We can't say enough about Aman and his team. They covered our 5-day wedding last May and went above and beyond at every event. They captured some our most favorite memories! We did not like our wedding video. It looks like they rushed through the editing, despite the fact that it took them over 3 months after we made the final payment to finish it. I had to email them at least 3 times to even get a response. And they didn't even bother to get our input on the background music for the highlights video, I absolutely hate the song they chose. At this point, I don't care to ask them to change it because the video itself is just terrible. it's way too fast paced, even though there are some parts that are meant to be slow. I found them on instagram, and their videos on instagram looked nice, but I think they only care for their clients who are "instagram famous". Also in the contract, it states that I am to get 2 DVDs and the raw footage. I only got a link to the highlights video, and full edited video on Vimeo. Again, my wedding video is terrible, I am not even sure I care enough to ask. read more

I was first introduced to Samson Pro after watching a friend of a friend's highlight video years ago. I remember I watched that highlight video over and over again because I thought all the memories were captured so perfectly! When it came time for my own wedding planning, Samson was one of the first vendors I contacted to get a quote. Although they seem pricey, they include a lot of great things in their package such a photo albums, parent albums, usbs, highlight video, engagement photo shoots, flights, accommodations, etc. I was impressed with how Aman (the main contact person for Samson) replied quickly and with an all inclusive quote plus tax (you will find that a lot of vendors fail to include all the small details in the initial quote they give you). After a lot of research, my husband and I decided they were our top choice! Here's a nice twist for you: Samson Pro is located in California, my husband is from Ohio and I am from South Carolina. Our wedding events were to be captured in BOTH SC AND OH! When explaining all the details to Aman, I made sure I was very thorough so there wasn't any confusion. Aman handled all of our conversations professionally and with much ease, constantly assuring me that they will have all of it covered and to sit back and relax. Samson Pro is strategic in how they handle multiple events on multiple days. They work with a lot of photographers and videographers all across the US to make sure all bases are covered, which we really appreciated. We especially LOVED working with Chris and Camilo! Shout out to them! They are our absolute favorite photographer and videographer from the Samson team. They have tons of experience and know exactly what they are doing. They are so personable and fun to have around. My husband and I truly enjoyed having them capture a majority of our events. PHOTO: The turn-around time for our photos only took a few weeks, it was super quick! I was shocked at how quickly Samson captured and sent over all of our pictures for us to begin viewing and making our final selection for our wedding album. The images were beautiful! The wedding albums turned out to be AMAZING. We've received so many compliments on how beautifully put together everything turned out. VIDEO: One of the things we really wanted at our wedding were Drone shots. One of the videographers had a drone, but because it was cold the morning of our wedding, the battery froze and the drone crashed and broke. So we weren't able to get the drone shots we originally had in mind. Aman worked with us though and had videographers go back to all the locations the day after to capture drone shots. At first I was angry... but I appreciated the effort put in by the team to make sure we had at least some aerial shots for our highlight video. When the first highlight video was presented to us, I am not going to lie, we were very disappointed because we felt it was rushed and didn't fit the vision my husband and I were hoping for. BUT I am pleased that Samson didn't give up on us (we are a pretty demanding and detail-oriented couple with high expectations lol). Every time I called or emailed Aman, he did what I asked until I was completely happy with the end result (it took us 5 tries to get it perfect). I absolutely Love our highlight video now. I have used Samson Productions for my wedding and I would DEFINITELY not use them again nor RECOMMEND them to anyone. I was researching for a reputable photographer and videographer when I came across a few of them. I did research just like anyone should with the COSTS vs WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING. I had met with Aman and he seemed like a nice guy when I had talked to him. He went over the information and we made the decision to go with him based upon recommendations from others. We paid him in FULL and on time before our event was even over and paid him HALF of the amount months prior to our event. Aman was nice until after the event, when we were asking to see drafts and a preview of our pictures and video. There was ALWAYS an ISSUE at his end by him claiming that he is having "technical issues with his computer" and we would suffer. We would suffer by him not returning our e-mails in time or the revisions in timely fashion. I can understand that issues do happen, but treat your clients with RESPECT. It is not a lot to ask for. He would always say that he would get back to us and he would ONLY get back to you when it was convenient to him. I would have to say, Aman's communication skills are HORRIBLE hands down as well as giving respect to his clients. You will only be treated nice until he cashes all your checks, then the TRUE colors are revealed when it comes to you customizing your albums and video. He's rude and demeaning when you ask for things to be changed because "it takes too much time to do" and puts him behind. He doesn't do things right the first time, and rushes the product just to wash his hands from the project. He will not return your e-mails until you call him to follow-up. I would definitely NOT recommend him as he puts your job ALWAYS on the back burner because he's behind on other projects. There are soo many other photographers and videographers out there. Don't put yourself at a disadvantage by going with Samson for a once in a lifetime event. Also, you check out the experience that Fatima Parisa had with Samson as well. Samson contacted us after finding out that we were dissatisfied with our end products asking us how they could make this up to us and how they could make it better. They were very prompt in responding and tried very hard to work with us to have a satisfied customer. They offered to reedit the entire video if we wanted or send us an enlargement photo frame of our choice from any of our wedding photos. They even offered us to send an additional album if we wanted. Finally, they offered to make this short 30 min movie reel of our mehndi and wedding combined, something new they started. We were pleased that they contacted us to help make things better since we were dissatisfied. We accepted the offer for an enlarged photo and 30 min short movie since they offered. They were prompt in delivery of these items. We appreciate that they offered those things above to try to make up for what happened originally. read more
