. Changing my recommendation to 5 stars even though I will probably not need further training, simply in view of their good service and follow up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Original Review: Training for Insurance license. The company I'm with recommends this online provider, so here I am. The content is good, users can also download and review material offline which is nice. The reason that it's not 4 or 5 stars is because they don't seem to have a reliable server that they host their online software on. Trying to logon today and their website is "not found?!!" Spoke with customer service and their systems are also down. Seriously? There is a California-mandated timer on their website that makes sure that you're active and logs your time. You can't pass until you've been active on the site for the set amount of time. So, anyone trying to study and get time credited is out of luck until their servers are back up as there is no way to manually credit you study time either. I understand that this is partially the fault of the State of California and their silly rules, but as a serious service provider being paid serious $, there is really little excuse these days to be down for an hour or more (in the middle of the day), unless your cloud infrastructure is being hosted in someone's garage. TesTeachers, do us all a favor and use AWS or another serious, redundant backend please. Downtime in the middle of the day is no longer excusable when there are so many options for redundancy. Our time is valuable, please respect your customers by not wasting it. Let me know that you've taken steps to mitigate this issue and I will gladly raise my rating to a 4 or 5. Fellow yelpers, before forking over your money, ask a company about their outtages and if they're doing anything to mitigate them. Don't get stuck with a company that will drop offline when you need them.

We just finished our first season with CFAZ and feel like I can give a candid review…read more My daughter spent years doing gymnastics through various community/req style programs. Then a year or so through a satellite location of a major valley gymnastics gym. I could tell she was bored, and frankly...she was not progressing. After some research, we decided to try cheer. We went into the season with the intention of joining a non-travel, but during evaluations, the Coaches asked if we would consider putting our daughter on a more competitive travel team and we went for it! If you are new to the world of All-Star cheer as we were...it's super overwhelming at first. There is a significant time and financial commitment from families, however it is pretty well laid out up front in the parent handbook. I've learned in connecting with other Cheer parents (across state lines and other gyms) that this is generally what is to be expected of the sport and not specifically a CFAZ thing. That all being said, reflecting on this last year, my only regret is that we hadn't discovered this program and enrolled our daughter sooner!!! She has LOVED every minute from the very first pre-eval clinic, to the time she finished her last season's performance. YES-- the physical gains from this year are evident. She has grown in all aspects of the sport- but the real value is in the intangibles. Cheer has taught her the importance of team (which as an only child carries a lot of weight with us), discipline, and most of all...it has unlocked a confidence that we hadn't seen before. She (as well as WE) have met some wonderful new friends and families along the way. She has had the opportunity to work with many of the coaches at the gym either from her team, classes or private lessons and they all bring their own unique qualities to the program. If there is one negative to mention its that there is definitely a learning curve for new families. I think many families start in a Prep team to learn the ropes-- so perhaps it was just us jumping right in, but I did wish there was maybe a "All Star Cheer 101" for new families. But even putting that aside, you eventually figure it out. Tips for any new families considering joining this crazy world of All-Star Cheer-- We highly recommend CFAZ!! Recognize that the program's priority is focused around the kids-- not parents. Trust in the process- the coaches will see more of your kids' progress and abilities than you will. Don't be afraid to ask the questions if you have them and find some good veteran families to help fill in those educational gaps along the way.
