Available for short jaunts or trips to SF, Fremont, or Castro Valley. We call him for everything... To and from Bart, grocery shopping, etc. But two notable events are why he deserved a 5 star review. The first was at 2am when I was stuck in SF and my boyfriend LITERALLY showed up on his door step (he lives a couple blocks away poor guy lol) and convinced him in PJs to take him to pick me up in SF. And he did. The second time was when there was a shooting at Bay Fair Bart. The boyfriend and I were stuck getting off Bart at San Leandro after a ride from SF that was a little more than double the typical travel time. We waited an hour and 12 min for a shuttle that never showed in the 100+ minutes we waited. Plus with each passing minute, more and more people were waiting for the shuttle that in no way could hold that many people. My boyfriend and I started asking taxis for rides but no one took plastic (a major problem in the EB) so we had a few bucks cash, found two other guys that also had a few bucks and asked the mini-van cab to take us to Bart. "No no no- one person per taxi only).. WHAT??? ANYWAYS... We called our taxi driver who was there in a little under ten min and happily drove all of us. It's just nice knowing someone will always be there ten after you call.. So typically, as we live almost a mile from Bart, if we have things to carry, are in a rush, short on time .went grocery shopping]jogged too far with my canine pal, or just being lazy- We ALWAYS call him.
