The business that I'm in has me driving about 50,000 miles a year in my car and spending time at heavy industrial sites like steel mills, paper mills, particleboard plants, and saw mills. As a result, I tend to run over quite a lot of wood chips and scrap steel which puncture my tires. On average, I have to get about ten tires repaired or replaced every year. Fortunately, when I showed up at this particular Firestone bright and early, I only had a slow leak. The gentleman behind the counter got my information, saw that I had a company car and had my information in his computer and got me right in. They had the tire patched (not plugged) which is a major bonus as it's a more permanent fix and saves you money in the long run even though it takes more time because they have to take the tire off the rim. I was out of there in the hour and the bill was sent to my company. All done at a reasonable price. Thanks Firestone. read more

I took my truck to Firestone last month and due to someone's negligence , the wheel came off after leaving the shop. It's been over a week and no one from Firestone has followed up. They kept my truck for a week after the incident (had to carpool with someone to work) while they purchased me a new wheel and some lugs nuts that they left off to begin with. What a joke!! This was a life-threatening mistake, and I cannot and will not recommend this shop to anyone. You've been warned. read more

We had a front end aliment and they failed to ensure the steering wheel was straight. So I had to take the time to take it back to be corrected. I see thing from the point of view if you don't have the time to do it right the first time where will you find the time to do it again. Because of their lack of attention to detail I had to make time for for them to do it again. It seemed like the staff as a whole was under qualified for the level of service they are attempting. read more

These guys are great. My wife was in town for a doctors appointment and I was several hours away with my own car troubles. I use the Firestone in our hometown a good bit and I knew they were a name that could be trusted. Her battery died in the parking lot and Marcus from this location came in on his off day since he was close and jumped her off. It's impossible to put a value on This type of service. What an amazing place! They took me in quicker than I expected and diagnosed a problem with my brakes that didn't entail randomly replacing parts. First I'll start out that this Firestone stays busy and if you are in a hurry you may want to go somewhere else. Their prices are fair but being corporate there is no haggling and the prices are what they state. This is my preferred auto shop in Prattville, they have always been fair to me and do honest work. They will take you out and show the problem and let you make an informed decision. I once came in due to my engine light being on and they discovered the sensor wasn't the problem and only replaced/fixed my intake. That saved me $200 and it has been working fine ever since. In a sense it is standard corporate auto shop and they honor there work nation wide. read more

I've been going here for years. Always does a great job, very friendly, and honest. Had one experience were my car was doing some odd things so took it to them. They replaced a few different sensors trying to fix the issue yet the issue remanded. Since they were unable to fix it they didn't charge me a dime. read more

They are friendly. But if you can get someone in do so. If you can't. Then don't tell them you can get them in and make them wait an hour before you get their car in. I waited over an hour. They did nothing extra. Didn't Wash windshield. Didn't vacuum. Nothing. Left my car smelling like the old cigarette residue off the worker driving it. Very dissatisfied. I had been getting my oil changed by Firestone for about a year. To my knowledge, they are supposed to top off all fluids in your car during that process. About two weeks after getting an oil change from them, my car ran hot (due to the coolant container being dry) which could have potentially damaged my radiator and/or motor. They obviously had not checked or topped off my fluid levels. I will no longer be using their services. read more
