zero stars! I placed an order to be delivered to my house by 5:10. It was not there by 5:45 so I called the store and got hung up on twice! spend $170 no groceries! Drove to sams this morning to get my groceries and guess what they would not give them to me! TIRE SHOP ONLY - Got a lifetime rotate and balance. I left store and traveled interstate to lunch. The vibration started at low 60s and got worse with speed. Circumstances wouldn't make an immediate return to Sams possible. I live 45 minutes from Sam's and took my truck to a local shop because it would be days before I could return to Pearl. They correctly balanced the tires, no vibration. Tech guy said all tires were out of balance, and some had weights on top of weights. Don't waste your $ and time. read more

Well you have to pic a time slot for the curbside pick up. I had 2 orders 1 puck up 9-10 the second was 10-11. When we called at 10:30. They told us they were behind. We came about 11:00 and waited until 12;27 to get our small order and then they informed us that one of the items was not available and we had to call an 800 to get our refund. I had to evacuate for the hurricane and needed my second vaccine so I went to this Sam's. The pharmacist yelled and said it was 6:10 and they close in 50 minutes and she has other stuff to do so she didnt give me the vaccine. She should NOT have a job. GARBAGE customer service. I wonder if it had to do with the fact that I'm Hispanic and she was Black seemed a tad racist to me. I dont recommend anyone shop here. read more

This store needs to put more handicapped parking. Only 15 spaces and takes hours to get a spot if your lucky enough to ever get one. I know they are ADA legal but the point needs to take care of customers not just the minimum amount in a busy store. Also this store keeps dropping stock that many need and replace with products that just take up space. You will never get any help in any department since most employees want even speak most less take a minute to help. The only good thing about this store is the pharmacy staff. They are always great, call me by name like most customers at that counter. Really seems like the only department that even cares to have customers. read more

This Sams club is set up great and I love the variety of products. With that being said, the majority of the workers need better training. It seems that the only properly trained employees are at the customer service desk. We had a huge purchase and the cashier got confused over something and sent us to the customer service desk and suspended our purchase so we had to check out over there because she said it could only be handled with customer service. When we arrive to the customer service desk, the girl shakes her head and says all she needed to do was press this button. Now that's embarrassing. They need to do better. read more

I have been calling around all morning trying to find a tire for one of our vehicles. I had to call this Sam's Club a couple of times before I could get anyone to answer the phone, I'm sure due to it being Black Friday. After speaking to a young lady on the phone about the tire I needed I hung up the phone while speaking to my husband. A second later my phone rang. It will Millie calling me back because she thought I was speaking to her and our conversation got disconnected. I truly appreciated that level of service. No its not mounting my tires or anything, but it showed initiative, quality in her work, and excellent service. Thank you young lady. Keep up the good work! read more

The handicapped parking spots are constantly filled w illegal parkers w no plates or placards...Pearl police do nothing..The cart gatherers are always on their phones and no one says anything to them..These young people nees guidance... read more

My review is for the tire department. Sounds like I had a similar issue as Ken below. I had paid for the warranty for some larger sized work truck tires because I go through tires regularly working at construction sites. I liked the fact that they would one for one swap them or give you a percentage back based off of tread wear. Not a bad deal considering its another $5 or so for the warranty, I think. Anyways, on to my issue. Had a flat on a Sunday morning on I-20. Changed my tire and put the spare on. Went about my business because it was too early for them to be open. Went over early afternoon around 1 or so to drop my truck off to get the tire replaced, granted this is a brand new tire from there that I bought the previous weekend. They say it can be fixed instead of replaced. I say that is fine because they don't have my custom tire and I don't want to ride around without a spare. I get put in line behind 2 or 3 other cars. 5 hours later, the store is literally closing before they get to me. I can't fathom how it could take so long to plug a tire. It isn't a mechanic shop so all they could have been doing to the cars in front of me was replacing 4 tires per at the max...unless I'm missing something else they do. Worst part about the whole experience is that I don't make it to the Airport Rd exit on I-20 before I have a blowout on the same tire. Oh no, but hold on...the story gets worse. So no big deal, FML today, I'll just change the same tire twice...get's worse. I jack my truck up like any person would do and take the tire off. Then I start cranking the spare down from underneath, concise to keep looking behind me for people driving like idiots. No kidding as soon as I look up, here is a pack of three 18 wheelers right on top of each other, one running the strips on the side of the road. The wind coming off of them rocks my truck so hard it tilts, makes it start leaning, then snaps the jack and falls over on to the ground. Now I'm in a real pickle. I git a 2500 work truck loaded down with gear sitting on the ground. An hour later, my brother gets there with my high lift jack and it takes both of us to get it back off the ground using his truck jack, my high lift jack, and numerous blocks of wood. Took about 45 minutes or so once he got there to help. Finally got the spare on. The next day I was working over in Meridian, so I went over to their Sam's where they ordered me a new tire. So what's the moral of the story? I'm not sure...but changing the same tire twice in the same day sucks. And when you see people pulled over on the side of the highway working on the vehicle, scoot on over to the passing lane to give them some room. read more

It's your normal big box wholesale store. On Saturdays they usually have many tasty treats for you to try. I usually shop here for headlight restorations for vehicles because they do a great job for $42 after tax. I noticed that they recently have more lines open at the checkout area and are trying to do better overall and cut down on the time each customer has to wait. read more

Curbside service is ridiculous! They're always at least 1- 2 hours late picking the orders. They don't even send messages that orders are delayed or give a correct estimate of how long it'll be. And then you have to go inside to get your order cause they won't update the system that the orders are ready so you can check in. Don't even bother calling to check on your order. If you're lucky enough to get anyone to answer the phone, they say they're running 30 minutes behind. Nope. An hour and 30 minutes at least. The workers are rude and inconsiderate towards customers. They won't even look at you or care that you have other groceries or kids waiting in the vehicle for hours. The curbside manager is awful. She just says not to leave home til you get notified that your order is ready. That doesn't work when you need to also buy from other stores and then your groceries are spoiled from sitting in the car for too long. It doesn't work for people who have jobs and appointments that they have to be on time for. There are severe problems here yet they make no attempts to correct the issues. They just want customers to deal with it without complaining. Yeah. It's over 90 degrees outside, so everybody can just sit in their cars for hours. And pay $4 for their wonderful curbside service. read more

Do not waste your time or money on this store location. The customer service at this location is the absolute most unfriendly and unprofessional I've ever experienced. They were in no way helpful in answering the simple question " Do you have this still in stock". I was hung up on purposely 5 times. I was kept on hold for a total of 1 hour. I eventually had to drive 1.5 hours to this store to find out that they didn't have the item I was looking for in stock. read more

For the 2nd time we watched a couple in the self-check area not scan 2 items that were hidden by a giant package of paper towels and when they left store the employee marked their ticket without checking items (they did have more than just 3 mentioned) and let them leave l. I watched a couple in the line in front of me pay for 15 cas es of water and 12 cases of Gatorade with a food stamp card. They were in the pick-up line in front of me driving a brand new SUV. When I complained to to store manager, he said that he did not care where the money came from. I also ordered a case of whole ribeyes to be sliced. Ordered 10 days prior and called the day before to remind them. Went to pick up the next day and no one had any knowledge of my order. Needless to say, I was in a jam. No one could help me out. I saw a laptop that was on clearance in-store, unfortunately they didn't have any in stock. They looked at the near by locations and told me that the Meridian location had 2 laptops left of the exact same ones on sale. I called the Meridian to confirm if they had it and to put it on hold. So I made the hour in a half drive to the Meridian location to only find out that they couldn't give me the exact price that the Pearl Sam's said I could have. I spoke to a manager to see if they could honor the price since it's under the same whole sale company. Instead, the Meridian manager told me that the only way I could get the price is if the Pearl store called to get the laptop shipped to the Pearl location. If that was the case, I don't see what the big deal would be if the Meridian store just honor the price. These people are incompetent at their jobs. Gave me the run around to get nothing in return. read more

This review is for the tire department. The only thing positive is that they generally have decent quality tires that are probably somewhat cheaper than the local competition. The negative. They are ridiculously inefficient! It's unbelievable. You will wait hours for something that should take 45 minutes. Of course, once you pay, you are stuck. Never again. It's cheaper to pay a little more and go to a real tire dealership. Oh, and don't even think about going back for the "free" rotation. I'm a 65 year old disabled lady that spends a ton of money at Sam's....I have a large family and we are there most every weekend. I'm writing you to make a request for more handicap scooters to ride on....when you can't walk and you get there and what few you have are taken or won't work half the time, it makes you want to shop elsewhere....I love your store but please find more room for the scooters and supply more for us that shop there as much or possibly more than people not handicapped....I hope you take this request serious, we need more scooters at the Pearl, Ms. Sam's. OK. The store is usually clean. The restrooms are usually clean. Some days are better. Saturdays are a zoo usually. Floor personnel is helpful for the most part. Now for the bad stuff. First off, Sams is NOT the best price on everything. I do a lot of price shopping. So no...don't think they are going to be the best price just because. Do your homework as a consumer. Two gripes....First, I think the produce is often left out too long unrefrigerated. I have had things go bad in a day or two...well before the "due" date. Second, is the inconsistency of stock. They have something you really like. Then they don't. It can be very frustrating. The tire department is pretty good. I've never had a problem there. The bakery is very good. The cakes are actually very good for store bought. The pies are inconsistent. I've had awesome pies. I've had not so great pies. One more thing is the selection of the book department often reflects the views of the Corporate Board, which of course is very liberal. I don't shop here that much anymore because of that, in actuality. read more
