(I can judge physicians fairly well because I was in the healthcare business for 30 years--so I recognize "the good and the bad.") Dr. Tuttle stands out among the rest. He takes so much time to listen and seems to be in the practice of medicine because he genuinely wants to be of help to his patients. The phone rings forever and there's no answering machine on any option except for the prescription refill line. I've never experienced this with any other clinic to where you cannot call to speak to anyone, and not have an option to leave a message. This may be a Covid related problem, but I think their phone system is not working properly, or they need to have receptionists working in a call area to take phone calls. I moved to a new practice bc he also screwed up my MRI and surgery approvals so badly, that I had to cut him out of the process and work directly with my surgeon and insurance. By the time I finally got surgery, 5 months had passed and I degraded to being in/out of a wheelchair. All he had to do was review the same prior surgery and copy over the codes. I found a new doctor asap who decided to give me a baseline checkup and found the high liver values. I then pulled my old records from 2019 and just now found I had this liver problem almost 4 yrs. My new doc recommended checks for hepatitis and cancer. I strongly recommend staying away from Dr. Doctor.

She researches a drug's history, to see if that drug is compatible to you..I have gained so much knowledge from her..I always look forward to seeing her, it's not a 'dread' thing..We have laughed and talked and shared family stories over the years...I am so glad she is much younger than me, because I can't imagine my healthcare being in anyone else's hands, let-alone better hands. I have gone to Dr. Galanes since I was a little girl and continued to follow her from doctors office to doctors office like a loyal patient (even after moving out of town). I was always happy with Dr. Galanes and just tried to look past how rude the staff is there. Today is Tuesday and I received a voicemail saying "just to let you know you have an appointment scheduled this Friday and unfortunately we are going to need to cancel that appointment. It looks like you are actually being dismissed from our practice. If you have any questions feel free to call us at 335-8500 thank you..." I, of course, called after being told I can no longer go to the same doctor anymore and was told well that would mean I can't get my prescription refilled and I immediately am done taking the same medicine I've been taking since high school and I need to find a different doctor... pretty much saying I'm not their problem anymore! After back and fourth phone calls all day and different stories as to how they came to this decision. I pretty much found out the office got audited in some way because of prescription they have been prescribing (I'm guessing the wrong way) and now pretty much are just going to get rid of the patients they must have messed up the paperwork on. The whole situation is very strange to me and I just want to warn any future possible patients to please reconsider because this office only thinks of you as a number and not a person anymore. They will try anything to put the blame on you whenever they mess anything up...
