The website they tell me I must use to pay and update my payment information has been down and will not allow me to update my credit card. When I call the corporate office, they acknowledged that the website is not working properly and that many customers are having trouble paying their fees. Their only option is to come in or I will be assessed late fees. They acknowledged the fact that I work out of the area but refuse to understand why I am unable to come in and pay in person. I have now made seven phone calls, sent emails and tried countless times to pay them via multiple methods but they refuse to take my payment. To threaten a customer with fees and tell them you are denying them access to their belongings because you refuse to accept their payments over the phone and your website is down is ridiculous. Judging by the fact that previous reviewers have been having the same issues for the past year, it sounds like management is more interested in scamming customers into late fees than actually taking payments. If you're looking for storage, stay away from Metro Self Storage on Summerlin.

Hailey was exceedingly rude from the start. I needed to ship a bracelet and asked which service would be the least expensive. Her nasty reply was, "I can't choose the service for you. " I said, "Fine but if you could give me an idea of the rates I could choose. ". Her answer (again nasty) was : "They're all within a few dollars". So I never did get an answer to my question. Then I asked about insuring the package for the value. Again nasty: "Go back where you bought it; they'll probably do it. ". I explained that I work for the company where I bought it. They do not. Then (nasty) she said, "Go to a pawn shop. "To my knowledge they do not do that. So I also question her knowledge. At that point I said I would go elsewhere. Hailey said, "You're really rude. ". Now I'd had enough so I said, "That's the pot calling the kettle black. ". On my way out Hailey said (very sarcastically), "Have a nice day. I love you. Went in to mail a pair of prescription glasses to my son that he left at my house…read more Asked for a USPS priority box to put them in and said I have packing bubbles that I will put in the box to protect them. The lady took the glasses into the back room, put them in a USPS box, but covered the box up with grey plastic so you couldn't see it was USPS priorioty. I shook the box and the glasses were clearly not protected and rattled back and forth in the box. She proceeded to say that she goes to class to learn how to pack and it was fine. I tried to take them out of the box to put the packing in. She grabbed the box from me and took it back to her back room. I told her please just give me the glasses back. She got defensive and couldn't understand what the problem was. I don't trust this business and will never go back, very weird that you can't just mail USPS priority mail, I suspect they want to charge more than the flat rate shipping. I went to the post office just a few miles up the road, got the USPS box I wanted, packed the glasses the way I wanted and got the flat rate shipping. It was worth the extra few miles and minutes time it took to be sure they were mailed safely and without being over charged.
