    Sanchez - great food!

I was having my car worked on next door and tried this place. This was during the heat wave, when the temperature was in the triple digits. They have moved some of the tables outside due to the pandemic and made accommodations inside to keep customers apart and cool while ordering. Though the place was busy, they had my order done very quickly. It was excellent, and the service was great. Sanchez is a little Oasis, and I heartily recommend it.

Good tacos at good prices. I think it was 89 cent tacos. Carnitas, asada, chicken and pastor are just some of the few options they have taco wise. They have a whole lot more on their menu. I personally like the pastor and asada. Chicken is hit or miss sometimes it's dry other times its good. No complaints other than that. Good taco Tuesday spot.

Under my nose. Doggone it. Right under my nose. And I refused to see it. Sanchez Tacos has been in the same location for a long, long time. It is a tiny spot in a non-descript neighborhood strip mall close to home. But if it weren't for a yelp friend, Pancho V. by name, who lives in another county altogether, I most likely would have ignored this place until I died. Thank you, Pancho for giving me a slap in the face, well, figuratively speaking. Bright and colorful south of the border décor, complete with boisterous Mariachi music piped in, clean and neat, with an excellent salsa bar, a juice bar surrounded by mouth wateringly fresh fruit, and pictures decorating the wall of all their rich home style entrees, soups and sandwiches, it was hard not to be impressed. We went for the gusto so we could understand why this little place had so many admirers. Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (shrimp in garlic butter), street tacos, chile relleno, and one crispy shelled taco were our choices. Laden with our choices of salsas from the self serve bar, we decorated then dove it. And never looked back. The shrimp, tender from intuitive cooking and just the right amount of garlic. The chile relleno. Loved the batter, not too thick, covering a big fat Pasilla chile. And a lovely, mild Mexican cheese filling. The tomato sauce, thicker than I am familiar with, was simple but so good. Tacos - So many choices, but we ended up with al pastor (superb), carnitas (yum), carne asada (ahhh!), buche, lengua, shredded beef. All amazing and full of meat. I would not hesitate to try the remainder of the meats offered. On the menu at 99 cents each, you can be even more thrifty on Tuesdays and steal them for 60 cents each. Rice - rich, orangey red color, well seasoned. Beans - flavorful and most likely fried in lard (for those who need to know). And found on a follow up visit, their breakfast burrito (filled with ham, bacon, and sausage, perfect potatoes, cheese (ask for cheddar!), and delicious eggs) are magnificent. BTW - Happy Hour is between 8 and 11 pm on Tues thru Sat. This means tacos are 60 cents, besides some other great deals on appetizer platters, and imported beers for $3. Loved, loved, loved everything we tasted. Loved the prices. Loved the serving sizes too. One word of warning! Most of their salsas are bordering on hot to hubba bubba hot for this super wimp. They have good roasted flavors, but I would ask before imbibing, unless you already know that hot is your thing. They open at 9 am. And nice thing, if you find yourself hungry after most places are already closed, Tuesday through Saturday they stay open until 11 pm. Consider yourself real lucky.

Authentic Mexican food, fair prices, amazing salsa bar and they serve Al Pastor, count me in! I would have never found this place tucked away in an old strip mall if it was not for yelp. Tons of easy parking out front, plenty of seating inside. It gets really full at lunch given the cheap prices. Service is nice, food comes out quickly. We had one of each tacos, all the meats, fish and they were all pretty tasty. The asada fries were a miss, fake cheese sauce instead of real cheese, chewy meat, made you sick after a few bites, not worth the money. My son had a kids meal, burger and fries for $3, you can't beat that, good size, actually pretty tasty as well. Support local businesses and skip chain restaurants and come here, they work very hard and I wish them well.

Tacos are amazing here! Especially for Taco Tuesday, because seriously, how could a $0.60 street taco be wrong? There's always lines of people, and there's always people at tables. Went here for lunch today, and the food came out really fast. Here's what I've tried: Al Pastor Taco - Good flavor, and the marinade gives it a light sauce covering of yumminess. Carne Asada Taco - Also, good flavor. One the best I've tried. Carnitas Taco - Again, good flavor. More juicy than crispy. Chorizo Taco - It looked great, but as much as I love chorizo, some places just don't appeal to my taste buds. It's way too spicy for me. My mouth wouldn't stop burning. For those that love heat, go try this. From what I could taste, it seemed pretty good. The street tacos come with two soft but crispy tortillas and the meat. You have to add cilantro, onions, and sauce (if you want) at the salsa bar (DON'T FORGET IF YOU ORDER TO GO). For those complaining about the salsa cups, just add your salsa to your tacos before you leave. They give you the aluminum foil for the top of the plate, just re-wrap it, and you'll be fine. The food is already as cheap as you can get, you can't expect them to lose money on plastic containers too. With a $0.60 price tag, and the fact these tacos are great compared to a lot of other places, you MUST TRY. Seriously, not like it'll cost much to try this place on a Tuesday. Now, they have a happy hour from 8 to 11pm, which has the $0.60 tacos. I'm not really sure what days it's on, because their flyer wasn't specific. But in case you have that taco craving, call them to see about that happy hour price.

Shredded Beef nachos, carnitas torta, and a horchata.

I have frequented Sanchez Tacos many times but have always opted for their tacos, which were usually good. Today, I wanted to try something different, so I ordered Shredded Beef Nachos, a Carnitas Torta w/ fries, and a horchata through Postmates. The nacho chips were stale and soggy, as they used nacho cheese sauce, which also tasted old. The fries were not quite cooked all the way through, and the torta seemed to be lacking salt. Todays meal was a miss, but overall their tacos are okay. Good horchata though.

I like their Taco Tuesday and Taco Friday's because of their huge discounts on the tacos. But the problem is the tacos are too small and their meat is too chewy. Unfortunately their meats are not cooked to order, but they are pre-cooked which means they are going to be hard and chewy since they are not freshly cooked.

To Quote another Yelper's review: "Authentic Mexican food the real deal and extremely cheap, menu ranges from tacos, burritos and some foods that I haven't heard before, dishes that you won't find in Del taco ect." FYI: To ALL who can hear me..... Del Taco, Taco Bell is NOT Mexican food so UNLESS the food is HORRIBLE and a poor excuse for Mexican food PLEASE don't compare. /facepalm I'd call Sanchez Tacos a hidden gem, the reason is you can easily drive by this place and not notice it, I did and had the address written down!, it's in one of those strip plazas that sits back off the street but did have other businesses in front. They have a large menu selection including daily specials like Tuesday Tacos for .50 cents!, they also have SIX flavors of Aguas Frescas http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fmEndRk4HoCJL2lDw89tGA?select=zeD_uOaBkYxdtKEVgQFmYw I noticed they have Birria de Res y Chivo (Sat & Sun only) so I ordered some de Chivo and a couple tacos. Tacos - $0.99 - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fmEndRk4HoCJL2lDw89tGA?select=R2sb00YJOiwrun2ElY_W_Q Carne Asada, Al Pastor y Carnitas tacos are small. Carne Asada - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fmEndRk4HoCJL2lDw89tGA?select=TTi_PptbyvbckVObhQPCFg I'd prefer it be cooked a bit more but the meat was lean, tender and flavorful. 4-Stars Al Pastor - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fmEndRk4HoCJL2lDw89tGA?select=1LtXKUwY_FSS80C24XXV9Q Above average in flavor though nothing to WOW you, just a very good taco. 4-Stars Carnitas - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fmEndRk4HoCJL2lDw89tGA?select=aVBUDXFJkFjFdjEl8BwovQ Nice combination of crispy and moist pieces of pork. 4.5-Stars Birria de Chivo - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fmEndRk4HoCJL2lDw89tGA?select=oC6KAj9XXQJboG9TFjrBpg They offer two sizes Med & Large this is Med, the caldo or broth can make or break any soup or stew and this caldo can stand up to some of the top Birrieria's in Mexico!. The goat meat http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fmEndRk4HoCJL2lDw89tGA?select=gSqN7qlolW967Fc7GEtUpw was very flavorful, not too much fat and did have a few bones, some places serve the birria with or without bones, so since this is common no points off although I prefer boneless. 5-Stars Avg: 4.375

What a gem in Corona. Really cannot beat their Taco Tuesday deal with 69 cent tacos. They are closed on Mondays and only accept credit or debit cards on purchases over $7, so just bring cash! Tacos are your typical street tacos. Their salsa bar is one of the better ones I've seen, plenty to choose from to top your tacos. Good amount of seating inside the place too.Definitely will be back for more tacos!

They exceeded all expectations! Man, the food was abundant and delicious!!!! The Quality of the meat was outstanding, even two days later the leftovers were still moist, and there was no fat in the pulled pork! The salads were fantastic, obviously homemade and I am very very picky about potato salad! It was delicious! As was the mac & cheese. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them!

From our very first interaction, Berkeley went above and beyond to earn our business and was a joy to work with throughout the process. He was enthusiastic about accommodating our theme and budget, created a menu to please all palates, and was very responsive to communication and requests including, timely submission of paperwork to the venue. On our big day, the staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in what they were doing which made the experience even more special for us and our guests. Berkeley arrived early with a giant smoker in tow, and proceeded to prepare an amazing barbeque, served buffet style by his professional staff. At the end, Berkeley's team made sure everything was set out so we could continue to nibble throughout the day. The food was incredible!! On Berkeley's recommendation, our entrees included juicy lemon pepper chicken breast, sliced for ease of serving, thick pieces of high quality, smoked salmon, and the most flavorful rosemary tri-tip packed in a dry rub Berkeley credits to his father. Side dishes included, bow tie macaroni and cheese oozing with a cheese blend that complimented the entrees, brightly colored smoked vegetables, and "to die for" mashed potatoes. Salad, with Berkeley's special dressing, and fluffy rolls rounded out the menu. Every single dish was packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and made with top-tier ingredients. Portions were generous, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. Don't forget to bring some "to-go" containers because your guests will be excited to take some home with them. I researched several BBQ caterers, including popular chain stores. Although I could have found a less expensive option, I could not have found anything approaching the quality, quantity, and service of Berkeley's Backyard Barbeque. So, if you're looking for a caterer who delivers not just amazing food, but a great overall experience, I highly recommend Berkeley's Backyard Barbecue. They helped make our wedding day unforgettable.
