If I could give more stars to the boys at Infamous Barbershop I would! Sergio was patient with my 5 year old son who fidgets when he's getting his hair cut and he did a great job. I wanted to applaud but I would have looked silly! I've taken my son to other shops before but I've always left upset. This is the 4th shop we bring him to and we aren't going anywhere else! The shop is REALLY clean and cool. Someone is always cleaning the tools and sweeping the floor when the barbers are at work. The same guy makes sure the customers, mostly kids, are covered properly so hair doesn't get on their clothes and he assists the barbers with getting hair of their faces so they aren't itchy. The guys there bring out this comfortable and funny ambient it makes you feel like you're visiting a family member's home! They all tell the customers they appreciate their service when they leave, it's small but it's so much effort in their part and details like this are great and thoughtful. I recommend anyone who likes traditional and modern cuts to come to this place. They seem like they are current with modern styles as well as the old school styles. As we waited, which wasn't long at all (and it was busy-which didn't matter cause it's a cool place to hang out) I saw few customers; many different ages with different styles and the boys here did well with all the styles. Those seeking a barbershop, look no further. Infamous Barbershop will be the last barbershop you go to. Looking back through all of my pictures since I was a child, I wonder how I walked around with my hair looking the way it did. My parents took me to these sketchy Vietnamese Salons where my hair would be cut into the shape of a cereal bowl. I guess I was pretty shameless when I went to school after. Fast forward to my first cut at Infamous. Have you ever gotten that confidence boost, almost as if you had been reborn into a new man? That's what you will experience, each and every time you get up out of The Chair. You will ask yourself, "Why have I not discovered this place sooner?" and "How have I been walking around with my hair the way it was, all of these years?" My first visit was also very informative. I had learned more about my hair and the different kinds of cuts than I have at any other shop I had been to. Juice and Sergio will not let you out of that chair until you look fresher than a mint. They will spend as much time as it takes to get you ready for what ever life throws at you. That being said, call in and make an appointment a few days in advance so you don't have to wait, as they do handle a high volume of customers. Can I also note, THEY USE A STRAIGHT RAZOR for your line up. That is arguably the best part about my haircut experience. The shop has a very relaxed ambiance to it. Been coming here for a little over a year already. Found out about these guys from Instagram. I've gotten cut from some barbers who are pretty big in the barber game. I'm not gonna name names but let's just say some of the barbers I used to go to have cut A-list celebs. So I was hesitant on coming here but I'm gonna start off this review by saying not once have I been disappointed. There's 2 resident barbers - David (Juice) and Sergio. Havent gotten cut by Juice yet as he only takes appointments but every cut I've had from Sergio and every cut I've seen juice do have all been on point. I honestly don't remember seeing anyone walk out the shop not satisfied with their cut. These guys are masters at their craft and take the time to make sure they make each and every cut tailored to the customer. One thing tho, just like a lot of other barbershops don't expect it to be G-rated. A lot of R-rated conversations take place, especially if you come on Thursday mornings. It was my first time visiting a barbershop and these guys did not disappoint. I just had my haircut today by the man, Sergio. Although at first it may be a bit intimidating walking through the doors, the environment was very friendly. Sergio gave my haircut a great pomp along with a nice taper fade. I've never had a lineup with a straight razer, but it was an interesting experience. The aftershave was quite the delight as well. I came in today, 11/10/17, with my two boys. My youngest son, Brandon, had an appointment with Kendra and once again she did an amazing job! Brandon felt comfortable the entire time! His haircut (taper on the sides and long up top, combover) came out great like the time before and I couldn't be happier!! This time, my oldest son had an appointment with Juice (first time)! Juice did an amazing job as well!! Juice is nice with the blade and scissors! Also, my son said he enjoyed the cold air hair dryer lol. He said it felt nice. The haircut (taper on the sides and long up top, combover) cam out amazing and the lines came out clean! The fade is gradual with no hard lines!! On top of the clean cut, my son was laughing and having a good time. This is a review that is LONG overdue. I've been cutting with Juice (head barber) since I was 21 (28 now). I've tried a few other barbers in between those years but ALWAYS end up going back to Juice because he always has to fix other barber's mistakes. Very embarrassing lol. But now, i'm a bi weekly client and loyal too because he never lets me leave unhappy. I don't think i've ever found a mistake on my hair from Juice or Sergio (used to cut with sergio when juice was busy a few years back). And if I did, they'll gladly fix the issue. I left to work on ships over seas and would visit home and also schedule haircuts ...again,always crispy. On his worst day you walk out with a 8.0 haircut, and to be honest I don't remember the last time he had bad day. This place is awesome! Was on yelp looking for a good barber and came across this gem. I was able to book an appointment through the yelp app with Kendra. Showed up 10 min before my appointment and I was greeted by all the friendly staff and was even offered a water bottle, that's cool. I told Kendra what kinda cut I wanted and let her know I hadn't had too much luck with other barbers getting the cut I was looking for, kendra went above and beyond and gave me a super legit taper fade. My new barbershop! I just walked out from my cut and had to give this much deserved review before driving out of the lot. Like most of us do, I was searching on yelp for a new barber. Looked at reviews and ratings and though there were other shops that had more reviews I decided on this place. First based off the comments of course and looked for negative reviews so I could weed out the bs negative reviews or determine if they were legit. Second, how the barbers were spoken of by other customers and the detail and types of cuts they do. So, with all that I decided to go here and go with Kendra. Granted she doesn't have as many years, she definitely has the art and touch which in my book counts more than years. I've been to many shops asking for a prohibition style undercut and I end up getting something that isn't even close despite pictures shown. I have nothing but positive words to say about this place. I have been coming here since 2009 and every time have left with a smile on my face and a fresh cut. Juice and Sergio have been cutting my hair for about 5 years now. It's come to the point where I purposely don't check the mirror after my cut because I already know they won't let me leave with a bad cut. It can get a little busy so usually the sooner you come in the day the better, juice also takes appointment on the weekend which has been a lifesaver for when I have events to attend and am pressed on time. I've been coming here for a few years now and have yet to write a review. However, this past holiday season I was forced to use a different barber because I decided that I didn't need a haircut right before New Year's Day, but ultimately decided otherwise last minute. Checked their schedule on the Booksy app and saw that my barber Sergio was booked for the day. I searched around on yelp for a barber near me, as I don't live in the Arcadia area anymore. I finally found a shop that had walk ins available for that day...that should have been a clear sign of what was about to happen. Long story short, my haircut was terrible. Fast forward to this weekend, my hair had finally grown out enough for me to go back to Sergio and get my hair right. Sergio is really an amazing barber. His cuts are always tight and clean. Although Sergio is the only barber I frequent at this location, the other two chairs are manned by to barbers who I'm sure are just as competent. Everyone I see leave their chairs leaves with a clean cut and they look happy. The point to my awfully long review is that my hairstyle and cut are both very personal to me. So when someone does it right and does it right so consistently, It makes me really appreciate this establishment and the people there working hard. Drove 10 miles each way to get a haircut based on reviews...i called first and the guy said "ya we r open come by" i showed up and one of the guys said come back in a hour and half cause we are all going to lunch...I said fine, came back in two hours and a female said they just left for lunch and come back in a hour. My cut is horrible the back sticks up and left side goes up and in. I can say the guys walking out of there has legit cuts. Maybe it was my luck or probably the barber I got. Here is the situation with this place: two of the three barbers provide decent hair cuts. The other one, who is the first from when you walk in, cuts below average and that's not the only problem. He uses too much pressure with the clipper that hurts your scalp, especially when it goes around the ears. If you do get him, make sure to tell him NOT to use the razor or your skin will get cut. This is a guy who is not meant to do precision work. The other two are pretty good, they take their time with their clients and the cut are good. But they only work with appointments, which is not a big deal, except that the price now jumps from $17 to $25, way too expensive for a barbershop. It's really annoying that this business plays this kind of games. Basically they are saying, if you want a decent hair cut, pay $25. Otherwise, walk in and get the sucky guy at $17. read more

I have been here several times with my son. The barbers here take their time to perfect their cuts but other than that the service is pathetic. Cons: Overcrowded and unprofessional. Only 2 barbers so the wait is minimum of an hour. They take 2 hour lunches and the shop is closed during that time because they take their lunches together. They rarely answer phone calls or give u a good approximate wait time. What really made me not come here again was when I went on a weekend around 2:30pm and a posted sign said they went out for lunch and will be back in an hour. I called the number listed and they did not pick up the phone so I decided to come back an hour later. I came back at 3:45 and the sign still says they are out for lunch. I drove around the area with my son and came back around 4:15 and the lunch sign was taken off but the closed sign was put up even though their business hours say they close at 5! Save your time and money and take your service elsewhere if you don't want to waste your time waiting around for these two to learn how to run a business and keep their customers. First off...these barbers deserve the full 5 stars! Everyone that I saw that walked out each had a cut that I envied. For the past 10+ years I have been going to a barber in Lakewood. I have been reluctant to try anyone new. Since living in the Pasadena/Arcadia area for the past 4 years I have tried only 2 new shops and that was enough for me to stick to driving to Lakewood. Today that all changed! After reading a few reviews I decided to try Infamous Barber Shop. I got David/"Juice"'s chair. I normally get a razor fade with a 3 on top and I normally get a cut every 2 weeks with my normal barber. This being the 2nd week it was time to get a cut and I wanted to start doing something different. Juice asked what I wanted and I told him that I wanted to start growing out my hair more toward a parted parted combover, but my my concern was that my hair was to short. Man.. He did a miracle! I couldn't be anymore happier with my cut. Of course I asked question and he didn't hesitant to answer. My major question was how do I exactly ask for the cut next time because I would like to be consistent on where I was headed with my hair style. He explained to me what to ask for and suggested the hair product to use. He even told me his hours and days off and gave me the heads up on when his busiest days are.
