This festival is usually pretty small and pretty much the exact same every year. The coolest part…read moreis that it's right by the Almaden Lake and that you get to have free sunflowers to walk around with. It's pretty much the same vendors, art, food, and music as it has been for the last 10 years. Parking is really difficult if even possible and you can do this whole thing in about an hour, maybe two. It's sub par

Decided to finally check this out as its right across the street from our place. There were a lot…read moreof cars on the street and many people enjoying the sunshine so we figured it would be a fun stroll. Lots of booths selling art, jewelry, and other crafty stuff. I liked the live music with them doing old song to new songs. In terms of food there was 2 food trucks and a bunch of booths. There was Mexican food, funnel cake, Indian food, Chinese Chicken salads, dots, lemonade, etc. This was all free entry so doesn't cost anything to walk around. We decided to get wine and boy that was a rip off but I guess its because it goes to charity. $7 for the wine glass and then another $7 or $9 (premium wine.) So one glass of wine was $14. It was definitely a big pour though. I was really more hoping to have a single glass and do some wine tasting. It was nice to get out of the house but definitely wouldn't go out of my way for this one.

My husband and I just hosted the masquerade-themed party at our house for my birthday…read more Communication with the company was perfect; we received an automated response saying they'd be in touch soon since we reached out initially on a weekend, someone got back to us on Monday, booking was easy, all questions were answered, and our actress (Diane) called us before the party as planned. Diane was right on time to set up the props she brought, which really added to our own set up and made everything look awesome. She was flexible when I mentioned we had people not interested in fully playing or who potentially needed to leave early--but those people ended up staying for the whole game because they were having a great time. The game is set up so everyone present can still feel involved and enjoy figuring out the mystery. When it was done, Diane quickly and quietly had everything packed up and loaded. We've never hired a company for this before but would definitely do it again with The Clue Collective and I feel confident in recommending them to others for a fun and creative activity!

Email replies were prompt, pre-show instructions were clear, and the team provided a detailed outline of how the show would proceed during dinner. There was a check-in by phone twenty-four hours in advance to review details and any changes I may have needed to share. Lace and the entire team of actors arrived on time and quickly got to work organizing the props and selecting guests to assume characters. The clever show proceeded in a smooth and timely fashion. The room was filled with laughter. They created a delightful and engaging evening for everyone present, including the waitstaff. Bravo, Clue Collective!

First step through the door and you are welcomed by the amazing artwork displayed on the walls…read more It's so incredible to see all of the talented artists! I love how their artwork gets acknowledge and recognized by their teachers. This place is amazing! It makes me want to be a kid and take art and music lessons. The front desk receptionists are so nice and easy to talk to. They went out of their way to help me find the right class for my nieces! There are so many amazing and gifted teachers at this school. All with a passion to teach and inspire youngs to love music. What a great mission and vision this school has! Definitely come by with your little ones and check it out. They offer different art classes from ages 4+ and music and singing classes as well. Those tends to vary based on teachers and schedules but don't worry there are plenty to choose from!!

Outstanding Art Education & an Exceptional Teacher!…read more My daughter studied art at Almaden School of Music & Art for several years, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. She progressed all the way through the program and worked with a wide range of media, including oil, acrylic, and pastel, building both strong technical skills and true artistic confidence. A very special shout-out goes to Vania Goranova, who was my daughter's main teacher. Vania is absolutely fantastic. She is deeply committed to her students' development. She knows how to guide each student according to their individual strengths, while maintaining high artistic standards. Her knowledge of multiple media and techniques is impressive, and her passion for teaching truly shows. Thanks to Vania's guidance, my daughter developed strong fundamentals, versatility across mediums, and a genuine love for art that will stay with her for life. We are incredibly grateful for the education and mentorship she received here. I highly recommend Almaden School of Music & Art to any parent looking for serious, high-quality art instruction -- and especially to anyone fortunate enough to study with Vania Goranova.

I am very disappointed with my experience with this dance teacher. Professionalism and…read morecommunication were major concerns. There were instances where I was spoken to in a raised voice over the phone, with the explanation that she was overburdened with work. While being busy is understandable, it does not justify disrespectful communication with parents. There was also a lack of transparency. My daughter's group positioning was changed multiple times without any prior communication or explanation. When I tried to ask questions, it felt like concerns were not welcomed, and parents were expected to follow decisions without discussion. Additionally, I was removed from the WhatsApp group without any prior notice, which was unexpected and unprofessional. Overall, I believe a teacher should demonstrate not only skill but also respectful communication and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

She charges full price as a proper studio would but when we go to her house her studio is the garage with stored boxes, bicycles and just house storage all around. There are no mirrors, no climate control. It was outright lie when she said she has a studio in her house which I was expecting to be a proper room with mirrors and that dance atmosphere. When I showed up for a subsequent class she left me waiting outside her house and her daughter told me she is teaching somewhere else so there is no class at her home. How unprofessional. She didn't notify me that class was cancelled and wasted my time. It took a lot of conversation and begging to make her understand that this doesn't work out for me for her to refund my money but that too I had to still pay for the first class which was in a garage. Ughh!! Such deceiving person. She could be a decent teacher but not an ethical business owner.
