It's all local history and they do an amazing job touching on all kinds of interesting things. From fossils, Native American art/history, automobiles, rocks and minerals and of course the rich citrus history. There's a lot of interaction parts to the museum for kids. My favorite is the citrus picking, packing and loading. There's also a STEAM Section in a separate building just outside the courtyard. If you have never been I suggest you give it a try!

They had so many various exhibits consisting of cars, dinosaurs, animals, hands on activities, arts made out of recycling items, and tons of other interesting things to see that you don't encounter anymore. They also have an outdoor seating area where you can have a nice picnic with your loved ones. Inside the gift shop, vending machines had prepared lunches you can purchase at your convenience like sandwiches and salads. Simple way to get lunch on the spot. We really enjoyed our time there and are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

We like to visit downtown Redlands often to browse the shops, the fun antique stores, and get a treat at Ala Minute. We often drive around to look at all the amazing homes, so a visit to Kimberly Crest House has been on our list for a while. I am so glad she thought of visiting. We drove out, bought our tickets, and then we had about an hour before our tour time, so we drove up through all the winding streets to discover more houses. We had our treat at Ala Minute, then headed back to start our tour. We had 3 separate hosts, and all were very nice, kind, and thorough. The grounds are beautiful, as was the interior. It was fun to hear the history of the mansion, all the owners, and that not only was the mansion connection to Kimberly Clark paper products, but Amelia Earhart was a friend of the family. And to know they were philanthropic was nice to learn. We really enjoyed our time, and I highly recommend a visit, you will enjoy it also.

From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by gorgeous stained glass windows and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. There are several inviting reading and learning rooms, plus a dedicated children's section that's perfect for little ones. Outside, there's a small but lovely garden with plenty of seating; ideal for enjoying a book on a nice day. I especially loved discovering the board where anyone can post a book review. It's a great way to engage with fellow readers and get new recommendations. My husband and I make it a point to support local businesses and community resources when we travel; signing up for a library card and following their event calendar is one way we connect with each new place. This library is truly a treasure, and we highly recommend stopping by whether you're a resident or just passing through!
