And then when it came to beer ordering (regular IPA from Goose Island), it was super warm... like room temperature, but this is not a cask beer so I am not sure what this was about! Quite disappointed to pay a premium price for a beer and then get something you can't even finish, yuck. The pizza was good, I can't say a bad word about that, it was just the beer and the service that got me disappointed and I would not want to come back for. Then tried to charge for it when they realised what they'd done 30mins later... the ordering group had already left so that was the end of that. But really...! The videos showing the forte throughout the years as well as videos showing how it was nelected but saved and shows the progress of the restoration. Various displays as well as equipment are all there to see and to touch, as well as mock up of events all help to make the experience a enjoyable one.. The cafe that is situated inside does a lovely cream tea. Also does kids boxes as well a hot and cold meals. The prices you would think would be over the top but I was very shocked at the price as they are very cheap, and the food is lovely..

If there's really interesting historical stuff in there, nicely presented, it should be advertised that way. We had the bad luck to be there while there were the preparations for the olympic games were going on, so there was construction work in the garden done.
