The sales lady was more than helpful when aiding me in my choosing of arch supports, and was exceedingly well-informed, having undergone a similar experience herself. When they didn't have exactly what I was after, she was more than happy to order it for me. Bonus points for super support and assistance, which was well needed, let me tell you. The pharmacy itself is a Holywood institution and is very much a customer-orientated chemists (as I learned). Sweeney's is one of the bigger independent pharmacies, offering a great range of perfume, makeup, toiletries and pharmaceutical stock at very affordable prices. My sister managed to find pressed powder for £2.99 (those bright yellow labels are incredibly alluring), and decided to purchase that. All in all, a very good experience was had at Sweeney's. If I need any kind of advice on medicines and the like (oh please no), I *will* be back.

No one likes going to the doctor, so if you have to go it may as well be as best an experience as you can manage, and that is what you get here. Appointments are easy enough to get and all staff, from reception to nurses and all the doctors are so nice. While doctors are constantly under pressure to see as many patients as possible under crippling time restraints, you never feel rushed, you are never just handed a prescription and sent on your way and you are listened to. Any time I have attended I have felt understood and respected and felt better! I hope you don't need a doctor, but if you do these guys have it all in healthy spades.

No unlucky conversations on this particular day, but I figured that the weather must have had an adverse effect on the staff for the lady who served me was a tad gloomy. And that was that. I've been a few times with minor ailments, nothing particular interesting or worth a story. An ear infection was about as interesting as it got, of which I needed two or three different appointments to solve. The staff working at the front desk are all very helpful and courteous. It wasn't too much trouble getting an appointment even though the problem wasn't serious, I think it was roughly a week from when I first called. They have a team of doctors and nurses, of varying ages and experience however all the medical staff I dealt with were fantastic. Quick, to the point but certainly not skimming the surface. They are also very good as far as booking and picking up prescriptions without appointment. If you're living in the south Belfast area as a student or a 'Maaalone' resident then you can't go wrong with this well structured, professional practice.
