There's something about Sams Club that makes it fun. Walking around enjoying looking at all the unique items. I don't have a business to necessitate coming here, but the extreme uniqueness of items draw me in. They often have free samples out and good deals on clothing. Incredibly disappointed in the service from this location. I ordered a case arrangement for my significant other 3 days before Valentine's Day, to be delivered in the evening. Two hours before the scheduled delivery time, they emailed me saying the product I wanted was out of stock. I attempted to order another arrangement that was available, but due to their late notice, they did not have any selectable times to deliver on Valentine's Day. I've called multiple times in hopes I could speak to their "Member's Services" department. I wanted to work out a solution where they could make sure my S/O got flowers. My calls were left to ring for 3-4 minutes, then hung up on. In my opinion, this is bad business and a really poor showing. If you need a business that you can rely on (or just care), I'd recommend not using this store. read more

I took kids too Sam's Club Cafe bought them a pizza and yogurt and drinks. The employees names that served us for Diamond and James. These two employees were exceptionally courteous, super fast, never stop smiling makes you just love Sam's Club. If I still had my restaurant I would have hired them away . This was a great stop for fuel. They had the lowest price in the area at $1.94. It is a very convenient location and only one block off the interstate. We were coming up Hwy 231 so all we had to do is go over the interstate, go one block and turn left. The station islands were spotless and there were window cleaners at each. Give them a try. read more

I have been to this location for their pizzas fairly often, this particular time I purchased the pepperoni pizza and 2 of their hot dogs, which were exceptionally well. The price was not bad for the size of the pizza and hot dogs. They have computer setups to order the food in store and will give you a wait time so you can continue to shop. Employees were wearing gloves and masks. read more

The store was in disarray due to the remolding. It was a little discouraging to do any shopping because a lot of the items were in parts of the store I was not familiar. I am quite sure it will be back to normal soon. It's a good place to shop but help is ever around to ask questions. Very frustrating. I purchased 4 new tire at this sams club after having a blow out. The tire department took four hours to put new tires on my vehicle. If I didn't have the doughnut spare tire on the front I would have left. They weren't that busy either. It took two hours for them to figure out how to pull up my sams membership which I have had for 15 years to even pull the vehicle into the bay. I'm thinking about looking real close at Cosco instead of getting a renewal next time. read more

Like going to Sam's I'm a repeat customer. Love browsing their jewelry which they always have a unique collection. I purchase my brand name perfume from Sam's because you get more "bang for your bucks" -- quantity/quality. My Saturday lunch consist of walking through the store tasting delicious gourmet dishes and getting ingredient ideas for future meals. Not to forget I fill up all of my vehicles weekly at Sam's. The club is conveniently located and has the best gas prices in town. Sam's Club is truly a part of my household's way of life. The entire family are card holding members! read more

This Sam's has a nice, open layout. I notice they rotate their selection, so sometimes they have what I want, then they will go months without having it, then get it back again. Examples include Ore Ida frozen tater tots, and Kraft Easy Mac. The store is usually clean, with the exception of the tables in the cafe area. That being said I like their pizza. One slice is huge! It can feed two people. The line for the cafe is always long. My main issue with this location is how crowded it gets. Every time I've been here the lines to check out are ridiculously long. If you come here be prepared to wait. As is the case for all Sam's Clubs when you leave you have to show your receipt to be checked against what's in your cart. This line gets extremely long since there is only one person checking all of the receipts of the people who just checked out of the long lines. It's not efficient at all. They do have self-checkout which is a plus. However those lines also tend to be long. It would be nice if they opened a location in Prattville. This would relieve the crowdedness at the Montgomery location. read more

Cashiers seem like they don't want to be there.Ive been a member for 29 years and it's evident the employee attitude is worse than ever.We the customers are the reason the employees have a job,remember our money is green,so it will spend at Costco too just the same.I see 6-8 employees talking/playing and only 2 registers open most every trip.Starting to think hard about my other options. read more

This store is the worse. The employees are always talking among themselves instead of helping customers. I was there to get stamps for a business and the two girls checking me out at the register were too busy talking to help me. They always have that group meeting where they are clapping and shouting but they don't have time to help customers. read more

Went shopping at Sams because we got a 30 day free pass. The store is dirty and crowded and it took them exactly 15 minutes to pull a trash can out of the inventory for us after we checked out. We will not be coming back. read more

I've been coming to this Sam's for over 15 years, and I like the fact that this Sam's carry all of the household items that I need. Over the years the clientele has changed. I like the fact that the items are accessible to people who need government assistant. Everyone is able to supply their homes with bulk items, fresh fruit and veggies and quality meats. Although it's just one person in my household, I enjoy buying the items that I use the most like wine, fruits, and veggies. read more

We have been Sam's members since their stores opened. We moved here from MO a yer ago, and even though the Montgomery story seems to be smaller and carries fewer items, I like shopping there. My thumbs up to the pharmacy, best service I have ever received ANYWHERE. We also have a Costco membership and I find Costco prices are higher than Sam's on many items. At Sam's we have the Premier membership and with this my husband receives one of his prescription meds FREE. Costco does not offer that. I am happy with Costco, but I am VERY VERY HAPPY WITH SAM'S. read more

This SAM'S is always filthy inside, the selection is no so great and the employees are straight out of the Ghetto. Employees will yell at other employees and customers they know from across the building, and they will yell with customers standing beside them. A lot of shucking' and jiving' going on in this store. Sometimes it sounds like a bunch of cackling hens in this place when several employees get together right there on the floor and start laughing and jiving. Some of the employees have that exaggerated ghetto limp when they walk and will be looking you straight in the face when they walk right into you and try to knock you down if you don't jump out of their way. Does SAM'S do periodic drug testing? Probably only at hiring, after that it's game on for some of these people. Once I smiled and said hello to one of the assistant managers that was standing at the entrance and he just gave me a dirty look and looked away - wonderful place to shop. I don't regret letting my membership expire at all. This place is just a WAL MART without shopping bags. read more
