Highly recommend!

While in the area this spot came up in my search for a record store in Shreveport, LA and when I…read moreshowed up and was able to take my time in browsing I was super happy this record shop popped up in my search. First of all this place is HUGE and there is something for every body here no matter what your music taste is. This shop has all sorts of music mediums as well that range from cassettes and vinyl to guitars and amps as well. Be sure to get a lay of the land from the owner so you have an idea of where you want to start your digging and browsing. I was glad I asked as there are so many nooks and crannies for you to get lost in. I was here primarily for vinyl so I ended up spending almost 2 hours here finding some incredible albums that were all fairly priced. Scott (the owner) has it all here in his curation of music from used/open vinyl to even the newest Record Store Day finds. Don't be afraid to take the records out and do some inspecting before you decide if you want to take the album home with you. I managed to miss a few things on what I purchased but only because I was pressed for time. Definitely make sure you inquire about what time they close as they close pretty early (6pm). The artwork and the amount of inventory Scott has here is remarkable. There is a story about every single piece of artwork and live performance posters he has up around the store. I was amazed at the quality of each artwork and piece. I had a great time walking around, browsing, and coming home with 7 albums to add to my vinyl collection. Parking is a little odd as there seems to be about a handful of spots in the front of the shop but street parking might be an option if it is busy here.

Nothing but great things to say. I initially went in just needing a new screen for my Apple Watch…read more I had beaten it up pretty badly. The part was ordered the next day and I was able to pick it up the second day. A few days after my repair I went on vacation where I swam with my watch on. Something I've done many times before so I wasn't worried until the screen went black and the watch became unresponsive. As soon as I got home I called Hunter at Modern Tech Repair, let him know what happened and took it back to him to check it out. He confirmed that water got into the watch face and fried it. Because it was a watch that he had previously worked on. He wanted to set it right and ordered a new watch for me since my original one was beyond repair. It's so refreshing to find someone who stands by their work and is willing to do what's necessary to make things right.
