Stopping into this little Tex-Mex Chili joint just blocks from the central train station made me feel at home. Their menu isn't extensive, but what chili shop's isn't? I went for the "Classic." What I got wasn't quite what a Texan would call "Chili." It had beans in it, which is a Cardinal Sin in the Lone Star State. Big no-no. But I guess they are Finnish, so I can't fault them too much. The meat was the smallest bit I've ever gotten in a chili bowl- but it was layered thick and deep with fresh tomatoes, cheddar cheese, onions, lime, and tortilla chips. The presentation was wonderful- it was colorful and looked delicious! The interior was small- they can only accommodate 5 diners, tops. But the cozy space inside is a great way to get out of the snow, and get some down-home Tex-Mex cooking! They play Spanish music over the speakers, but the staff doesn't speak it. The place is attractive, with cute water bottles, and fun place settings. It's a really nice looking spot, and they do make a welcome bit of my state's cooking. Bless their hearts!

The best choice on the menu is pizza and the mexican starters are most likely made from prefabricated and mass-produced frozen stuff. The highlight is what seems to be a homemade guacamole... Poor selection of beer and the pay at the counter and pick up your own stuff makes this place nothing more than a service less mexican style sports bar. And there are better sports-bar choices close by.

The food is lukewarm and probably prepared somewhere else and just thrown into a fryer at the kitchen. Cheese is disgusting and nachos are wet, hamburger steak has a structure of a shoeheel and fries are merely warmish. Service guy barely spoke, and the lady charged extra for starters guacamole while the main course had guacamole as much as we would have wanted. Unfortunately Helsinki has only very few Mexican places and this one is the one that somehow survived throughout the years, but nothing in the food or service letsnus understand why it is so. Avoid.
