But when I finally found it and walked through the doors the huge queue did not scare me. A bunch of my friends kept saying: "this is the best burger in town, you must have it", and I was determined to try it, no matter what. The queue was big but it didn't take a lot of time to get my order, I think the biggest problem is finding a table, if you didn't save one before ordering. But let's talk about food! The burgers are indeed delicious, juicy and yummy. Basically you choose if you want a regular burger, a cheeseburger or a steak burger and add some toppings (like bacon or sauces) you might want with it. Are you a vegetarian? No problem, they have veggie option. Also, they are pretty flexible in changing the order or the ingredients inside the burger (which you may know is not very common in London), so if you want something different or want your burger cooked another way they encourage you to let them know, so your experience will be even better. Come and try, you will not regret it.

I'm generally not the one who's always…read morefloating on the wave of the hip places, but given that this joint is in a rather unhip neighbourhood - aka corporately boring Marylebone - I am actually quite happy about this addition. I've been to Tommi's for lunch yesterday; I got there right around noon and that was a good thing as the lunch crowd started to pour in just after me. I ordered the "Deal of the Century", which includes a burger, fries and a drink. Although they have a couple of sauces on sale, I don't think they're necessary as they also offer a wide variety of free condiments, such as various ketchups, mayos, chilli sauce & my absolute favourite...the caramalised onion. (They are that good and I wouldn't be surprised if they started charging for them soon.) Like I said, I like Tommi's Burger Joint - especially for the fact that it's dared to come to a rather bland location. I just hope that they won't get this silly idea to expand their emporium in a Byron style fashion...as soon as I see another Burger Joint popping up, they will have lost me as a costumer. I plea you: stay unique!

It's true that if you've been to one of the many burger chains in London, you've kind of been to them all. However, each one guarantees good- if not great- quality, and a few signature twists of their own. This place is no different, and conveniently-located near one of London's most famous landmarks. The interior of this one leaves a bit to be desired, with it's quirky Scrabble-looking signage and funky colors, but the menu is the same as everywhere else. I was a bit miffed that I had to get up and go order at the bar after being seated, but the menu was straightforward enough that it didn't take long. Service was also a bit lukewarm, but whatevs. It being my first time here, I thought it best to go with one of their benchmark signatures and ordered The Legend burger with smoked applewood cheese and a side of sweet potato fries with a bacon mayonnaise dipping sauce. I have to say, that was one darn good burger. The meat was perfectly cooked, the sauce they used balanced out all the flavors nicely, and those fries were cooked to such perfection, I had to force myself to use the dipping sauce so it wouldn't go to waste. There was nothing wrong with this meal. And the price wasn't bad, either. They also have a nice selection of cheap cocktails, beers, and dessert on the menu, but for all that, you're going to need an extra stomach or two.

The ordering concept is cool! You order via scanning a QR Code. While waiting for your food, you can go up and get your own utensils, napkins, and sauces. Then when your food is ready, it comes directly to your table. Fast too! For a starter, I recommend trying the Halloumi Sticks with chili jam. They taste just like a delicious cheese stick. The Peri Peri wings are another must have starter. For my meal, I ordered the half chicken with Peri Peri sauce. My sides were broccoli and rice. Absolutely delicious! My mother ordered the butterfly chicken breast with corn and fries. She loved her meal as well! We enjoyed it so much that we ate nearly all of it and had no room for dessert. Apparently there are Nando's in the eastern part of the US, but being a west coast girl, how would I know that? Anyway, I always heard people rave about the place, so I wanted to see what the hype was about while we were in London. Mediocre chicken and sides with better sauce. I don't have a desire to go back to Nando's, but I do have a desire to have some of their sauces/marinades in my life. Thankfully, I don't have to make a trip to the east coast or UK to get these sauces. They are at may local grocery store apparently. Ha! Anyway, Nando's is pretty cheap, healthy eats. I didn't find the chicken to be juicy or amazing, but it was okay. The rice I got was super dry and not flavorful either. The staff at this location was nice, but I didn't like how they hovered as we ate. One girl kept coming over to remove stuff from the table, and I wish she would've just let us finish eating!
