This most recent sale came with several contingencies that could have delayed or derailed the process. We were understandably worried, but Jin took each one by the horns and resolved them one by one. Thanks to her skill and determination, we closed right on schedule. How else can we describe her? Simply fabulous. Her team was equally wonderful and a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much, Jin!

While the home-buying process itself was smooth, our move-out experience was the complete opposite. As a family with young children, we were repeatedly questioned and made to feel uncomfortable over normal wear and tear......things like minor drywall nicks that are expected in any home with kids. These were already being addressed on our end with a contractor, as we had communicated. Despite agreeing to cover repairs and forfeit a $3,000 deposit, we were met with unnecessary comments and a level of aggression that felt unprofessional and unwarranted. It was especially disappointing given that we chose to work with her over many other options, expecting a level of trust and respect in return. We believe in accountability and were fully willing to take care of any legitimate damages....but respect and professionalism should go both ways. Based on this experience, we would not recommend doing business with Jin.

Tyler's recommendations on prepping for sale were spot on, once accomplished, we listed and had a contract within two weeks. Two days prior to closing a problem developed between the buyer and their lender (they were pre-approved). Tyler spent hours working with the buyer's agent, lenders and ourselves to develop a solution. The revised contract for a pre-occupancy mitigated exposure and risk as another lender was obtained. Tyler's local knowledge, dedication to his clients and integrity are beyond reproach. We felt as if we got the attention of someone with a multi million dollar estate when in fact we were selling a mid 300s home. Would highly recommend Tyler if you are in need of a real estate professional in the Warrenton area.

He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. Obtaining the services of a real estate agent is much more than "finding someone to sell your…read morehome". This is especially true if you are selling an inherited property as I was earlier this year. A good real estate agent will know the area, know the laws and rules and will help assess your home and get it listed and sold for a "good price". A great real estate agent is a counselor, a partner in your effort, someone who "has your back" throughout the process in addition to doing all of the real estate work. Philippa Main is an *outstanding* real estate agent and an even better person. My father passed away leaving a home in Woodbridge, Virginia - the home in which I grew up and which contained almost 50 years of possessions. I contacted Philippa in March of 2026 to discuss its potential sale even as the house was in significant disarray while I engaged in the slow process of cleaning it out and sorting through the many things my parents had accumulated over the years. When she visited the home, I looked around and threw up my hands. Philippa looked around and said, "we can make this happen." I sought her out specifically because she mentioned having expertise in sales of homes that are inherited - a particular niche that involves a delicate dance of handling family dynamics, wills, probate laws and determining what, if any, money should be put into renovations or improvements that will get a reasonable return on the investment. From our first conversation over the phone - which she took time to do in the middle of a busy weekend - Philippa was incredibly personable, easy to talk to and anticipated many of my questions and many of my concerns as we talked. By the end of our conversation, I felt like I was chatting with a friend who had expertise I needed. Over the following three months, she was a (rapidly-responded-to) text or phone call away as I navigated getting the house ready for sale. She helped outline a schedule and a plan to list the home. She connected me with a large network of trusted service providers from junk removers to contractors to painters to flooring experts from whom I obtained estimates and some of whom I contracted to help clear out the house and prepare it for sale. While she always reiterated that she would back any decision I made regarding the house, I always sought her counsel when making major decisions such as whether or not to spend money on renovations and, if so, which ones were most important. Of course, there were obstacles - some amusing, some less-so - but Philippa helped me handle each one with a confidence borne of having "seen it before". That is an incredibly valuable thing when dealing with a stressful situation. In the end, the home was listed in June and had nearly seventy showings in three days. The house sold for well over its asking price and after all of it I know some things: The home could have been sold by another agent. But few, if any, others could have been a partner in the process the way Philippa was for me. She was a trusted resource, a confidant, a person who knew when to inject humor into a situation and when helping me vent was what was needed - she understands people and the process of selling an inherited home in addition to being a brilliant real estate agent who knows the area and who knows how to get the job done. I couldn't recommend her more for ANY real estate work but, especially, if you face the task of preparing and selling an inherited property.

She spent time giving her perspective on the market and easing my concerns about getting started before we had a formal contract with her. She was willing to see many houses throughout our search as we looked at too small and too large homes until we found one right in the middle. Lara was fun to work with, she was always upbeat and helpful. More than anything we felt like Lara was 100% focused on our needs as a family, not about closing a quick deal, not about optimizing her commission, and not about what would have been easy. She felt like part of our family and that she was as invested in finding the right thing for us as we were. She was always thinking strategy for us when she saw we had some interest in a home, and her communication with the other agents was awesome as this approach helped us gain insights and positioning. She talked us through the strategy to make our offer to win against 7 other buyers and we still felt like we got great value for our home. Our only regret is that we used a different agent to sell our prior home and it would have been much smoother and more positive experience with Lara by our side! If you are looking to sell a home ...Michelle is great. However, I would be hesitant to use her for purchasing a home. I bought a home with her and my brother sold his home using her. He and I were both pleased.. BUT later when I was looking to move...I thought she had my best interest in the process. UNTIL she didn't. I have suffered for that since. On the day of walk through for closing...it was raining and the basement was wet. I had said over and over when we saw homes that had mildew and mold in the basements that I cannot have that. I have had lung problems since birth and cannot survive mold or mildew. So... I said...we cannot close. I cannot buy this house I love, because I cannot get flood insurance here. She called a contractor friend who said this is what you need to fix it and it will cost $5,000. So the seller put the money in escrow and it would not be released until I approved of the final repairs to the basement to prevent flooding. Then I agreed to close with that stipulation. Guess what...it was not fixed and I have had my basement flood 4 times in the years I have lived here. Each time I have to remove drywall, carpeting, padding, flooring, etc. Anything on the floor gets thrown out (furniture etc.) I hire professionals for water remediation and they come in with big dehumidifiers and fans to dry it out. Noisey and expensive.. Then hire a contractor to put drywall back and refinish the basement...Then cost of replacing what was lost (furniture etc.) This is very expensive. Nobody will buy this house now knowing it floods. I put in a sump pump but still have to deal with water damage when the basement floods. My wheelchair ramp was built with composite material but turns out the contractor used wood support which rotted when it got wet so I have to replace it too. I moved here because I could not make my other house handicap accessible. Now that I made this one accessible...I have to deal with floods and mold. NOT happy. I have since found out that the seller pays the real estate commission for the buyer's realtor...so of course Michelle Perkins wa getting paid by the seller so she really did not serve in my best interest after all. I got duped.

I have no complaints about his quality of work and would instead praise his attention to detail. Kenneth also does not focus on the commission and leave/disappear after the closing. We had a post-closing issue on whether the sellers had taken bricks from the property. Kenneth took it upon himself (after the seller's agent and seller would not replace the bricks or pay for them) to go to home depot and replace the bricks himself. Furthermore, he has been very accommodating on meeting times and location. He makes it so working with him is easy and flexible. I HIGHLY recommend Kenneth Wang as a realtor in all of DMV area!

And we dealt with a very very frustrating gauntlet of a couple months because of the home being under construction, some communication lapses and incredibly exasperating lender shenanigans, literally up to a half hour before closing. I'm telling you, we wanted to drive off a cliff at times. JP kept us sane. He was like a loyal bulldog, always looking out for us, (nicely) cracking skulls to get answers from the other players in the deal.
