There is also a separate kids area with some toys and a TV playing cartoons. I was plenty satisfied with the food, especially an Indian rice thing that really hit the spot. There isn't a manned bar, I don't think, but there's a section with bottled & canned drinks that you can just take. (Definitely don't try to smuggle them out, though.) There are showers! The restrooms stalls (some if not all... definitely the two that I observed) have showers in each stall, they looked very nice. Very glad this was available to me with my Priority Pass membership!

One issue is that you can't see how crowded it is until you're inside, in short pay first, know what you're getting after the fact. When we were there, it wasn't particularly busy, and it was a good way to get something to eat before a long trans-Pacific flight. The chairs were comfortable, the hot food limited but reasonably good, the deserts tasty and plentiful. As for the staff, they seemed a bit overworked, scrambling to keep up, but maybe at busier times they have more people? I don't know. The shower and rest room situation was a little odd, but workable - just kind of limited in capacity.

The ticket reception and food/wine/coffee parlor are all one, and makes for a busy foyer on an opening night. Watch recent art house releases, a current film festival or a good commercial film here. The cinemas are intimate, and the smallest seats only eighteen. I see there is wheel chair access available, with a lift up to the first level, and access in three separate cinemas which is very convenient if with an elderly patron. Perfect to match with the Cafe next door for a meal.

Small businesses close down, and franchises replace them, selling food that taste the same, clothing that looks the same and services that are the same. I miss the days where mom and pop stores offered a unique product range, a menu that was only available at that diner and services that could not be duplicated. At The Bridgeway Theatre you still get this taste of the past; movies are shown that don't cater for the masses, across the road you can dine on food that is unique and overall you will experience something you just won't get at a big mall. Now don't get me wrong, I love the modernization of the world, I just don't like all aspects of it.
