I have generally enjoyed living at San Milan, but the way the community has handled the pool area this summer has been extremely disappointing. Summer is when residents use the pool and outdoor amenities the most, yet the majority of the lounge chairs have been removed for repairs or refurbishment, leaving very limited seating. At the same time, management has decided to postpone resurfacing the pool deck until the fall. As a result, the existing pool deck becomes unbearably hot during the very season when residents should be able to enjoy it the most. This feels like poor planning and a lack of consideration for the people who pay to live here. Routine maintenance and improvements are understandable, but scheduling them in a way that significantly reduces the usability of one of the community's main amenities during peak season is frustrating. Waiting until after summer to address the pool deck completely misses the point. I expect better from a Mark-Taylor community. Residents pay premium rent with the expectation that amenities will be available, maintained, and enjoyable when they're needed most. I hope management reconsiders how it plans future projects and puts resident experience at the center of those decisions. read more

Beware of renting at San Milan: - The apartments have thin walls, you will hear your neighbors every move. - The apartments have very old and inefficient AC units which are extremely noisy and constantly running especially during summer. You will pay a lot for electricity during the summer. - The individual garages, which are under most second floor apartments, have extremely noisy doors and you will have neighbors either at midnight or 5am opening and closing them. Even if you are on the third floor you will be woken up by the garage doors noise. - Construction of the Porsche dealership is also a source of noise, bad smells and dirt. It's been going on for 6 months now. - They do not enforce their own rules regarding dogs. You will see Dobermans, Rottweilers, aggressive Rhodesian Ridgebacks and aggressive Pitbulls. read more

The love affair has ended. We were planning to renew our lease but one thing after another finally convinced us to leave. The final straw was the introduction of yet another forced "amenity" of using the service Fetch. $35 would be automatically added to our renewal for our convenience. There is no opt-out. Doesn't matter if you ever use it. We did take advantage of the valet trash but of course, we were not pro-rated for the nights they didn't pick up. We were thoroughly unimpressed by the staff reaction to community uproar about the Fetch amenity. Opinion after opinion was expressed that this service wasn't wanted or needed and staff responded by repeating the benefits of Fetch and also mentioned how great it was that a Pilates class was starting. Finally, the community was told that their feedback was being passed onto corporate and that yielded the big nothing we all expected. The coffee bar amenity would be closed because of an event in the activities center and residents weren't notified. Make no mistake - you are living in Mark Taylor's house. That point was emphasized over and over during our stay there. Resident input is not taken into consideration. It is a nice community and there are a fair amount of costs to living there. read more

I loved living here. The maintenance crew is top notch and they make sure the grounds and pool area are spotless. Management is super friendly. Everyone I met in the community was very nice. I felt safe living here. The move in and out process was easy. The gym is beautiful. The only complaint were people who wouldn't pick up their dog poop but neighbors will call them out. I would definitely recommend living here. Mainly professionals and older adults here. Not a party scene and I hope it stays that way. read more

I recently moved out of the San Milan apartments after a three-year stay. I'd highly recommend the San Milan property, as it's like staying at a five-star resort! Fabulous amenities, beautiful landscaping and modern, updated apartments. What struck me even more is the care they put into making sure that the entire complex is always in "show quality" condition. The staff is friendly and helpful, particularly Amy Smith, who helped me many times with special requests around deliveries or renting one of the fully furnished guest apartments that are available for residents. Add San Milan or their sister complex, San Portales, to your must-see list! read more

I've lived at San Milan for the last year and a half and I can confidently say that you will find no better place to call home. If you're looking for a place with an incredible gym, beautiful pool, pristine landscape, or gorgeous view of the desert to the North then San Milan is the place for you. Furthermore, the staff here is unmatched in class. They are courteous, professional, and there for your every need. The maintenance team responds to requests almost immediately, the security employed is sure to make you feel safe and comfortable, and the leasing team is par none. Finding San Milan is without a doubt the best thing that could have happened to me after living in several different states and many different apartment complexes. Make your way into the leasing office, find your home, and thank me later. read more

The best rental experience of my life. From the management to the office staff and maintenance team, 5 stars. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. read more

Pros: Spacious living areas, ample storage, larger bedrooms, nice pool. Close to shopping. Fridge is nice. Nice dog park. Cons: NO COLD or COOL water. Neighbors say they never have it- I experienced June-October. Office said that is just AZ. NO IT IS NOT. That is how YOUR pipes are, and how it was built. That doesn't work if you need to wash produce, don't want to shrink your clothes, or like cool showers in 120 degree weather. San Milan deposit fees- either $450.00 non-refundable, or $1,300.00 possible refundable. $35.00 a month to take your trash out? No choice. First day moved in- ants everywhere. They said they would spray, but they didn't. $120.00 monthly garage fee. $15.00 credit builder monthly fee. Office scheduled a pre walk thru for move out. We agreed on date and time frame: 1-3pm. I waited. NOBODY showed. I asked the maintenance head at 2:50pm when he was coming, and he knew nothing about it. No apology from Amy for wasting my time. Unprofessional. We signed a short term 3 mo lease. At lease end, it would be month to month they would take away their premium charge and it would be just 20% of the base rent rate. 9/01/24 bill they charged both. It was Labor Day weekend, and we paid it so we wouldn't be late- but we emailed that they over charged us $310.00. They admitted their mistake, and said they would credit our account. It never went on our card, and they then said they don't give refunds they would hold on to it until we move, and take it out of what we owe for expenses. That was OUR MONEY(we already gave a deposit) and they illegally held our property for over 5 weeks. Non consistent air conditioner. One room so cold the other not even cooled off. Dishwasher always left spots. Outdated paint color and granite. Cheap laminate and ugly carpet. High application fees. No elevators with three steep floors. read more

I implore everyone to read the small print and not listen to a word they say. I was under the impression I had 2 weeks to six weeks no cost after my next months rent, but I was wrong. I switched apartments upon move in and whoa and behold, I get no discount. Again, read the small print and do not ever trust this group. Ever. read more

Really it's a 4.5 star review of the property and a 3 star review if Mark Taylor. We signed our lease in February 2020, moved in in May, moved out in October (into our house), and the lease wrapped up at the end of December. Ive lived in various apartments throughout the country, and this one is my favorite, based on amenities and services, layout and location. The pros about the property: 1. Beautiful apartments 2. Great Landscaping/Grounds team 3. Tall ceilings (I'm tall - total bonus!) 4. Lots of outlets throughout 5. Master bedroom access to balcony 6. Assigned covered parking x1 space 7. Amenities provided by the office staff / gym - when able to use them 8. Don't hear neighbors talking, snoring, dogs barking 9. Nearby restaurants 10. Nearby freeway access 11. Crown molding on ceilings 12. Island in kitchen 13. Valet trash 14. Double sink makes for doing dishes easier 15. Two bathrooms in 2+ bedroom units 16. The view 17. Access to nearby walking trails The cons about the property: 1. The road noise from Princess Drive is unbearable!! This depends on what side of the complex you live. 2. Dim lights in walk-in closet and in kitchen. 3. Dishwasher is small and does a sub-par job. 4. Although seven internet hookups located throughout apartment, only one works, and it's not in a location that works with my husband's work-from-home job. 5. Very common that daily mail not delivered until after 5pm. Mostly delivered after 7pm. 6. A/C is really loud, can hear other apartments A/C's turn on and running as well. 7. Slamming doors. More common than it should be. Some are violent. Doors do automatically close under weight. 8. Pandemic relief - cannot access gym for a couple months but instead of offering reduced rate because we can't use all of the amenities we're paying for, Mark Taylor announces a price increase for short-term rentals and month to month - by 20%!!! 9. Computer room - no phone service. Cannot be on the phone with the office while guiding you through a form, or fielding a call. Cannot receive or send texts. You have to walk outside and come back and forth. It's ridiculous. 10. Communications for property-wide maintenance issues are either poorly planned, or last minute and poorly planned. Complications will often go out just a couple of hours before these projects go into effect. Examples include letting everyone know the pool is closing for 24 hours, two hours before it does (twice), or the parking lot resurfacing without a backup plan for where cars will park in the meantime or adequate shuttle accommodations until after the project has started. Even though Management warned of parking enforcement / towing in multiple communications, it was not enforced. 11. New Landlord / Management is more nice than he is effective / doesn't follow through with verbal warnings. Our overall experience was positive. We loved being close to the amenities of the area and fell in love with nearby restaurants, the views, and access to the 101. We found the move out process to be harder than it should have been. We understood that breaking our lease early would result in an extra $3000, so we ended up paying double rent (rent on the apartment plus our mortgage payment) for two months - not cool but we signed the paperwork. We were charged for utilities when we didn't live there, which although expected, were higher when we didn't live there than when we did (?!), which makes no sense whatsoever. We were charged administrative fees on top of the administrative fees for December, but it amounted to only $25; we otherwise got our full security deposit back. The handling of the pandemic was most of the reason why this wasn't a five star review. Because of COVID, certain amenities were not available to residents, but we were still paying for them, which wasn't cool. That was on Mark Taylor, as was raising fees quite a lot during a pandemic when a lot of residents were being furloughed from work or laid off (myself included). Bad move. The gym and pool were largely unaffected, but with periods where one or the other was closed due to concerns with COVID. When the gym was open, almost no one wore a mask, even the personal trainers who were simply supervising their clients. One of the flaws about this property was with new management. We believed the new manager was more nice than effective, so he was getting taken advantage of so he wouldn't get people too angry with him. One example was with the handling of mask wearing, the other was with dog poop throughout the property. It became so bad that the residents came up with a nickname for San Milan - "Shit on my lawn." The enforcement was met with empty promises. Would I recommend this property - yes. Would I move back to this property - also yes. read more

Amy, Bri and Reagan are amazing! I love my apartment so much! I feel like I'm at a resort on vacay! Pleasant vibes and the neighbors are quiet and to themselves. Amenities are TOP-TIER and the pool area is a dream! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE would give it 10 stars if I could read more

My husband and I lived at San Milan for 2.5 years and we loved it. The place has a resort feel to it with great amenities. The dog park was a plus for us since we have a doodle. The pool is huge, the gym is well kept with new machines, the clubhouse is spacious for events (I had my baby shower there) and has a kitchen, two bathrooms, and an awesome coffee machine. Our apartment was a one bedroom and was spacious enough for family/friends gathering. Honestly I'll miss our apartment lol Victor is an awesome manager. Any reviews that say otherwise are bogus. He was on top of everything, he knows all residents by name and he becomes like family. I had many good conversations with him and he loved to play with our doodle Simba lol the maintenance staff is quick to fix things (not much to fix though other than slow drains) and they would even go above and beyond. For example, Victor (maintenance, not manager- same name lol) even offered to change the AC filter after he fixed the tub drain. Such an honest and kind man. Dave was another maintenance man who was amazing. Everyone says hi to you and seems to be happy to help with anything. I'll truly miss this place and it's wonderful staff. Thank you for everything you guys. You're all awesome and we'll miss you! God bless and Merry Christmas! We moved out because we finally got a house :) read more

UPDATE: San Milan recently addressed the drainage in the dog park. Hopefully this will no longer be a problem. Thank you San Milan. have enjoyed living in San Milan, a Mark Jacobs community, but I moved here knowing I would be getting a larger breed puppy that would need lots of exercise. Upon first sight, this community has a beautiful dog park. I was sold! Unfortunately, every day for last 7 months, the dog park had been full of water- which is full of urine and feces. Our dogs are getting sick, requiring antibiotics. We have reached out to management with no response or acknowledgement. If you have a beloved dog, don't move here. The dog park is unusable and dangerous. read more

"I cannot wait to move!!!! The issue isn't the property as much as its with the management here. The rents are on par with nicer communities. Save your money and your time, lease anywhere but here. I would leave a 17 paragraph review but everyone covered the issues already. The one thing that annoyed me more then anything was when I had to pick up a package from the office, I waited 45 minutes because they rather talk in the back then work at the desk, after calling 14 times (I was standing in the office) they did not stop talking once to answer the phone. I also enjoy the drag races late at night and the super "cool" guy with the loud a$$ Porsche that loves to go 45 in the parking lot. RUN!" This was my previous review.... I was contacted by upper management and was treated like I mattered. When I told them what has happened they stopped listened and reacted. Since the conversation on-site management has changed and is a ton better. As you can see I gave it 3 stars due to the price per quality, don't get me wrong it is nice but the prices are on the same level as a few nicer communities in the area. I would recommend checking it out, it might be something you would consider. read more

I assure you that the issue with the dog park hasn't been solved. Still has water backing up and it's nasty! I'll never understand the need to water a dog park so much. The dryer the better. I lived at San Milan for a little over a year. I actually just moved from there unfortunately. I really really love the complex. It's always very clean, and they definitely cater to the families that live there. The property manager Victor is extremely nice and considerate. He's very professional, I can honestly say he absolutely has the tenants best interest at heart. The staff in the management office are all nice, the security and grounds keepers are all awesome. If anybody thinks the stay here is a little high priced, I would say it's very much worth it. I'm extremely bummed I had to leave, but I couldn't refuse my job offer in a another state, or I'd absolutely be renewing my lease there. Definitely looking forward to moving back. If I could give San Milan, Victor, and the staff 10 stars I would. read more

We arrived at San Milan, a Mark-Taylor luxury apartments community over two years ago. Talk about top quality courtesy, cleanliness, and facilities. The office staff is led by Victor and the maintenance team by Mike. I am shocked at the reviews I have read on here. I have been a resident at San Milan since Nov. 2015. I have had very little to complain about.. Loud upstairs neighbor. Office took care of it quickly. The mosquitos were bad but luckily through several aggressive efforts this to was taken care of. Now the list of awesome you get here at San Milan. The views are amazing both of the mountains & the city but also the grounds are very beautiful. The fitness center is nice if not nicer than a gym plus bonus no fee to use it. Always kept clean & surprisingly never over crowded. The heated pool is awesome. We were able to have our sons birthday at the pool in December. The gorgeous seating areas are very nice to sit and relax with enjoying the fire or catching a game on one of the many TV's. The clubhouse is spacious and very nice to grab a cup of tea or relax with friends at. We are grateful for this additional space as we have a large amount of family coming in town, November & have rented it for a Thanksgiving dinner. There are 2 guest apartments available to rent here & have booked those as well for our families coming for our wedding later this year. Our little dog loves to play at the spacious dog park & we love that the lights are available for him to run around even at night. Our neighbors are very friendly and courteous. There are so many benefits to living here, location, amenities & the beautiful apartment interiors. If you are considering living at San Milan you have made a wise choice!! The staff has always treated us well & taken care of any concerns both inside & outside our apartment home. Take a look for yourself you won't be disappointed in this fabulous community. read more

So the only 5 star review on this community is from an employee, that should tell you enough right there. The community itself it beautiful, and the apartments themselves are laid out nicely and have plenty of room/storage. We were extremely happy when we stumbled across these and leased immediately, WHOOPS. Unfortunately this is not the end of the story... The onsite management team is nothing short of atrocious. I have brought several concerns to Kaycee the manager only to be dismissed like a kid asking for a new toy from their parent. She has no regard for the tenants concerns and usually ducks into her office and shuts the door if she sees one coming. My first issue was with my downstairs neighbor smoking, this is a smoke-free community, or at least so I was told. Instead of enforcing this clause in the lease they made me wait 3 months for the tenants lease to end, meanwhile my apartment smells like an ash tray and I can't even open my doors or windows because he smoked on the patio too, yay! My second issue is an ongoing one that they also don't give a damn about. When we moved in the dog park was still under construction outside of the building we selected (it was the only one available in the floor plan we wanted). I was informed at that time that the dog park would be open from 8am-10pm and that excessive barking would not be tolerated, that second part is also on the rules posted for the park. Now that the park is complete, and the surrounding buildings are as well, it's seeing a ton of action. Now I knew that I was up for barking, but it's absolutely ridiculous. There is a large number of dog owners in this community that don't give a damn that it's 6:00 AM and their dog is barking, they just sit there and let it go nuts for 10, 20, 30 minutes (wish I was exaggerating). That brings me to the most aggravating park, 6:00 AM, yes the hours posted are 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.... that's not what I was sold on, and that's certainly not what I signed up for. Now you may think that you can just live in another building right? Sure...enjoy all the dog crap, beer bottles, and other goodies the party crowed here love to just leave around. I may seem like I'm ranting, but this community has really struck a nerve. This price point should deliver better customer service, and a delivery on the promises made when the lease was signed. read more

This property is nice and that it !!! high rent !! ...The management team can care less about the residents that live here, when you goes into the office the manager Kaycee run into her office to keep from speaking with you and having contact with the residents ( You see a smile only when you paying rent on the first of each month. In the lease it stated that this property is a SMOKE FREE community, residents goes to the back of property and smoke by the trash bin area during leasing office hours all times of day and night hours. Also some resident walking there dogs and smoking electronic cigarette and leaving there pets waste behind. What the purpose of having security, you never see them walk the property. Security at the gate for what ( only for show) They live on there computer always having there head down, letting other cars pig back and come through the property. The noisy level is so loud the management team does nothing to make sure that residents can sleep and live in peace,They sweep things under the rug hoping that you forget about them. The property in going down fast. read more

This property is FANTASTIC - everything from the amazing leasing office team to the brand new units to the location and being convenient to so many things. We have lived in over 100 properties all around the world and San Milan makes the list in the top 5. We have been residents for almost a year and came here after living in a home. Going from a home to an apartment is a big transition and we looked at over 50 places before we landed at San Milan. Believe me, we had our list of "pickiness" and San Milan blew it away. The price is on par with what you would pay for something this nice and we would pick this place every time over the alternatives. Every interaction we have had with the leasing office has been positive. The team greets each resident with genuine concern and they provide outstanding customer service. I have to say though, my husband and I are also very realistic on expectations and understanding what things can actually be fixed versus those things that you really "can't fix". We think the leasing office goes above and beyond, yet it seems it is never good enough for some residents, which is sad. I think people forget everyone has a role to play and residents should be accountable too and not point the finger or blame the leasing office for things they can't fix or resolve. Nothing is perfect and you will always have some hiccups here and there which is part of life. Yes, there are times when we see "this" or we hear "that", but it's not the end of the world and these "little" things don't change any perspective we have regarding San Milan because they are "little", not material. This is NOT a party property, it's not dirty and it's definitely not a LOUD, disturbing community. For the most part, residents keep to themselves, try to be courteous and it's fairly quiet. I think at times, the courtesy patrol has to remind resident's that it's after 10pm. We live right next to the dog park and yes, some times it can be loud, but it's not out of control nor is it ALL the time. Frankly, this loudness is on the resident's and the leasing office does the best they can to remind residents to be respectful of others. You have to remember over 400 residents live here and they all come with their own upbringings, personalities and lifestyles. Eventually we will buy a home and I can say we will genuinely miss Kaycee, Kimberly, Danielle, Andy and the maintenance team. We LOVE San Milan and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new home in the Scottsdale / Phoenix, AZ area. You won't be disappointed and you do get incredible value for the money you spend. Thank you San Milan for all you do to make our community an amazing place to live. read more

The apartments themselves are awesome. I love the layout and the appliances are all new and nice etc. That's the only reason this place gets one star. The people in the leasing office are absolutely horrible. They don't care about the lives of the tenants at all. Whenever it rains there is always standing water...which causes a huge mosquito outbreak. As I'm writing this I currently have over 20 bites on me from walking my dog around the complex. Every single tenant has complained to the leasing office and they just make excuses: "It's coming from the retention pond and we emailed the City of Phoenix about it". NO - it's coming from the damn standing water on the grass in the middle of the complex because someone designed the drains to be above the lowest point. WATER DOESN'T FLOW UPHILL - there is a HUGE design flaw. Furthermore, the tenant in the apartment next to mine constantly has cockroaches and I know another tenant that has had multiple baby tarantulas in that apartment. Here is the response of the leasing office to the mosquito issue: we're going to set mosquito strips and check them WEEKLY. If any strip has more than 6 mosquitos they'll call the pest control company and the area will get sprayed. Well...that's all well and great...BECAUSE A SIMPLE GOOGLE SEARCH WILL TELL YOU THAT IT ONLY TAKES 7-9 DAYS FOR A LARVAE TO HATCH. SPRAY THE ENTIRE GROUNDS!!!!!!!!! All the other complexes in the area are PROACTIVELY fogging. San Milan leasing office is sitting on it's heels doing nothing. But they are proactive in one aspect - they are censoring the community discussion board. One tenant posted a picture of their dog with mosquito bites all over it's snout and people were outraged. THE NEXT DAY THE POST WAS GONE. I even called the corporate office to see if they knew about the issue. Of course no call back. UPDATE: Yes, I spoke with Michael at the corporate office. He assured me there would be an email and a formal letter sent to tenants detailing steps MT will take, but until I see follow through it's hard to believe seeing as how the leasing office has sent multiple emails to tenants about what steps they are taking but nothing has happened. Empty promises don't help the situation. Michael told me he is going to the property today to see how bad it is. I look forward to hearing his thoughts. read more

My wife and I are in our late 50's and wanted a nice quiet deluxe apartment community in Scottsdale. We looked at everything out there and (ALL) of the Mark Taylor properties were 1st class, they just get it! This is more like gated deluxe condo living than apartment. They have a workout room with spin classes & yoga, coffee bar & club house and pool area all which are perfectly maintained daily. There is a great bike trail & easy hiking trail just at the west end of the property. Here you will see endless amounts of wildlife and flowers (in season). All the units have high end appliances and finishes and Andre the community manager runs a great property with very friendly & helpful staff. Most of the current residents we talked to before we moved in have been here since San Milan first opened 3 years ago and are also extremely satisfied. Do you here foots step above you of coarse it's a 3 story apartment complex. But they are very faint and don't bother either of us. We are currently a resident of San Milan. Dog Owners: If you're moving here just like we did for the dog park.... Beware! They recently changed the dog park hours due to a couple of crabby residents that complained about noise that live near the park. They literally lock it up at night and forget to open it in the morning. It's super inconvenient! The old hours were 7am-10pm they are now 7ish am- 9pm. If you're an 8-5 work schedule you'll be fine. I personally have a hyper dog and like to run out her energy right before bed..... Hmmmm at about 9ish until after 9:30 sometimes...once I've finally settled into the house. Now my dog does not get to run and play...Thanks a lot San Milan and the crabby neighbors who are idiots for living on top of the dog park. You've just ruined the only time this sweet little Boston gets to chase a ball. The point is to future residents, they are very open to make MAJOR changes without even a beat! I am super frustrated about this because I leased with certain hours and now they are different. I would not have leased here had I known it would change without even consulting with dog owners. Not even a little detective work to see which dog "barks" at the late 9pm hour. Bottom line is... I do not go to a kid's play ground then complain about the kids screaming. If you are so worried about dog noise.... Why would you have moved near the park? Much less now complain? Come on San Milan, did you even think this through??? By the way, I am down there every night and I live very close to the park.... I have never had issues with noise nor do the dogs excessively bark. The owners here are actually pretty on top of their dog's barking. read more

My first impression of San Milan was rocky. It was clearly lunch time and they had just one leasing consultant left in the office. She was assisting future residents that were asking 1000 questions and would not leave. I waited a good 5-10 before it was my turn. What also struck me as odd is the way their leasing office is arranged. They have people stand next to this hotel check-in type desk. Why stand? Feels extremely unwelcoming. The leasing consultant I met with was a nice girl. My only small issue with her is that she was very scripted and robotic. I am not sure if Mark Taylor puts pressure on these girls to read the same script every time but it would be much better if all the details were not rambled on. Make it personal, treat me like someone you are trying to get to know. I felt like if I wanted to talk, I would be interrupting the script. I have no problem with this girl as she was very professional and nice, I just feel like the it could have been a much more casual, personalized sales pitch. On tour I was taken to view the amenities. For a brand new build and all the hype I heard surrounding this place, I was sadly disappointed. Sure everything is nice and new but they are nothing special. When we reached the model apartment and the vacant apartment, I was again left underwhelmed. It was all very nicely appointed with stainless appliances and wood floors but everything new looks exactly the same. I am just annoyed with all these cookie cutter rental communities. I wish Mark Taylor would step up their game. San Milan looks amazing from the outside driving in but left me craving more individuality. read more

I have been living at San Milan for over a year. I just renewed my lease for another 15 months.I love living at San Milan and feel like I am on vacation in a chic resort. I was the first person to live in my apartment. It is only about 820 square feet, but the layout is such that it seems very spacious. It has a huge walk in closet and tons of cabinets as well as a large island. The apartment itself is gorgeous, but the best thing about living at San Milan is the unbelievable staff. Kaycee,Kim, Andy , Char and Dave always greet me with a warm smile and show a genuine interest in my life. The maintenance crew, Randy, Jerry and Gaspar go way beyond the call of duty to assist me in any way they can.San Milan is also extremely dog friendly and offers a very large dog park to the canine residents . Sure there are a few things I would like to change- the oven should be self cleaning and the bathtub a bit wider, but on the whole San Milan is a safe, peaceful, well managed community where I hope to reside for many years to come. read more

I have lived at San Milan for almost three years and it's been great. I have not had issues here. The property is always clean. Office staff is always friendly the few times I have gone in there for things. If they are out and about in the community they will wave or say hello. There was one lady in the office who made you feel like you were wasting her time when I went in there one day but have not seen her around for awhile. Maintenance here is the best. They are on top of your requests. Most of the time they respond the same day you put in your request or the next day. I had issues with my dishwasher and put in a request Saturday night and they were here Sunday morning fixing it. People complain about mosquitos and management tries to address the issue and fix it with treatments but you have to remember they are part of nature, you get rain and humidity you can expect to have some mosquitos. How many other places can say they are actively trying to control mosquitos, not a lot. Overall I would recommend San Milan to anyone looking for a place to live. read more
