Being a Walmart+ member for a few years now I was happy they finally got Scan & Go implemented here. Been using it at Sam's Club ever since they implemented it and works much smoother than Walmart's. At Walmart it's great getting through the store quicker, especially with the wonderful wider aisles. BUT, when done, your checkout is not complete yet. You now have to got to a checkout lane specified for S&G customers only (there are only 2 out of like 18 or 20) and scan the bar code on the screen. Here, you may or may not be "selected" for a visual check by an employee standing there watching you. After this inspection you proceed to leave but again stopped for security at the door to inspect your full receipt on you phone to compare to items in your cart. So for me this is totally defeating my purpose of quick in/out, wasting more of my time. Sam's Club, scan, checkout on phone, proceed to leave, they scan your bar code on your phone and 2-3 items maybe and you're out the door! Sorry, but at Walmart it make's you feel like you are trying to steal something. And I for one do not appreciate this!!! So, bye-bye Walmart!

I have a very small dog (less than 3 lbs) who has very severe seizures due to a heart problem. She…read morehas to be on a Phenobarbital Elixir to control them. Previously, I was getting a premixed version of the medicine from Walgreens. I had been calling in her refill for over a week and she was down to just a few drops not even a full dose. They didn't seem to care and was definitely not in any hurry to fill her medicine, which I can only assume is because she's a dog. Of course, she goes into a full blown seizure, one of the worst I've ever seen. Her seizures last sometimes for 12 to 18 hours. Walgreen's couldn't transfer her medication to any other pharmacy because of the classification of the medicine. My vets office and I were both frantically calling every possible pharmacy within 3 counties. No where had the medication in stock. Finally, my vet got in touch with Moss Compounding Pharmacy aka The Pharmacy and they realized how dire our situation was but they also did not have the premixed medication in stock either but they said they could make it for her. I had no idea at the time how much of a blessing this all actually was. As soon as I administered my dog Moss's compounded elixir to her for the very first time her seizure actually stopped. Little did I know that the premixed version wasn't even helping to combat the seizures nor was it helping her when she was suffering a seizure. It was just drugging her into a daily fog that made her miserable. She would run and cry from the premixed version because the taste was so overwhelmingly bad, much worse than any terrible tasting cough syrup you can imagine. Since, Moss has been compounding her medication she doesn't even have to take it twice a day to prevent seizures. Since she is a registered support animal she is with me all the time and I know exactly what it looks like before she goes into a seizure so I am now able to just administer her the medication as needed and now since I can do it this way she has not once gone into a full seizure in almost 7 months. She isn't in a drugged hazy state all the time which allows her to do her job as my support animal. She's so much healthier and happier. She gets to run and play again and not spend her entire day sleeping. She doesn't even get upset about taking her medication because it doesn't taste bad. It barely has any taste at all except a hint of orange flavor. Moss Compounding Pharmacy showed me and her real compassion and that she was just as important and not just a dog or another prescription number. They also gave her back so much better quality of life and by her quality of life improving so has mine. Thank you Moss Compounding Pharmacy and the staff at The Pharmacy.

They are open on saturdays until 1pm. Most places online say ther are not open on satursay. But over all it is a nice place with good home town atmosphere. My favorite pharmacy i have found in Sumter. There is free street parking right out front also.
