This Sam's Club location is in the Peaks shopping center on Hover in Longmont. The parking g lot is huge, with even some shady spots for those long summer shopping trips. The staff is very friendly and surprisingly available to help find things. They have the best cinnamon rolls of any retail shop! Also fresh sushi and baked goods such as croissants and baguettes. This is a great store. The meat department is excellent - I have not bought meat from any other store for at least 7 years. All the help up front is friendly and helpful and the quality of the prepared foods, the bakery and the produce is way better than any of the groceries. Their scan and go works like a dream. WARNING::: I bought a box of Hostess danish at the Longmont store 2 days ago. The danish tasted like mold. Looked at the BEST BUY DATE MAY 18 2026 THAT WAS 10 DAYS AGO!!!! Longmont Sam's Club staff (Specially Sarah Mendez at Store #4987 ) is so friendly and solved my membership problem with in 30mis which was dragging years. The problem was related to the Cash Back on the Credit Card. The Problem: I'm the primary of the Sam's membership and my wife is secondary and She got the credit card from Sam's but I'm not in the credit account so what happened every year when we get cash back, She couldn't take out since she is not the primary of the Sam's membership and I couldn't take out either because i'm not in the credit account. Every year we had to spend 7-8hrs to explain this to their hotline and some how got the credit back to the card as a payment. But Sarah Mendez in Longmont Sam's helped us quickly to solve this problem by creating a new membership and add my wife as a primary to it (Nobody ever told us that can be solved this problem) and No credit pull again rather she called the credit card company to update to the new membership. We highly recommended this Store!!! read more

FUCKING AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. We went in for our regular trips to sams club. We used our app to check out, when we tried to leave they "weren't able to scan" or E-receipt. We were charge $430 for groceries we couldn't even leave the store with. Katie and Brandon were 1. Extremely unhelpful, 2. Basically told us to REPAY for everything we already paid for because there was an issue verifying we were old enough to buy beer. Sam's club needs better managers. So because two kids didn't know what to do, we had to leave our cart full for them to put away. Im going to go ahead and cancel my membership. Because this whole encounter was bullshit. Love sams club and all it's high quality product, although the good feeling soon went sour when an associate lied to my face saying he had a promotion offer for me for no additional charge that later ended up being a 100$ charge for a plus membership. As a frugal shopper and a young man always looking for the best deal, I asked the employee to confirm several times that this would not result any additional charge and he pleaded it was purely promotional for a gift card I would be receiving. I think internally all Sam's Clubs are pretty much the same in what they carry and have available so I am going to try to only focus my review on the things specific to this store. For me the employees here are a little bit better than I have found in other stores and the general retail business. They have always been friendly and eager to help find something or answer any questions that I have. When I am stopping to grab some food and sitting down watching people while I eat. I see the majority of the checkers laughing and engaging with the customers and just being general happy employees which is nice. The store is usually kept pretty clean and I have rarely even found anything on the floor that I would consider to be dirty or leaving me with a bad impression. I do see the occasional person walking around sweeping up the place during bad weather or high traffic times. I find the prices here to be a little better than they are further south. Im not sure how much of it is regulated by location, or if its just the store itself making better prices than the surrounding area, but overall I am more likely to get a better deal here on just about anything. Some features I really like that I know are absent from a few of the other locations is the self serve propane outside which is really awesome and works great. The parking is huge and really nice to be able to find a parking place even during peak times. The external product placement here is also really nice. They tend to have products that I would actually be interested in and the people giving the demonstrations are really good and friendly. Overall I would rate this as one of the better Sams Clubs that I have been too and would rather go to this one than another one if I had the choice. read more

UPDATE: 3/25/18. I need to mark this day that I have declared myself insane. My understanding of insanity is repeating the same behavior expecting a different outcome. My previous review said I would not be back but my wife insisted "they have to have it in stock" so as not to argue with her I decided to smile and go in. Of course every other Sam's on the front range has stock but as the service desk clerk cheerfully explained: "this club doesn't carry the same items as the rest". No kidding! This time I promise to get my insanity under control. I will NOT be back. Can I give them zero stars? OLD REVIEW: I have been here three times. Each time left empty handed. Today I came to make a very substantial bakery order - no one to help. Last time I called to check stock when I arrived 10 minutes later they had no stock and had not had it for some time. Second time I have been in here since they have opened and both times I have been disappointed. The refrigerated food section was out of a lot of items, could not find regular Lipton bottled tea but they had it in diet. Went to check out and the self checkout lane would not recognize my card either by chip reader or magnetic strip. Called for assistance and some young girl seemed to know about the problem already as she immediately used the bar code scanner to scan the back of my card. WTF? Never have had to do this at any other Sam's location. Overall don't care for this location as I have been to several others that are much better. read more

Has all the same great products as other Sams. Only place I've seen one cashier open on a Saturday afternoon with a line blocking the walkway. The cafe is always delicious but I was shocked to find the blond young lady who was preparing all the food wearing her hairnet incorrectly. We live in fort lupton and my husband stopped in to get a few necessities for us, and was turned away because he was not a "plus" member. There were four cars in the parking lot. The lady told him he could pay more to upgrade so he could come in....this is the type of business model that makes sense? Paying for a membership in general should be enough. Blown away with how friendly the staff is at this location! My family was traveling from Texas to Estes Park. After a long day of travel saw a road closure along the way on our navigation. This definitely put a damper on our plans. We called ahead to this location to see if they would mind us parking our RV overnight. The lady on the phone quickly got he ok from her manager. As we pulled in to fill up at the Sam's club pumps we were graciously greeted by Patty! She was so kind to offer us alternative routes and even called her husband to help! She went above and beyond to offer to help us back our rv away from the filling stations! Our family are all members of Sam's club and it's employees like Patty who keep people coming back!!! He then had to tell me a story about how he just got back from Florida and the lady in front of him got skimmed and he didn't. I don't care about him. I will not be using this gas station again. This Sam's club deli accidentally heard my 8 year old daughter's order wrong (She ordered 2 Icees and a big slice of pizza because the slices are "big"). The deli ordered and charged us for a whole pizza. My daughter told me it would be 8 minutes so I just thought they had to make more. I needed to go check a price and when I came back there was not a slice of pizza on the counter. I asked my daughter for the receipt and she said that she didn't get one. The nice lady saw me and brought over a whole pizza along with the receipt. I explained that we just wanted a "big" slice of pizza and she told me to go ask for a refund and they would probably tell me to take the whole pizza. But to come back and she would give us a piece of pizza since our order was incorrect. I went to ask for a refund and they refunded me and asked if I got my slice of pizza. I said "no" and then went back to the deli to get my daughter's slice of pizza. The nice deli lady saw me and told me to just take the whole pizza as she already made it and that she understands it is more than I want, but to just take it. As a single mom, I thanked her and thought to myself "well... I guess me and my daughter's are having pizza for dinner" and I put the pizza in the cart. As I walk toward the exit the lady that refunded me rudely stops me. "Is that the pizza I just refunded you for?, I said "yes". The rude lady said "I am letting her know that I refunded you". I explained that the deli lady knew it was refunded and it was given to me and my 2 daughters. She responds "Well... if you are going to take that pizza home, then you can get back in line and pay for it". I gave her the pizza. I then saw one of the managers and explained what happened and that I had been treated rudely. She was willing to give us a slice of pizza as the rude customer service person stood beside her but honestly as a single mother with anxiety issues, I was so upset and was just ready to leave. I felt like I was treated like a criminal, like I was stealing something that had been given to me after a mistake. I think it's wonderful that now when you shop at Sam's they have someone unloading your cart and loading your groceries back into the cart. However, it takes 2 people per checkout line so when you've got to check stands open and miles of people wanting to check out you could really use that extra person to open Elaine instead of bagging my groceries. This place is horrible. This is the only Sam's club I can compare it to, so it may be just this store and not all Sam's Clubs; my only comparison is Costco, and there is no comparison. The only reason I gave it two stars is because they had most of the grocery items that I was interested in. But, the people working here have absolutely no idea about anything; any inquiry is met with a blank stare or a "I don't know" response. If you don't need any help with anything, maybe it would be okay. I had a lot of minor issues in my three trips to the store (I don't think I will be going back any more), but my big issues came when I tried to buy a couch. I don't have a truck or any reasonable way of getting an item that size home, so I figured I would have it delivered. I asked the customer service if they deliver couches, and they said yes, they use a service called GoConfigure who could do the delivery (for $79). I asked if they would delivery to the room I needed and I was told that I needed to call them. Note, I had to talk to three people to get this information, but it was at least a start. Okay, so I leave the store without the couch. I call GoConfigure and the first person I talk to confirms they will deliver the couch but doesn't know if they deliver to the room; its the weekend and they don't have anyone who can confirm. I call back on Monday and the person who answers has no idea and disconnects me (I guess accidentally). The third person I talk to unequivocally, tells me that they will deliver my sofa to my room. Yeah. So, I head back to Sam's to buy a sofa and that's when things get frustrating. First they don't have any barcode slips and I have to talk to three people before they call a fork-lift person to get the couch down. They take the couch to the front, but when I go to check out the woman doesn't know how to scan the couch without a barcode slip... 5 minutes later someone is finally able to scan the couch. They give me the brochure to the delivery place (GoConfigure) and tell me to call them and they will get pick up the couch and deliver. It all sounds great until I get home and call GoConfigure, and they tell me that they don't deliver sofas. What!!!! So, by this time at least 7 people (3 from GoConfigure and 4 from Sam's) have told me that they can deliver my sofa, but when I go to schedule it, no can do. The women I talked to verified with her manager. By this time I was so disgusted I just returned the couch. I explained what happened (in brief) but it didn't seem to matter. Maybe this is a common occurance and that is why it didn't phase the customer service people. Sorry for the long review. I am fed up with Sam's Club and so I will continue driving 35 miles to Costco to avoid this pain in the future. read more

My first time in this Club. Normally I shop at the Sams Club in Northglenn by 104th Avenue so this was a nice change of scenery. Smiling associates, different store layout, and more inventory than the busier North Glenn store. Granted I came in at 11am so the store probably seemed tidier due to less foot traffic that Saturday. Got a battery changed in a car. The guys tried to sell me a more expensive battery even though I called ahead of time of check if my battery was in stock. Seemed like the associate was too lazy to seriously look through their inventory. Also seemed like both of the associates working at the Tire and Battery center were very air-headed like they were high or something. read more

As a long time Sam's member - over 20 years - I was excited to have Sam's in Longmont. Since opening I have spent a lot of energy defending Sam's to friends and neighbors. The biggest concern is the check-out - slow and poor employee attitude. I go to Sam's twice a week or more. I have seen the same issue myself over and over. Today was the last straw for me. My wife and I had a problem with an item in the self check and couldn't find an employee to help. We took the item through a regular check-out line and the employee ran into problems (with another customer in front of us) and couldn't find a manager to assist. We put the item back and left with our purchases. OK. We have been shopping at the Sam's on Hover since they opened. Their variety leaves a little to be desired in the frozen food department. I can live with that. The people are very nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. Store is clean and very customer oriented. We will continue to shop this store but I will only buy, maybe stew meat from their meat department in the future. We have purchased steaks from them in the past and they have been...OK. This last batch of Top Sirloins we purchased packed at 3:03 on December 13th marked use or freeze by 12/16/17 could not be served to anyone with out a skill saw for teeth. Had to abandon what was in our plates after about one third of our steaks were consumed. If I served this to guests I would have been very embarrassed. I used to sell meat and I sold Prime, Choice and No - Roll beef for years. This 22.00 package of meat was tougher than any no- roll beef I ever had delivered. The package didn't say "choice" on it so I guess it was my fault for not reading the label. NEVER AGAIN! We will make an expensive stew out of whats left. Also I don't like being accosted by sales people on the floor, they are very pushy and irritating.This cheapens our shopping experience. Your sample servers are great.
